Hey ladies! I tried to whip out a Thankful Thursday a few times over the last couple years but it seems most appropriate today seeing as it’s American Thanksgiving! My Canadian self is jealous of y’all. Anyway... Why don’t we spit out some things some things we’re thankful for!
I’ll go first!
I’m thankful for so many things. My family, my health, my IRL friends and my Bumpies but specifically @bethennyfrankel. I don’t know where I’d be without her. She keeps me sane, strong and is ready to kick my ass from (assumably) across the globe.
I'm thankful for my husband. Also for our jobs, since we get to work together from home and we are so close. We aren't perfect and that definitely comes out sometimes spending so much time together, but he is an amazing and very loving husband.
Super thankful for the place I live. We live in the beautiful forest near a small town but not too far from a city. We have a great church family that is a super little community.
Thankful for this board too as I don't know that many people in this stage of life and I love to hear all of your stories.

I forgot you were in Canada, @Dilynne you can celebrate with us!!! ❤❤❤
I am thankful for my / DHs (extended) family. Of course it's not perfect, and we all have our quirks and issues, but all in all, I think we're pretty great, and it's so nice to see everyone we can over the holidays!
I am thankful for our care team. So many people have all worked so hard, studied and practiced for YEARS! to become experts at what they do every day. And they have all come together to work in concert in helping us get our baby (ies). I just think that is pretty Awesome, when you think about it.
I'm thankful for my awesome husband who took care of things around the house while I was away for work last week. I'm also thankful for giant Cadbury chocolate bars and my boss who essentially forced me to take tomorrow off of work. I'm so thankful that I have a pretty flexible job that allows me to take off during the holidays to spend time with my hubby. Hope all the ladies in the U.S. are having an excellent Thanksgiving!

This was our first Thanksgiving without my brother, he passed 11 months ago, so the last few days have been hard. But, it was a great Thanksgiving. Honestly, it was the first Thanksgiving that felt like Thanksgiving since my grandma died 5 years ago, which I am thankful for, because we really need it. It helped, I think, that we had "adopted" a retired co-worker of my father's into the family. I am thankful for how happy he seemed to be with children and be with family for the first holiday in years. I am thankful for my family in general. I am thankful for the first time my DS actually ate Thanksgiving dinner with the family. He is autistic and generally doesn't eat. He had pizza, but still, he spent the entire meal in the kitchen with the family. I am also thankful for my returning health and my wonderful and supportive doctor.
I am thankful for my very best friend, she is such a wonderful person, she is kind, funny and caring. I am thankful for my parents. DH and I made he decision to buy a bigger house this year, well, ours sold and we months later are still staying at my parents house because we can't find anything we love. We recently made the decision to buy a rental property, which will keep us here for a bit longer and they are not only supportive, but are thrilled. As a bonus, being here helps me with being sick and missing work, plus I have so much help with the kids and preparing dinner. I am thankful that despite the adversity of this year, I feel like I could go on and on all night about what I am thankful for.
I am thankful for this place we can come together and share our struggles and joys in this crazy world!
@holly321 I’m so sorry about your brother. This was the 17th Thanksgiving without my sister(we were 11 months apart) so i know how hard this one was for you. The firsts are the worst.
I'm late to the party, but I'm so thankful for MH and all the support we've given each other in general, but especially through this last year of transitions and stress. I'm thankful that we have plenty of good food to eat, a roof over our heads, and good jobs with health insurance.
I'm also incredibly thankful for this community. So glad I found all of you!
