Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 21/8

    WTO - WAYDTGKU:

    TWW - Timing: O, +1

TWW - Testing:  Was hoping to hold out until 11/30, but will likely test tomorrow, because I'm an impatient catlady. Probably need a BFN to slow down the symptom train.

CS/Q: chart in spoiler if you're interested. link to chart page for mobile: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/5d5ee4

R/R: Just feeling super exhausted and sick to my stomach. I've been trying to push through and work this weekend, and it's been work a couple hours, rest a couple hours. Going back to my regular schedule tomorrow is probably not going to be good.

GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? I watched so many classic TV shows. fave cartoons were the flintstones and scooby-doo.

  • Ah I'm so excited to see some of the 1/1s that I've missed!!!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD/DPO: CD19, I'm thinking -1 from O

WTO - WAYDTGKU: OPKs (even though I ran out before I got a peak!), BBT, CM tracking

CS/Q: Chart in spoiler for stalking:

R/R: work has been crazy. TTC has been crazy. Everything is crazy! DH commented something that insinuated he was questioning his sperm quality. So I guess we're almost gettting to that point.

GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? Care Bears!
  • @JennyColada - welcome back! so happy to see you! how have you been! I <3 care bears, too! :)

    Month/Cycle: 24 NTNP, 1/1 TTC

    CD/DPO: 18/1

WTO - WAYDTGKU: HIO, PNV, charting CM and BBT, OPKs

    TWW - Timing: -5, -3, 0

TWW - Testing: AF should show 12/8, I'm gonna wait! (Even though I might have POAS twice last week...)

    CS/Q: Nah

R/R: GUYS. Posting here a bit differently from my TWW post on TTGP because one of the ladies got bad news and I didn't want to distract - I need opinions!

We applied to rent a house on Saturday. Found it as a fluke and fell in love. Sent sincere letter introducing ourselves better w pics of pups. Owners replied yesterday saying we were the only complete application, and started talking dates, saying they're willing to work with us!

Then replied today asking how long we see ourselves living there (bc it's month-to-month)... doesn't this sound like they're seriously considering us?! I don't want to get my hopes up because I LOVE the house, but... but... it would be kinda weird if they came back with a no now, right?!

***overly cautious TW*** I just need some good news bc I this house was the first one I've seen that I got the feeling of "Omg I could bring a baby home here" so I want opinions on these communications just to make sure DH and I aren't infected with wishful thinking! ***end TW

Edit: because I'm too excited and on my phone

  • @leafyarch - i do think they're considering you. fully filling out the paperwork is a pretty big point for you guys. It shows you're conscientious and can follow up on things (independently!). I bet they really want to get an idea of how long they can expect you to be there. Knowing they'll have to clean, advertise, get another renter in there if you plan to just be there for less than six months, it might not be ideal for them. But I do think they want to work with you. Be cautiously hopeful - know they still might say no, but put it out there and hope for the best! it's hard to find a nice place to rent when you have pets. Optimistic for you!

  • @catlady2015 Thank you! It's so important to me to start getting settled. I've been wanting a house for years and years. Somehow it all feels connected to TTC.

  • @leafyarch - I feel the same way. We just moved to a new town and I want a house like yesterday, even though I know it makes sense to get to know the town before we buy. I look around our apartment and think, we can’t have a baby here! Even though we’re actively trying now, really hoping it will help accelerate the house hunt. Hope you guys get it!

  • @leafyarch we were in the same
boat in not really feeling like we could have a baby until we were in a house (we rent). I hope it works out for you! We were the first offer on our rent house and it had just been put on the market. There were multiple offers on it the next day, but we got it because we were first. Now I would really like to move/buy but I’m glad we had DS while living here and not our apartment.

    Month/Cycle: 3/1

    CD/DPO: 32/3

    WTO - WAYDTGKU: The usual

    TWW - Timing: -4 Boo

TWW - Testing: 8DPO because my brother is having a party and will have my favorite wine. I want to drink with a clean conscience. After that I’ll wait until 11 DPO if AF doesn’t show.

CS/Q: Here is my rocky chart. I’m still having a hard time believing I Oed since it took so long. But I’m going with what FF says.

R/R: I thought our timing was -5, but apparently I can’t math. -4 is better than nothing at least.

GTKY: What was your favorite TV show as a kid? I loved Saved By the Bell

  • @catlady2015 and @lalala2004 - glad to hear I'm not the only one! It is a big deal where you decide to nest. For me personally, I would never want to have a baby living in an apartment. Nothing against people who do - my parents didn't buy a house till I was 10 - but for me, being in a house is a big deal.

It kinda feels like one of the crucial steps to me, if I get KU this TWW, I know that I'd have to move at some point in the pregnancy. I feel like just getting over that hurdle already!

and thanks for the votes of confidence about the house. They have not called my current landlord or coworker references (I know because they would have told me) so all I can do is wait, wait, wait = *apply as needed to all aspects of my life* :P

  • Hey friends, I have a question for any of you who are charting.  I'm getting my IUD out on Thursday (!!!) and got the BBT thermometer I ordered last week.  I started recording temps on Fertility Friend a couple days ago just to get the hang of it, see if I could use the thermometer without waking up DH, etc.  Since I got the IUD in about 2 years ago, I really haven't had periods - I've had very light spotting every once in a while. For the last year or so it has followed a pattern similar to a normal period though (happens just about every month).  I started the usual spotting on Sunday.  Even though it's not a real period, would y'all count that as CD1? Does the day the IUD comes out count as the start of a new cycle?? Or should I just leave this all alone til I have a real period after the removal?

Thanks in advance for your help with my newb questions :):)
  • @diaphena I am by no means someone who knows much about charting and temping, I'm still getting the hang of it myself. I would definitely put the spotting in, I don't think it will count that as CD1 though. If it's more of a light period then it will count that as CD1 though. Even if you don't have exact CDs for this first "cycle" you'll at least be able to get the hang of temping and get some info in there. I started in the middle of a cycle, so my temps for those last couple weeks didn't mean much to FF, but I didn't mind not starting on CD1.

Hopefully someone else with more insight will respond, too!

@diaphena I second what @cecilb93 says. Just start logging, and who knows you might be really thankful to have that data, especially if things are wonky to start. Not to scare you, but it took me a year and a half to become _somewhat_ regular after being on BCP (but I also have PCOS). I started charting the day I got off the pill and even though there wasn't much to see, I was glad I had the _lack_ of data to show my OBGYN!

    edit: typos

  • @diaphena - thirded. if you can't be sure, have a "quasi-chart" to help you get the hang of tracking stuff. your first period after iud removal you'll know if it's spotting or flow and FF will start a new chart for you if it's flow.

  • Thanks so much ladies. Since it has been so long since I had a real period, and FF wanted a start date, I just set it for Sunday when the spotting started. I'll keep my "quasi chart" going until I get a real period again!

@leafyarch No worries about scaring me, I have PCOS too. :) It took me forever to start having cycles after I came off BCP as well - this was a while back before I switched to the IUD. I'm hoping since the hormones in the IUD are different it won't be as bad this time, but who knows. I have learned to just have no expectations with PCOS!
  • @diaphena your chart won’t tell you much until you have a period, but at least you’ll already be in the habit of temping.
