I just started Riverdale, I watched the first season in like two days...lol. I have a lax job. I'm caught up to what's showing on TV now.

It's one of those, I'm not sure if I love the show but I have to keep going back to see what happens next!!

I read The Handmaids Tale and just finished binging the first season. I really liked the way they adapted it for TV.

@gspmom21 I watched Riverdale recently too, I can't decide if I like it but once I've seen every episode of something I can't not finish it lol. I'll probably wait until the 2nd season is on Netflix before I catch up though.

I just finished Stranger Things 2, and I am going to start Mindhunter on Netflix. It's based on my favorite book ever, so I'm hoping I love it. I also really want to watch Lore on Amazon. I love the Podcast so hopefully the show lives up.

@acunamatada It's one of those shows that I think they try a *little* too hard to portray something. Like Cheryl she's obviously suppose to be sassy but it's over the top sometimes.
Also, like New Girl. I get that the lead girl is suppose to be geeky and nerdy, but they try to hard.. shows like that I don't fully get into.

Riverdale is on the CW app or online on their website if you'd like to catch up!

@gspmom21 I love New Girl but that's the kind of show I'll watch in the background while I'm folding laundry or something. Something lighthearted but you don't really have to pay attention to it.
I agree Riverdale tries a little to hard. I might catch up on it, I'm running out of shows that I can watch without Netflix cheating on DH!

I'm a total Potterhead, so FanFic is always a fun read for me. But with the 1st trimester fatigue setting in I've been rewatching Scrubs for the BILLIONTH time. I think I might switch to This Is Us soon, though. I've been dying to watch it but I don't want to mix that show with late pregnancy hormones (I made that mistake with 3rd trimester and Grey's Anatomy last time... I have never ugly cried so often in my life).

I feel like I'm broken @acunamatada @d_marie_23 I LOVE This is Us and typically stay caught up. I think I've only cried twice the entire time. And I cry over some pretty dumb stuff sometimes. I think I'm the only female.

Reading Harry Potter again. I read the series for the first time last year and I absolutely fell in love with it. I'm going to Potter World next week so I want to be in the thick of the books when I go. Started book 4 last week!

@gspmom21 Haha! I am literally the exact opposite, lol. I never cry at movies or shows, I just don't like to cry in general, but the clips of that show choke me up a bit every time. Oh! And that freaking Happy Family video.

@acunamatada I’m reading the handmaid’s tale right now. Not sure if I like it or not. I’m trying to read it quickly before my library loan runs out in 3 days lol.

ETA- I’m also watching glee for like the millionth time. I love it lol.

@hillbillywife Yeah it's definitely a weird book, I read it in like 2 days while traveling. The show is weird too but I liked it a lot more than the book.

Right now we're binging last man on earth on Hulu, H is obsessed with it and wants to watch it every night, I'm pretty meh about it but I'm putting up with it for him. It's the least I can do since he watches this is us with me. And yes, I cry at every single episode of this is us. We also just finished stranger things 2, which I really liked. We don't have cable so I'm always looking for a good Netflix or Hulu or Amazon binge.

@zande2016 we don't have cable either. A friend gave us a website to watch bootleg movies/shows and a chromecast to watch it on TV

I’ve been reading the well known what to expect book lol, that is really good so far, when I get overwhelmed I stop reading- I’m like I have 9 months to get through it lol

i haven’t watched too much TV lately- I have to catch up on This is Us. One of my fav- where I ugly cry (when not pregnant)

@acunamatada @hillbillywife I read the Handmaid's Tale over the summer and loved it! If you guys like that, you should read her MaddAdam series. I just finished the second book out of that series....super good!! Now I have to get Hulu so I can watch the Handmaid's Tale!!

@stlmegs Mindhunter is so good! Didn't read the book the but the show is great. Jonathan Groff is fantastic.

Any and all baking shows on Netflix. Great British Bake Off is my favorite. Working through Zumbos Just Desserts now.

Right now my favorite series is Vikings, and it's new season is later this month, so I am pretty pumped for that. No idea what I should binge in the meantime though

Literally me right now. We just finished up stranger things 2 and I keep hearing great things about Mindhunter so I'm starting that today! Also, trying to catch up on a few seasons of Shameless.

Currently looking for binge ideas (some good ones on this thread! I’m going to check out Mindhunter). I’d been driving quite a bit for work the last month so I listened to a lot of audiobooks and am in the middle of Dan Brown’s Origin. I want to finish it, but I’m at home for the next few weeks and there’s something that just feels weird about listening to a book on my phone while I sit on the couch...

@bdesterhouse it’s the same author (and continued story) of Angels and Demons and Da Vinci Code if you’ve read those or watched the movies. I only watched those movies so I wasn’t sure what to expect in the book. It’s really detailed (read: slow ha) in some areas, but I like it so far! It’s science/religion/mystery if you haven’t seen the movies, and this one is about the “origin” of the universe. It’s like 13 hours, so a solid binge if you break it up like I have been
