Help purple underwear

Went to the restroom earlier and noticed my brand new white underwear are purple! Discharge is normal, but in that region they are purple! I wear leggings and put everything on right after a shower this morning. I googled this and it seems like it's a rare thing that happens to pregnant women from a ph in the skin, but later in pregnancy. I'm only 8 weeks. Anyone else? Should I mention it to my dr?

    I am unsure what QFP means and looked in abbreviations and can't seem to find it. Would you please explain? Sorry I am new here

    Yes! No medical backing just something in the ph of some pregnant women's skin. The toilet seats are apparently needing to be replaced as the blue won't come off. Mine are plastic so i don't forsee this being an issue but my sheets may start turning since that's also apparently common in this.

    Yes! No medical backing just something in the ph of some pregnant women's skin. The toilet seats are apparently needing to be replaced as the blue won't come off. Mine are plastic so i don't forsee this being an issue but my sheets may start turning since that's also apparently common in this.

    I bit and googled it (“toilet seat turning blue”) and there’s a lot of claims of it.  No science backing at this point, but interesting!

    It's so odd. Never had it with my first and was looking for anyone else who may have had it and what became of it. I have my appointment next week and think I will mention it to my dr just to see.

    @kbernal2021 do you have a new pair of pants or leggings?  I know that most of the stories say nope, but I definitely have had a new pair of darker jeans stain my legs and my car seat!

    Nope. My leggings are one of my older pairs, only thing new was the underwear. No new soaps or anything. I kind of wish I had a porcelain toilet seat now. I have jeans but never wear them because even not pregnant leggings are life lol

    Because these types of posts generally don’t go over well and then they get dirty deleted by the original poster.     Just the ph in my skin in general. Took a shower about an hour ago.. white towel is now purple and soaking in bleach.

    I've been on my prenatals for a few weeks, and have also been on progesterone for the same time frame. But that makes a lot of sense because it does follow a specific sweat pattern. No other medications. Thank you for the insight ☺
