I'm going to go shopping at Carter's, Target, and Bath & Body Works. I'm hoping to score some great deals on baby clothes and some larger size items for my DD since I've been slacking on stocking up. I'm going to Target specifically for a new waffle maker for my mom since that's what she wants for Xmas. Bath and body works is more for me and then I'll go shopping at random stores if my Mom needs me to get presents since she is working.
I love shopping at this time because I'm able to get Christmas and Birthday presents. It's also a great people watching event
I hate shopping with crowds. I used to do Black Friday shopping waiting in line for things to open and everything, but everything I wanted was always gone so quickly. Now I just do internet shopping this time of year. I am already almost done Christmas shopping. I will check out what deals bbb and Bru have going online though.
DH and I started a tradition while we were dating (actually, I think he did this before we dated, too) where we'd go clothes shopping for ourselves at JC Penney on Black Friday. He stocks up on work shirts, I buy a new pair of boots. I had never done BF shopping before that!
This year we're doing Thanksgiving at family's house in a rural area, about an hour from any big stores, so we'll be looking for online deals. I already bought a pair of boots, and am looking for a good price on an Apple Watch for DH this year. DD's birthday is at the end of January, so I'll be looking for anything Peppa Pig-, Lego-, or Little People- related on sale for birthday and Christmas. We're also considering buying a new swing for the baby, so we're on the lookout for deals on those!
@gymmonkey95 What is the Bath and Body Works sale? I shop their semi-annual sale in January and June to stock up on foaming hand soap and wallflowers, which are about $3 a piece, I think. Is BF better?

I always mix up black Friday and cyber Monday, lol, since in my head it's all just post-thanksgiving deals. Last time I went black Friday shopping was 2 years ago with my SIL who loves to shop. But maybe we'll hit up BBB or Babies R Us for some baby stuff. Anyone been to the baby stores on Black Friday? Are the crowds any better than at a mall? (BTW I avoid our most popular mall from November to January because the parking is absurd and people are rude!)
I love Black Friday. I will stand in a mega line for way too long for a deal that's not really that great. Lol. I just love doing it every year. This year I'm probably only going to Target. I don't really have all night to run around because my DH's family will be at my house and I don't want to ditch the whole night. Target is a mile away, so I don't feel too bad sneaking out for a bit. I plan on getting boots and clothes for DD, possibly a Kindle if I can swing it for my mom, and plain black t shirts for DH. (Basically all he wears.) As far as toys go, I honestly have no idea what to get DD. I don't want anything big, just a couple small things. She will be 16 months at Christmas. Any ideas? Throw em out for me!
Going to best buy and toys r us and probably target. It is my tradition with my sister and we work well together to get in and get out. I miss the days of waiting in line with hot cocoa until 5 in the morning talking with strangers around us and commiserating about the hunt for the deal lol. Given this was before I had DD who is now 2, but we always have a blast and stock up on movies and get Christmas presents that we may not be able to otherwise... we do some stuff online and I have the rule of no Kohls on black Friday ever again as it is always insane and not worth it lol. Ironic that we love black Friday as we both have horrible social anxiety triggered by crowds, but we don't take anyone else with us who we have to slow down for lol.
My sisters and I use to go BF shopping every year as a tradition till they started opening on Thursday instead. We have too many family events to go to stores at 6pm... one year the stores were opening at 4pm...on Thursday. I haven’t been since DS was born. So it’s been 4 years.
we would totally wait in line at 4am and shop all night. It was so fun. But this year I’m sticking with online shopping for sure
@eggplantface I can't remember the exact deals as I didn't go last year but it's usually pretty close to semi annual if I remember correctly and they have a bag that you can get for $40 once you spend a certain amount. Also if you have coupons you can stack them and get an even better deal!
I haven’t really done Black Friday shopping since I usually work that day, but DH is going to try to get a nice camera. Not sure if he’s going to go to Target or get it off Amazon, but that’s our Christmas present to ourselves. We want a good camera (that’s not our phones) to take pictures of LO since this is our first.

I think I remember seeing Target’s sneak peak Black Friday ad had apple watches in it

@hms1219 awesome, thank you!! the nurse and I were talking about smart watches when I went to my appt this week-- she said she got a great deal on hers at Target on Black Friday last year
I did a bunch of shopping this weekend at target when they had 25% off toys. I alway goes out Black Fridays with my 92 year old grandmother. We do kohls, target, old navy, sams club and a few others. I need to get some clothes at Gymboree for gifts and my dd. I also need a winter coat.
I'd love to go, but we're getting our basement finished...merry Christmas! I've finished shopping for DS already...he wanted mostly Thomas trains, which are cheaper on amazon than tru. Plus, I can't even grocery shop without my hips giving out anymore. I don't have the stamina to stand in line 6 months pregnant. I love going to target, kohls, and Penney's on bf.
