I don't know about treats yet but I do know I'm making the moms and Grandmom's presents again this year. I make outdoor decor out of 4x4 lumber and this year they all get snowman! I did santas and Angels the last two years and I'll make nutcrackers next year. I'll try to post a picture but I'm on mobile and I've never done it before! edit to add: these were my first ones years ago! They've gotten better over the years...especially their faces!
Man. If I was crafty or if my family lived close by I would totally make things for them. But I’m not and they all live in CA, I’m in TN, so they’ll likely all get some photo item of DS that I can get from Shutterfly and ship directly to them. Haha.
@JuliaGoolia719 I've been hearing so much about the instant pots. What exactly are they? Is it a pressure cooker?

@jasonsgirl92 yea it’s a brand of pressure cooker. The one I have is the 7 in 1, so it can make yogurt, rice etc. I really like it, I do home made stock (bone broth) and it takes 2-3 hours instead of 24, frankly even if I just used it for that I’d call it a win lol. It’s not always faster than cooking on the stove, but it’s not hands on, so like for risotto you don’t have to baby sit it and stir it constantly etc. @supercoolstephy I will! I’m a little nervous but figure if it bombs I’ll just use the excuse of “I’m growing a person” sorry you didn’t get anything from me this year lol.
This is our first Christmas with just the two of us. So, I guess before I pop out our LO, I’m going to take cooking and baking into my own hands. (Which I’m good at, it’s just I’ve never made a Christmas dinner before). I plan on making Ham, Deviled eggs (SO’s favorite), mashed potatoes and some type of vegetable dish. For dessert, I was thinking about making a homemade chocolate silk pie. It will be nice to just sit down, eat and enjoy us.
These are awesome ideas!!!!! I've been in a crazy crafting mood lately so I've made a million Christmas decorations this year. I'm starting to run out of space! I want to make our family home made gifts this year but what if I go into labor early?! Maybe I should stick with baking
@libbberty You're welcome I'm gonna make some for SIL if I don't get lazy and end up just doing chocolates. She's like a walking ad for Pinterest lol

I'm a crafter by trade (ok and dog groomer by day because it pays the bills every Friday but come baby time I'm hoping to stay home and craft full time) so we've made a little of everything! But I've done very little for personal gifts because I'm just not feeling it this year Idk if its because we had planned on this being baby's first Christmas for our miscarriage back in March and I haven't really gotten past that, if its because I'm more concerned and stressed about THIS baby's birth in January or if its because we are in limbo on how soon the house we are buying will go under contract and get us moving along I don't want to decorate and all that just to pack it and move. (Lets be honest probably a combination of all 3) but I'm so looking forward to NEXT Christmas and saving a bunch of these ideas. I've already told DH that Christmas is going to arrive next October and I'm gonna milk it til its time to get ready for Levi's first birthday haha
@BrandedCowgirl92 We had a MC in March of this year as well. It's really hard to not think about that baby even with this baby, but I know that--at least for me--I know that even if it doesn't make sense to me, and makes me angry and sad, that it all happened for a reason (God has a plan) and now this baby is getting a chance that one didn't get and as his new mom I need to make the most of that. I know it's really sad, but these babies we are carrying now need us much more than those that are now in a way better place
Your crafts are beautiful by the way. I'm planning on making a board nativity scene like that for MIL! Do you use that cricut thing? I know there's another thing like it, I can't remember the name of it. Everyone seems to be using them in their crafts. Looks so professional that way.

We make bourbon balls for everyone here, but that's ALL I'm doing this year (I'm even catering Christmas dinner in, since I'll be 38 weeks lol).
