How far along are you? 6 + 5 today!

How are things going? Generally pretty good. This is the first day I have felt continuously nauseous.. which is reassuring in a weird way.

Appointments upcoming/recent? Nov 30! Next week! Never been so excited for a doctors appointment!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Very excited about the long weekend! Celebrating Thanksgiving with my family and then Christmas and gift exchange on Friday with my family!

GTKY: Do you participate in Black Friday shopping? I will look at the ads but I'm not looking for anything in particular. If I don't see anything I won't go out. I am hoping there will be cell phone deals, because I need a new phone!

Pretty good I would say other than always being tired and cold.

11-28-17, cannot wait, took the whole day off work.

I am so ready for Thanksgiving! We are telling parents and close family, and I am pretty excited to tell them.

No, I do not like crowds! I'll be working on Friday anyway! haha.

How are things going? Meh...Woke up lastnight having to pee really bad. When I laid back down, I had extreme nausea, which caused me to miss sleep. Just irritable. Don't want to be touched. Feeling a bit of a head cold coming on.

Appointments upcoming/recent? Not until 12/11 (counting down the days)

Rants/Raves/Questions? Have i mentioned I'm really irritable? Even with myself. Maybe I need to go on time out.

GTKY: Do you participate in Black Friday shopping? No way, Jose! I loathe crowds. I work across the street from an outside mall and the traffic is just horrendous. People's basic knowledge on driving and courtesy are thrown out the window during these times. (see! Irritable)

How are things going?
Great so far! I’ve had a few minor symptoms but everything is awesome so far!

My first appointment isn’t until Dec 13 - three weeks away

Rants/Raves/Questions?
I want to tell my mom and my friend at work SO BAD but we agreed to wait until Christmas because we’ll have had and ultrasound by then and I’ll be 9 weeks. It’s driving me nuts waiting!!

GTKY: Do you participate in Black Friday shopping?
Normally in some fashion I do. We tend to shop online Thursday night and go out mid morning on Friday just to look around. That’s when all the crazies have gone home to nap lol

Pretty good, the past week my stomach has hurt every day and I've had a lot of food aversions, but haven't thrown up yet!

My first OB appointment will be Nov 29th! I went at 6 weeks and got an US, but we didn't discuss anything about pregnancy.

I think we're telling the family now versus waiting until next month!

GTKY: Do you participate in Black Friday shopping?

I typically go with my MIL and SIL, but don't buy anything. This year DH and I are looking for a nice DSLR camera so we might buy that. But most likely I'll just be there to grab one of the 40 things my MIL is after.

How are things going? Good, I'm tired and bloated. Haven't had any MS yet so I'm feeling lucky...hopefully it doesn't creep up on me. My mom said she didn't have any when she was pregnant with me so I'm hoping that's a good sign (or maybe I am just dreaming).

Appointments upcoming/recent? None - first US is January 5.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: you guys - go out now and purchase a Bella Band. I'm in love - it is so comfy on my belly and I don't have to button my pants (because if you're anything like me, you're bloated beyond belief/relief).

GTKY: Do you participate in Black Friday shopping? Not usually but DH is buying a new TV this year... *eyeroll*

How are things going?
A little less tired than I have been, nauseous today, but had two mostly nausea free days in a row, so I'm trying not to complain! My breasts hurt so badly, I literally wait until I'm climbing into bed before taking the bra off just to avoid the pain as long as possible.

Not until 12/5!
Rants/Raves/Questions?
We're having a hard time keeping our mouths shut about it, not willing to either of our parents until Christmas because our families will be insane about it and we want to retain our identities for as long as possible. I can't stand being the center of attention or being fawned over, and as a couple we willingly crushed our parents hopes of grandkids for years by purposely being part of the child-free set, until now, this is going to create chaos!

How far along are you?
I feel like I’m going back in time- had an appointment and am now at 6 weeks 2 days- I was 3 off which the doctor said is fine. So I’m not stressing- it bumped my EDD to July 15.

How are things going?
Things are going okay, I had my first appointment and U/S so now my pregnancy is validated and for some reason now I’m all freaked out. I’m worrying if I’ll be a good mom, will my relationship with my DH (married 5 years) change... I know it will be im stressing about that for some reason.

Appointments upcoming/recent?
The appointment I had was great- they only problem is I’m overweight and my mom has Diabetes and had Gestational Diabetes when she has me- so they want me to do the Glucose test early. Like in 2 weeks. The good side is they are monitoring it, the bad side is that would mean “no carbs or sweets” for the rest of the pregnancy. I have been eating well and have actually lost some weight just from changing my diet for baby! But I’m just nervous about that.

Rants is I’m starting to get MS at weird times.... ugh.

I used to love it- this year I’m planning on staying home and watching the madness on the news!

@MrsMiller8588 - DH has off, and there's a TV he really wants for Best Buy, so he'll be going on this own while I sleep! haha. Other than that I'll be looking at online deals!
@zombiehoohaa - Couldn't not agree more! People are crazy on black Friday! Last year I almost got hit by someone even though I had the right of way to turn! So I just flipped them the bird and drove off!
@ashbub714 - It is a really struggle to not tell everyone. I want to so bad, but have been holding back. Soon I keep telling myself, soon!

How are things going? Pretty good overall. Good energy, still love food.

Appointments upcoming/recent? Mini dental cleaning next month, still haven't heard from my OB-GYN.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Bloat Rant. I didn't think that my body would change this quickly! Today I am putting away all of my clothes that already don't fit

Apparently I will be gaining loads of weight in my hips/butt. I really thought that I could still wear my regular clothes until New Years...that won't be happening. It's hard not spending extra money when I can't fit my ass into most of my pants. (And I'm always cold, so winter-time skirt wearing is not happening)

GTKY: Do you participate in Black Friday shopping? Nope! I prefer Cyber Monday in general, but honestly I hate the holiday bank acct drain, so I shop year-round and finished shopping last month

We don't have family in Kansas so I still get to spend more money on shipping all of the gifts.

Same here! I was married once before for ~7 years, and my former MIL didn't drop the subject about being a grandma for five years. FIVE YEARS. Luckily my new MIL is amazing (and she already has a teenage grandkid), so she's zero pressure. I have no idea what my parents are going to do though, probably scream on the phone, so I might want to record a FaceTime session with them

(Individually though, they re-married ages ago).

How far along are you?: 6 weeks and 5 days!

How are things going? Ok. I'm super tired and I burp literally every 5 minutes. I'm slowly getting my appetite back but still can't look at salad greens w/o gagging.

Appointments upcoming/recent? First appointment next week! I'm super excited and hope I'll get to hear the heartbeat. I hope that I'm at least somewhat close to my (hand calculated) EDD (7/12)

Rants/Raves/Questions? My back is already starting to bother me and I can't get comfortable in bed. Just another reason to force my husband to replace this raggedy mattress.

@ajsanders-2 How do you plan to tell your parents/family?
@catftm2018 I'm glad you had a good appointment! Sorry to hear it's bringing a whole new set of worries but I am sure I will be the same way!
@gspmom21 We live in the same town as both of our families so we can pretty much make it to all holidays with both families! Thursday we will go to my parents for awhile and then to his sister's house for the evening.
@ashbub714 I have told a lot of people. We are very open and pretty much everyone knew we were trying and had struggled trying and had started infertility testing. It's been a lot of fun having people know and I know I will have a great support system if anything were to go wrong. There is no way I could ever pretend this baby didn't exist.

Also @catftm2018 I've never heard of the glucose test that early! My mom had gestational diabetes for one of her pregnancies (not me). Does that put me at higher risk?

@MrsMiller8588 I am also overweight- so I think that might be why.... but I’m really not 100% sure. My mom has diabetes- so I think it’s just a precaution. Im sure your doctor will discuss your family history with you and decide after that.

@MrsMiller8588 - We plan on telling my parents buy given them a housewarming gift, since they just purchased a house, so I have some fun laundry stuff from Scentsy that I am going to give her, and put a onesie with a hat, and pants that says snuggle this muggle (because I am a huge Harry Potter nerd!), for DH's parents I am not sure what he wants to do for his Dad and Step-mom this will be their 1st grandchild. So I am letting him figure that out. For his Mom and step-dad they already have 2 grandchildren well technically they have another one on the way from my sister-in-law (we just found out about that one recently) so we are going to say something along the lines of 'how does it feel to be a grandparent for the 3rd, wait 4th time, and see if they catch on. I am pretty excited/nervous. Not sure why. I know my mom is going to cry her eyes out and probably my siblings as well since I am going to text them a picture of the onesie I mentioned above with Coming July 2018 - Baby Sanders.
