TTC After a Loss

Intro

Hi Ladies,

After a few weeks of lurking, I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself.

TW** Loss and child mentioned **TW

DH and I have been TFAS since April 2017. My first mc happened June 5th, 2017, it was diagnosed as a blighted ovum and had a nmc at 7 weeks. My second mc happened August 17th, 2017, diagnosed as a chemical pregnancy, and had a nmc at 4.5 weeks. My last mc happened on November 5th, 2017. Still no diagnosis yet, but had a nmc at 7 weeks. We are currently benched until all the results come in, which should be around the end of December.

DH and I are now going through all the testing for RPL, and I will have a HSG test sometime in December, just waiting for my cycle to start back up again. My OB thinks that there's a high likelihood that all the tests will come back as normal because we had zero issues conceiving and no issues while I was pregnant with my DD.

All you ladies seem very supportive and it will be nice to have people who understand all the highs and lows of TTCAL.

  • Thanks for the welcome ladies. RPL is something a lot of people don't understand, so I'm glad I found this board.
  • I'm so sorry for your losses. I have had two b2b miscarriages in the last year (one at 9w, one at 6w) and am also TFAS. It is definitely frustrating when you know your body has done what it's supposed to do before, but you have no answers as to why it's not happening again.
