High Risk Check-In w/o 11/14

Hello ladies! Welcome to the weekly high risk check-in. If you're considered high risk for any reason, feel free to jump in :)

How far along are you?

Why are you high-risk?

Any additional monitoring or testing this week?

Any concerns/news currently?

What positives are you seeing with your pregnancy today?

GTKY: High risk related - did you know you would be high risk prior to conceiving? If so, how long did it take you to reach the stage of actually trying for a child?

Re: High Risk Check-In w/o 11/14

  • How far along are you? 4 weeks

    Why are you high-risk?

I am high tisk during the first trimester due to "unexplained early pregnancy loss" as my RE calls it. Also I have a blood disorder that requires me to be on blood thinner while pregnant. This baby was the result of a FET and was already a 5 day blast

Any additional monitoring or testing this week?

    Blood work and ultrasound

    Any concerns/news currently?

I will always have concerns, but nothing specific to trigger worry. So far everything is going fine

What positives are you seeing with your pregnancy today?

The line on my hpt tests is finally as dark as the control line. Just praying for good beta numbers.

Yes, we have been trying for 10 years and kept having early loss. Finally got insurance to see a RE and had our first baby in 2015. I got started as soon as I was cleared by the doctor to have #2, but had no luck naturally to even get pregnant this time, so we went back to the RE. TW, I had a CP in September, but we are on the right tack this time I think. I know this sounds callous, but I am familiar enough with early loss that I can't let fear of loss deter me from trying to finish my family before I am too old to want to have children anymore. If this baby goes to term, it will be my last one

yes I wanted to wait longer but my endo was acting up and iud was not helping. Had to have a 3rd surgery and my chances are better after that. My cycles were longer than usual after iud so I didn’t expect it to happen in the first month of ttc (two months after surgery). I was already expecting to having to be on progesterone again.
