  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Typical LP Length: Not sure

    Timing: Lots

Testing: I'm trying my hardest to wait until 12/1. I almost tested this morning even though I knew it would be negative. Then once I start testing, I can't stop.

R/R: We finished decorating the outside of the house and it makes me so happy. I love Christmas time.

    CS/Q: None

GTKY: What holiday tradition are you looking forward to next month? My husband grew up in Switzerland so we celebrate St. Nicholas Day on December 6th. Lots of yummy food and we do a Secret Santa.

  • @SkilledSailor I'm sorry about your back. Back pain is so miserable. I miss going to the tree farm! That was one of favorite memories as a child. We decided to buy a fake tree this year because of the clean up but it's just not the same.

  • @SkilledSailor Sorry about your back, hope if it keeps hurting you can get some relief from PT. Sorry about the BFN also but FX the meeting goes well!

@eleven_ @SkilledSailor share your decorations, I love seeing how people decorate!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 21/6

    Typical LP Length:12-13

    Timing: -5, -3, -2, O

Testing: Also trying to hold out until at least 12/1 but SS like crazy in the meantime   :#   I am the same, once I start testing it is hard not to POAS twice a day, I was ridiculous last cycle.

R/R: The four day weekend went by way too fast! Worked like 6 hours yesterday and realistically should work another 6ish today to be ready for tomorrow but I would much rather just watch football with DH all day. I did all our laundry yesterday though so at least that's done!

CS/Q: I can not for the life of my figure out how to share a non-thumb version of my chart, help? I am also confused by the dip yesterday at 5DPO, that is too early for an implantation dip right?

GTKY: What holiday tradition are you looking forward to next month? We are kind of skipping the holiday traditions this year since we are honeymooning from the 15th-25th but I am doing Secret Santa with my college friends which is always fun. Any suggestions for a professional (lawyer) 34 year old mother of three? I have my best friend from college this year so you would think it would be easy but I am struggling for ideas!

  • @SkilledSailor Cutting down our own tree is my favourite tradition as well, and a new one that we just started last year. Last year was my first cold Christmas, so I wanted to do all the things! Sorry about your back, definitely try and see a PT or a chiropractor if you can. Will be thinking of you on Tuesday!

@eleven_ Oh do you go all out with your outside decorations? We put up a couple strings of lights and are still working on our collection. Switzerland must have been beautiful at Christmas time!

    Month/Cycle: 6/6 (1 benched)

    CD/DPO: 19/5

    Typical LP Length:14

    Timing: -3, -2, -1

    Testing: Nope

R/R: DH is on duty again, so TW * I have DSS with me all day. I am pooped from his birthday yesterday. *TW So much laundry and cleaning. Pot roast in the slow cooker though.

CS/Q: I have decided to stop temping after O is confirmed. So nothing to see here.

GTKY: What holiday tradition are you looking forward to next month? Cutting down our tree! Which we will do next weekend. We take the dog and do the hot cocoa and everything. Last year the tree was enormous and took up half out living room. Our goal is to find one less invasive this year.
  • @darkstar42 All things crossed for you for tomorrow! My cats are such assholes with Christmas trees also, I have to totally avoid the lower half when putting ornaments on.

    Timing: O, +1

    Testing: 11/30

R/R: I mixed up the leftover sausage from making stuffing with the leftover taco meat and made a sausage taco. Unfortunately, it didn't taste that great.

    CS/Q: nothing

GTKY: What holiday tradition are you looking forward to next month? We might actually get to decorate outside this year! we have to check our rental agreement for the neighborhood, but I think we can do it! Otherwise, totally looking forward to Christmas baking and sugar cookie decorating.

@SkilledSailor - yay for chopping down the christmas tree! that's so much fun to do. What kind did you get? Hope your back feels better soon (and that you can get some PT!)

@eleven_ - St. Nicholas Day!! how awesome that you guys do that.

@legallykate - Some people just share a link, and those who get charts bigger either take a screenshot from their home page. I know for images, etc. i can resize the image using html, but haven't tried it with FF code, so not sure if/how that would work. I agree with @SkilledSailor, maybe some spa stuff, mani/pedi, massage? Some girl time away from the kids. :)

@nitnat007 - LOLing at the "less invasive this year". Hope you can get a quieter day!

@darkstar42 - SO excited for you! FX! Also, the cats. We have two, one of who is a kitty tornado. We don't decorate the last third of our tree. Anything below that line is easy prey for getting knocked off the tree. We're debating where to put it, our current furniture layout works well but we'd have to move something to get it in a more kitty-safe zone. I want to move the couch so it is kitty-safe, DH wants to put the tree in front of our bookcases (essentially creating kitty launch zone).

also, only a few precious ornaments (the ones my grandma made, etc.) go on the tree at the top. anything i'm worried about getting broken (and irreplaceable) won't go on.

  • @legallykate I have come to the conclusion that analyzing charts in the TWW is a mind F! I would get so excited when my temp would stay up high all the way through, look perfect and so promising. But then it drops the day before AF shows up. whomp whomp. I second the spa idea. Or wine club. Something along those lines.

@darkstar42 You are motivating me to get my crochet stuff out too. I have been wanting to get some new yarn to make a hat. Need to get on that.

@SkilledSailor Cutting it down can be a challenge (especially when the saw isn't the sharpest lol). But we loved it and the pup loved being out there with us. It was a full on adventure!

@catlady2015 In theory those tacos sound awesome! Too bad they didn't turn out well. Oh and you just reminded me that I have my mom's ornament that I need to put on the tree this year. Extremely delicate, hand painted from the inside with a very intricate setting. Will be our first year having it here.

@SkilledSailor I miss looking for a real tree, allergies don’t allow real in my house. Also feel better soon!
    @legallykate what’s your price target?
@nitnat007 you described your tree and I automatically thought about Christmas Vacation

  • *lurking, but I’ll probably join you ladies soon*

@darkstar42 wishing you lots of luck today!!!
  • Month/Cycle 1/1
    Cd/dpo : 37/5
    Typical lp: 10days
    Timing : not sure
Testing: trying to wait until Saturday at least but prob won't.

This is my first cycle ttc,  not even sure I ovulated as I didn't get a positive Lh, and my temps where all over the place.  Fertility friend said O occurred CD 32 so I'm going with that.  This is way more stressful than I imagined.

    Good luck everyone!
  • @hello_hoppy Hi there! And welcome (I see intro'ed a while back). There is a new thread that is created every day, this one is from Sunday. Feel free to jump into the one from today when it is up. TTC can be a frustrating process but the ladies here are a wealth of knowledge and support, definitely ask questions and stick around. GL  :)
