Hey guys!! So a question I just got my AMH results back and it’s 1.39......is this good or bad?? My provider uploaded the result into my online portal and didn’t give me any additional information, so I don’t know what is low or high???
It all depends on your age really... I think your AMH is probably great for 40+, normal for 35-40 and low if you are under 30. However, its just a number and it should be evaluated in conjunction with FSH and AFC numbers too. Best wishes!

Also there's new research that suggests it doesn't matter as much as previously thought. My AMH is amazing but my track record is not. Take some D3 and it will go up. That shouldn't happen if it's a pure indicator of ovarian reserve.

I am 34 and my AMH was 1.5 when I last had it done (at 33). I was told by my RE that it is low for my age. My number is in the normal range for a woman who is 38-40 years old, not 34. So, at 31, your number seems on the low side. It's not everything though and should be interpreted along with your FSH and AFC to get a better idea of your ovarian reserve.

That’s annoying that they posted the number without counseling you on it and without any way to interpret it. My AMH was 1.42 last year when I was 39 - so normal for my age. BUT you likely have better egg quality on your side because of your age. Like JamieH2000 and tosh24 said, it’s just one number that should be evaluated alongside the others.

Agreed with all of the above. My AMH is 4.17 and I’m 37. Did you get any of your other test for you CD3 tests back? You should definitely consult with you RE to get a better understanding of what that number means along with the rest of the tests.
I met with my RE today she said that the 1.39 it totally normal for my age.....so many mixed opinions about it...I know it can be super high if you have PCOS....I am transferring to another RE in December to start IVF treatment so we’ll revisit in again then I guess thanks for you help guys
