GTKY: Being Thankful

In light of Thanksgiving being right around the corner...

What are you thankful for this year?

Whether that's something monetary, physical, emotional, a person, a change in your life....

What is it that you're thankful for?

  • @krashke sometimes I worry the world does not agree every person has a right to basic necessities, but you’re right. Could get very heated. And it would make me so depressed if anyone didn’t want to hope for basic human rights for everyone lol.
  • @MoonOverGoldsboro lemonade sounds AMAZING right now!!
  • @Miz_Liz It is SO GOOD. I do half water/half lemonade, because otherwise I get a bit of an acid overload (especially with all the vinegar-y food I've been eating). It just tastes so delicious, especially super icy cold.

  • There are many things I am thankful for this year, but the things I am truly thankful for are
my health, DH, DS, our families, and this sweet little babe I have growing inside me. We may not have it all, but we have everything we need and I couldn't be more thankful.

  • I am very thankful for our little surprise baby. I am also thankful for having such a wonderful family that always supports me. They are always with me through the happy times and the rough times. I honestly don't know where I would be without all of them.
  • 1. 2 year old DD who says the cutest things ever.  The latest is "I'm right here, Mommy".
    2. DH who is totally enamored with DD.
    3. The small sense of peace that comes with pregnancy #2 because I feel reassured by body knows how to do this (although I still worry for the sake of worrying).
    4. My sister living close by.  She is the only family member that lives close by, and she helps me so so much.
    5. My job that gives me next week off!  You don't get rich teaching, but I am so grateful for breaks where I can be a "pretend stay at home mom".
  • 1) incredibly supportive husband who v 60 hours and still does everything around the house
    2) Being pregnant with our 2nd miracle baby.
    3) Baths where I feel weightless
    4) family that has helped with our struggling this past year.
