Booking our babymoon, yay!!

When I was 8 months pg with ds, we had a sudden desire to get away together as a family of 3 for one last time. My mom surprised us with an overnight stay at a local waterpark resort hotel that I had been checking out. It was soooo wonderful, we had a blast, and it was really special time for our little family.

Well, dh's mom and dad gave us a gift certificate for this same place LAST Christmas, and we've been saving it. We decided to go ahead and use it now, and thanks to special reduced rate days, we'll be able to get a two night stay out of it this time. It'll be our last hurrah as a family of four! I'm so excited. It's only a 25 minute drive from home, and it has a really nice little fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, a living room with fireplace and a separate bedroom for dh and I with a whirlpool tub.

And, as a special treat for me, I'm booking a prenatal massage at the spa this time. I've been planning on getting a massage for literally years now, I just always use the money for something for the kids instead at the last minute, so this time I'm going to indulge.

We're going in two weeks.
