Hi! My name is Ashley, Let me start off by telling you a little bit about myself...I have been with my DH for 7 yrs married for 2... We are both 32 yrs old with no children... We have been TTC for 5 yrs on and off...The first year my OBGYN diagnosed me with PCOS and put me on BCPS to regulate my cycles.. I have never been good at taken them and so after a few missed pills I decided to wait for AF to begin a new pack...As I am waiting I start to experience pregnancy symptoms (I could smell oranges from across the room at a restaurant..I will never forget) and took a HPT... To my surprise I got my first ever BFP...Needless to say I told everyone whether I knew them or not...BIG MISTAKE! ...A week later I experienced bleeding that led to a missed MC... After having to "un-tell" everyone I found out I had an abnormal papsmear and precancerous cells on my cervix and needed to have the LEEP Procedure done...Once that was taken care of we decided to wait a while and just not prevent...My cycles are unpredictable and have lasted up to 42 days, and yet month after month I would POAS and get that devastating BFN....Since then we have had 2 more BFPs both after a round of BCPS and both ending... One from BO and the other an EP... I was given Methotrexate for the Eptopic...8 months later we started to see our RE...After some blood work my RE said my VIT D was low but everything else looked good (besides my BMI) .. He has me taking 4/2.5 mg of Letrozole CD 3-7...I am now on CD 6 and looking forward to communicating with other ladies going thru this Bumpy journey of Life..I hope I am able to share my support and experience to anyone in need... I wish everyone the best of luck to a short and sweet stay here in trouble TTC

    Hi Ashley :)
    Welcome. Your story sounds a bit similar to mine :) I also have PCOS and am on Letrozole (5mg CD3-7). I'm currently on CD30 (13dpo), in the dreaded TWW.  Are you doing timed intercourse?
    **TW** I recently had my first BFP and lost it at around 8 weeks (mmc). My big memory from that was being able to smell cucumbers from across the room haha so I understand your orange thing!

    I hope you find the support you need here, and that you don't have to be here too long :)

    @tops-2 Thank you....Yes we are doing TI...Next Sunday I have an appt for an ultrasound to check follical growth.. I will then be told when to take trigger shot and progesterone suppositories... I have never given myself not anyone else a shot and a little nervous about that... hopefully DH will do it ha ha!!

    (Not sure what happened to rest of post).....That super smell during pregnancy is unforgettable... I stalked your post on the most recent weekly check-in so you wouldn't need to repeat to much and I see you had two large follicles on 5mg....Did you get a trigger shot or suppositories? Sorry to hear about your loss and most recent BFNs...Its still early and your not out until AF arrives...GL and FX on a BFP!!!!

    Thanks :)
    My doctor doesn't use trigger shots with me - just monitoring. And my progesterone has always been really good, so I've never needed any additional.
    AF arrived this afternoon, so I'm out for this month :(

    @ash274539 Welcome!  Sorry you have to be here but hoping you get the support you need! I'm in a similar boat as you and @tops-2.  We have been doing fertility treatments for awhile now and IUI didn't seem to work (my DH swimmers are top notch and my internal workings seem to be functioning the way they are supposed to, just can't seem to fertilize!).  So our next step is IVF (we are currently saving for that as it is all OOP for us - hoping to get started in February or March) and in the meantime we are doing timed intercourse and the doctor has me on Letrozole as well - 5mg days 4-8.  Just got AF this weekend so unfortunately this month is out - hoping for a Christmas positive pregnancy test!!!

    Hi! @thothscribe81 Thank you! I am glad I found this community of supporting ladies...I am only on CD 7 so not that far ahead of you.. Hopefully you will get KU by Christmas and be able to use that money elsewhere
