How far along are you? How big is baby? 36 weeks! Which is apparently a papaya? We must just have small papayas out here in the Midwest because this size comparison confuses the hell out of me.

Any early labor signs yet? (Just wondering for fun) Nope, not even a little bit.

How are you feeling? I am feeling okay, just kind of ready for the end. My heartburn/reflux are really bothering me and I am struggling with my Gestational Diabetes.

What's going on this week? Not much, we are putting up our Christmas stuff this weekend and my two year old is going to be elated!

GTKY: Happy holidays! Do you have a favorite movie that you like to watch at this time of year (Christmas/Hanukkah/New Years)? I am feeling especially festive this year and can't wait to dive into my favorite Christmas movies. I love the Family Stone, Love Actually, and ELF!!

36 weeks, the size of a large bag of chips apparently

Any early labor signs yet? (Just wondering for fun)

Not dilated at all and cervix is not softening based on last weeks check; I have had (TMI) diarrhea since Thursday and I have heard that's an early sign of labor but not putting stock into it. I would be (pleasantly) shocked if I went into labor naturally but I just don't think I will.

How are you feeling?

Not great. The TMI above has caused me to be a bit dehydrated and I can't keep up with water intake so I have a splitting headache and Tylenol hasn't even touched it. Nausea and vomiting has returned. My sugars have been weird with the insulin and I'm exhausted. Overall I'm just done but I know it's early and I know he needs to cook more so im just gonna suck it up and take it day by day

What's going on this week?

Taking DS to a sibling prep class in the morning and then to see Santa which is one of my favorite things of the season! It helps that he has always loved Santa. Then I have an OB appt Monday, and BPP's next Tuesday and Friday. Not even sure what we are doing Thanksgiving. DH works this year. So we are either going to my IL's or staying home and relaxing. Looking forward to watching the Macy's day parade on TV! I usually bartend the night before and get home really late so i tend to sleep in. This is the first year I'm not bartending the night before in almost 14 years.

Christmas Story! We spent the night before Christmas growing up, wrapping presents and watching it over and over again. I do love Elf too!

36 weeks, she measured 6.8lbs last Friday.

Nope. He didn’t check me last week since I’ve had no signs and head is still high.

How are you feeling?

So tired. My back hurts and I still haven’t pooped.

What's going on this week?

Appointment on Tuesday. I’m going to try and get the Christmas decor out tomorrow. I only woke Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Woohoo! C section is scheduled for 12/8. I only have 9 more days of work!

So many. Elf, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, and I am a hallmark junky this time of year. Hahaha

@dkizz82 are you taking a stool softener? I have to take one everyday or I would have gone the last 5 months with no pooping....even taking one per day I only poop every 2-3 days.

How far along are you? How big is baby?

37 weeks. He measured 5.5lbs like 3 weeks ago, so I can only imagine what he weighs now eep!

ugh yes. Contractions for the last week, nothing timetable, baby is def low, but no spotting or loss of mucus plug (that I know of...) and on Monday I was not dilated at all.

How are you feeling?

So uncomfortable at night. I feel like I finally got some energy back during the day, but night time is torture, everything hurts

What's going on this week?

Appointment on Monday. The contractor PROMISED our washer and dryer will be installed and functional before thanksgiving.....I can’t wait to actually do laundry at home again!!

Rants/Raves/Questions:

I thought I had everything wrapped up at work and could spend next week doing mindless and unimportant tasks, but my boss decided to have a freak out today and sprang a ton of unnecessary work on me that included closing client cases where I’d already told the client they would still get services, just from another nurse in my department....now I have to call them and tell them “sorry, my boss doesn’t think you need our services anymore”. I really hope I go into labor this weekend and he ends up having to figure out my caseload and deal with it....he literally took a completely resolved situation and made it an utter mess today.

A Christmas Story! Although, growing up we also always watched the Rudolph and Charlie Brown TV specials. I’m pretty excited to watch those with our baby, even if he has zero idea what they are haha! (And yes, I know, no screentime till kiddo is 2, but I’m sure he will sleep through most of it anyway)

@Marley629 @dkizz82 yeah, that was meant to be sarcastic. That and no co-sleeping are the two “parent teaching” parts of my job that we all chuckle at.
