We have the NT scan this afternoon. I am a little anxious, hoping everything goes well. I finally feel like I my energy is returning a little. I stayed up past 9pm last night so that is a good sign!

Not yet - hopefully in the next week or so we will know, once the blood work from my appointment today comes back.

I can't eat much without getting serious gas pains, by the time they subside I'm starving so I end up eating a normal sized meal, get gas pain again

I'm 13 weeks and due May 29th. Anyone else feeling like things are going slowly?
We haven't found out the sex yet. It'll probably be the beginning of January before we know. I have an appointment on 12/4 so I'll probably schedule the scan at that appointment.
I have this week off and it's so nice! I'm a teacher and we're all so tired. It's been great to sleep in and take naps. lol
I love Christmas movies! Elf, Frosty, Polar Express, Charlie Brown Christmas
@MLD912 I have been having wicked bad pains, they woke me up multiple times last night where I thought I had to use the bathroom, but now just painful gas.
@doraleigh35 I'm finding my energy is coming back in the morning and I'm waking up an hour earlier than I need to, but come 8 or 9 at night in ready to crash.
Good luck to both of you at your scans,as much fun as it is seeing baby I know the anxiety leading up to it sucks.
How far along are you? When is your due date? 13 weeks, I'm going with 5/29 based on ovulation because of the 4 us I have had, each one gives me a new date in either direction.

Team Green if I have my way, mh is pestering me to know, and I told him when he had the ability to carry a child and squeeze something the size of a watermelon out of him he can decide. He rebutted sometimes he has big poop.

Rave : it's Thanksgiving break and I can sleep whenever I want for the next five days!
Rant : we're flying mil out for Thanksgiving and plan on announcing to her. I assumed after doing Thanksgiving with her and bil we would go see my family who is in state to announce, dh tells me today if I'm flying my mom out why would I leave her to see your family I don't get to see her as often as you can see your family they live in state (all a 3 hour drive away). For an FYI I haven't seen my family since August at my cousins wedding, and the day before that we saw mil and we spend the entire summer of the seeing birds family. He's gone to maybe 5 family events of mine in the 10 years we've been together.
I had an appt today, we heard garbanzos heart beat @ 165 bpm so that was good. I have a follow up us to check on what they think is a fibroid in a couple weeks and my midwife couldn't give me any more information than I already knew from Google so that was a little irratating.
We're scheduling our anatomy scan for the first week in January so that's exciting.
I'm still really nervous to announce.

We haven’t yet and I wanted to be team green but my husband isn’t big on the idea. We just told our kids and our daughter really wants to know as soon as possible too so I think more likely than not we will find out.

We told our children (6 and 4) and they are both over the moon excited about the baby. My 6 year old has become super protective of me and has been working on a list of names. My 4 year old keeps asking me where the baby is. His lack of concept of time is going to make for a long 6 months for him.

Love Actually- I love to watch it every year while I wrap presents.

Yup! Baby girl! DS was hoping for a sister, and we are two and through, so it’s exciting to have one of each.

No appts until early dec. heading home tomorrow with DS (DH unfortunately works thanksgiving and every other day this week). In laws will be here the following week, so it will be busy!

the holiday is my favorite cheesy/lovey holiday movie. I also like all the old school cartoons- Rudolph, Frosty,, Jack Frost, The Island of Misfit Toys...

Did you find out the sex of LO yet? If not, are you planning to find out or are you team green? We know one for sure one is a boy based on NIPT. Anatomy scan is Jan 3rd but will maybe find out sooner. Will have an appointment around Christmas time.
What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? Any upcoming appointments? Next appointment is Monday. Feeling ok, some days better than others. Was diagnosed with a SCH at 11 weeks so have had an ER visit plus extra doctor visits for ultrasounds. Babies always doing great which is good. We shared the news with my in-laws this week and telling my parents & siblings Friday, super excited! Waiting to tell relatives, friends etc until Christmas or after the new year after our level 2 ultrasound.

We didn't find out the sex yet but made the appointment to do so last week! We are going to a private ultrasound tech the week before Christmas! I can't wait!

I'm feeling good this week! Energy is back up, nausea is limited. Heartburn is coming in full force though! I told my co workers this week and my fifth grade class! My students were so excited!! I have one who tried to talk to the baby and another who reminded me not to drink alcohol over Thanksgiving. Also, Thanksgiving! I love this holiday! I love eating and spending time with my family. I can't wait to eat soooooo much food tomorrow!
My next appointment isn't until December 4th.

Probably National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. When I was growing up, we always watched it every Christmas Eve with my grandparents, cousins, aunt, and uncle. To this day, I still watch it every year with my husband to carry on the tradition!
