I've been waiting to post this for years waiting for DH to be ready and life to fall into place.
I am prepared to have bumps in the road, I've always had a feeling I might need some help. I have also been off birth control for 2 years without as much as a tiny pregnancy scare (altough not been "sealing the deal" when baby dancing, if you know what I mean). I was dx'd with PCOS and I don't have a thyroid. But I will go into this full of hope and positivity that my worries are misplaced and that this will come true for us sooner rather than later!
I've been charting for about a year and a half, so I'd like to think I'm able to predict my very unpredictable cycle with mild confidence and educated guesstimation! The Big O is expected 12/1 with AF expected 12/13.
Anyone else here just starting out and want to be together from day 1 on this journey?

I would love to be able to join you in just starting, you seem very happy and excited. unfortunately, I starts about a year ago and now medically can't conceive for 5 months, so there's that.
Anyway, please read the threads at the top that explain how this board works, introduce yourself and the newbie thread and feel free to join our community, generally one off threads like this are frowned upon.
I’ll skip the snark since it’s the holiday... OP, read the pinned threads at the top for newcomers. Lurk a bit, intro in the newbie thread and then join in the daily posts. One-off posts like this are generally frowned upon. Welcome!
Oh man, things have changed around here. I can’t add a gif on mobile with a link ?? Too bad. I had this great “Me too” after 15 months and then “I wish I were a llama” thing planned.
Anyways, OP, congratulations I hope your stay is short and sweet ..........

I'll never understand why people want a big group of others that are all just starting to TTC at the same time because a) people who have already started TTC are a great source of information b) with the frequency of loss/IF there will be at least 1 person that is left behind and (from experience) it really fracking sucks to watch your friends go through pregnancy together and even have second babies while you are still waiting for a take-home baby
Well, I most certainly have been frowned upon, haven't I?
just FYI, I've been lurking here for over 2 years. In the welcome newbie thread it clearly states: "4. Create a new thread with a quick intro about yourself when you are ready to join in the conversation."
So sorry that I offended everyone. Good luck to you all and glad to be of service.

@leafyarch There's some conflicting info on how to intro and it looks different on different bump forums, but if you lurk this board specifically you'll see that we have a weekly intro thread where newbies can introduce themselves. This is partly because reading intros from excited new community members can be hard for folks with IF or those who are having hard ttc days. When all excited intros are in one thread, we can just avoid clicking it. That's harder to do if everyone creates their own intro thread. It also keeps the board from getting too cluttered. That said, please do introduce yourself on the intro thread and jump into the dailies (either WTO or TWW, depending where you are in your cycle).
