Our last name is one syllable and similar to Dirks. I was really loving Christopher David for a little boy. Christopher has always been a favorite of mine, and David is my dad's middle name. I love the way it all sounds together, AND DH likes it too. BUT, while Christopher David sounds great with LN, I am not so sure about Chris Dirks. Is the double "s" too much?

Chris Dirks is a little choppy with the double S, but it's really not that big of a deal. And definitely not enough of a reason to not use a name that you love!
