Didn't see one of these yet. Thanks to the Friday ladies for the questions that I'm shamelessly stealing!
How far along are you? How big is baby?
Any early labor signs yet? (Just wondering for fun)
How are you feeling?
What's going on this week?
Rants/Raves/Questions:
GTKY: Happy holidays! Do you have a favorite movie that you like to watch at this time of year (Christmas/Hanukkah/New Years)?
Re: Saturday Ticker change - 11/18
I feel massive. Up until the past week or so I've still been moving around pretty well but now I'm struggling a lot more with things like picking items up off the floor. Sertraline appears to be helping so I feel better mood-wise. Oh, and the heartburn is awful!
Rave: got another US about a week ago because he was measuring big. According to that he was a little on the large side (68th percentile) but not so big that they really have concerns. It was great getting to see him again and the tech showed us where he had a little hair!
Rant: One of my friends is, IMHO, a really rude parent and, although her son is cute, I'm not crazy about having them over a lot. They were here the other day and just out of the blue she says, "oh I need to change him. I'm just gonna use your bed," walks into our bedroom, and goes to town without even putting down a changing pad. Really? WTF would make a normal person think that's ok? In the past when I've mentioned my opinions to DH he's been a but dismissive and not wanting to be judgmental since we don't have a kid yet, but this time he actually agreed with me at least.
I love White Christmas, but it has to be after Thanksgiving. I also enjoy goofy movies like The Santa Clause, but those aren't ones I HAVE to watch.
like people lose basic commen sense sometimes after having kids.
How far along are you? How big is baby?
34+1, babies are the size of butternut squash or something. Hella big basically.
Really uncomfortable 90% of the time. I’m exhausted, I have painful carpal tunnel, restless leg syndrome every night, and I can’t sleep. 3 more weeks!
I just have an NST test tomorrow, and then I’ll be chilling all week waiting for thanksgiving. The SECOND thanksgiving is over, I’ll be Christmasing the shit out of my house! I can’t waaaaaaiiiiiit!!!!!!
Just the regular 34 weeks pregnant complaints. I’m over it, but want them to stay cooking until Dec 9th. I’d rather them be safe in me than in the NICU.
Question: I’m thinking I may want to get a can of formula just in case I can’t get enough breastmilkgoing for the twins. Does anyone have a brand that they like?
Home for the Holidays is always my thanksgiving favorite. Once we put the tree up, we watch 1-2 Christmas movies a week. We always save National Lampoons Christmas for Christmas Eve. We watch that one with champagne and snuggles
37+1 Baby is as big as romaine lettuce
A little bit of everything - excited, a little scared - glad to be almost done with work (11 more days!) We just were approved for our new place (lost our place to an electrical fire a while back) so I'm hoping baby stays put for our home birth til we actually have a home lol
Did I mention we have a place to live now!? #Rave
We don't celebrate the holidays, BUT my Dad and I used to watch the A Christmas Story marathon when I was a kid so when I get the chance I always put it on for my girls - for nostalgia purposes
@breezybee if you sign up online with a lot of formula companies (Similac, Enfamil, etc.) they’ll send you samples that might even be enough to supplement with if your own milk supply is decent, and if not at least you can try them and see what you like. I got a pretty good amount and just signed my husband up so we’ll probably get more.
Hmmm there are so many good ones but I don’t have a favorite. I’ve been slacking the last few years on making time for them but I suspect this year I’ll be watching a lot!
@breezybee - I agree with @Piccola1988 on signing up to get free samples. We tried a couple different kinds of formula with DS and ended up going with Enfamil (It was what his stomach seemed to tolerate).
How far along are you? How big is baby? 35 wks, a cute rabbit.
Totally silly, but I love Elf.
Due date 12/9
I can't figure out the pregnancy countdown tickers, but I do know how to make a signature!
#40andpregnant
As of 12/15/2017, my new hashtag is #41 and pregnant!
How far along are you? How big is baby?
My favorite has got to be either "This Christmas" or any cartoons that my daughter enjoys that i can watch with her
I had to cancel a dentist appointment AND a chiropractor appointment today so that I could just rest in bed, and I got a letter in the mail saying an insurance appeal was denied, so I have to pay full price for something that should be considered covered under an "emergency service" provision. Insurance companies are so annoying. ALL the other services were covered except this one consultation with a surgeon. Why can't they just be reasonable?
Rave: It's a short work week! Yay! I like my job, but it gets tiring commuting all the time. On Friday my coworkers threw me a surprise shower. I was really surprised, especially when I saw my husband there as well. They bought us adorable children's books and a hefty sum on an amazon card. My supervisor sewed a hoodie towel with duckies on it, which is very sweet.
Questions: How close together are your BH contractions, @piccola1988and @mammaharvey ? Mine are often only about 2-3 minutes apart, but they tend to go away after about 30 minutes-ish.
Hope you all have a great week and your babies/bodies stay well!
Just Braxton hicks contractions
im feeling kind of anxious about how big the baby is. Anxious about how much I've been working. Anxious about something bad happening to the baby after we have made it thus far.
dr appointment on the 1st and then baby shower east coast tour. One baby shower at 1pm at moms house then second baby shower at Friend's house at 8p
hmm I don't have one but we usually watch a movie on Kwanzaa bc we forget what to do and what the different days mean
