I think we finally decided on a name for the baby! I had a dream that we named her a name we hadn't even been discussing and told DH about it and he liked it. Plus, he told me he likes it because the baby will have the same initials as him mom (who passed away when he was young). And our consultation in FL is on her birthday! I take these all as good signs.
Re: Weekly Randoms- 11/27
How did yor Thanksgiving go? How are you feeling with all the appointments lined up in front of you?
Although, I realized after talking to some other CDH moms that even when we bring her home, she likely can't go to regular daycare for a while because they are more prone to getting sick. So now that's stressing me out! But trying to take it one thing at a time.

...but on the other hand, WTF HE’S MARRYING A 30-SOMETHING AMERICAN WHICH MEANS I TOTALLY HAD A CHANCE. I cannot believe I missed out on being a princess, my one true calling in life. CRAP.
I am irrationally happy about the news. I don't know why it's making me so happy, but it really is! I hope she is ready for the intense scrutiny, my gosh how mean people can be to public folks.
And I’m with you on being irrationally happy about this. I love the royals and I love them!
I so have the digital copy of this movie and I have no shame for it LOL
@sparklingdiamond that is soooo cute about the name. I hope all of that is great signs to come. Good luck with the scan tomorrow and hope it comes with some good news.
Side note: I was working in London during the last royal wedding and it was AMAZING. My BFF flew over for it and it was such a great party. I cannot believe I’ll miss out on it this time. DAMN KIDS.
My random is my skin....like WTF??? I've always had combination skin that tended to get oily, including my hair. I was just bragging about my hair the other day and how I don't have to wash it every day now. Then I decided to try a new face wash rather than one meant for combination skin. It is Philosophy's Purity which is all natural and meant for any skin type. After 2 uses, my skin dried out like crazy and broke out in a scaly, red, itchy rash.

@ngolimento crap, that is very stressful. I’m thinking of you and praying it passes right away so you can cruise into your anatomy scan without any more worries.
AFM, just got my Uniqlo order. I bought three pairs of their elastic waistband heat tech pants in a size up from my usual size. Two of them are velvet. I feel like these will be all I wear when it gets cold. So comfortable and stretchy. And reasonably priced. Just thought I would give the heads up since I feel like comfortable and warm pants are hard to find.

ASM- it was nice to basically take the week off and spend time with our family. Never miss too much around here, still pretty slow!
For those that recommended Old Navy for a cheap winter maternity coat, thank you! Mine came in in time for my first morning commute back after holiday and worked perfectly! I think I paid 30-40 for it.
- the laptop we ordered 10 days ago still hasn’t arrived. I called automated customer service and it said it should have been delivered last Wednesday. When I spoke to a human, he said for some reason it’s being shipped from Asia and he doesn’t know why. No timetable for delivery.
- unknowingly, my husband was talking to customer service at the same time and the story HE got was that it’s sitting in a warehouse in GA and they don’t know why. They credited us $25 for the inconvenience. Uh, thanks?
- DS melted down at preschool drop off
- my check engine light went on AGAIN after having the car serviced last week.
Can I quit life this week? How the hell is it only Tuesday?
DS was a terror this morning on the commute and drop off. It's his birthday though so I guess he can be angry if he wants to be!
I had bleeding around 30 weeks with DD, and I went to my OB. He sent me immediately to the hospital because I was having full blown contractions. They gave me a shot of Terbutaline to stop the contractions and kept me overnight.
I hope it’s nothing like that for you though!!
