1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks (tomorrow) and baby is the size of a grapefruit!
2. How are you feeling? Not too bad. Had a cold this week, but starting to feel better. Just braxton hicks, but can’t complain
3. Any appointments this week? Just had a regular OB check up yesterday and all is well! Baby girl’s heartbeat was in the 150s and am feeling her kick away all the time!
4. Rants, raves, questions. Not looking forward to a busy week ahead, work events every day and long days as a result, but then my husband and l will be going on vacation just the two of us for our five year wedding anniversary next weekend, so l am really looking forward to that!
5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? We haven’t had much fall weather this year yet (living in FL) but I’ve been dressing up my outfits with statement necklaces. Helps me feel a little more put together on days when l just can’t.
2. How are you feeling? Now that my sinus infection is gone, I'm great! Lots of movement from the boy, still on modified bedrest. The backache is becoming a thing too.
3. Any appointments this week? My OB that will be delivering me is performing the GTT on Friday. I look forward to the gross orange drink and hourly bloodwork
4. Rants, raves, questions. Have any FTM signed up for any childbirth or infant classes? I'm looking into those now.
5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? My cozy faux fur vest. It is what I wear with my black leggings and black tank. Which I wear about 90% of the time I'm not in work clothes lol
@cford08 my hospital offered three classes: childbirth, infant care and breast feeding. We took them all the first go-round and I'll probably take them again in January for this LO just for a refresher, though I'm most interested/concerned with the breast feeding class. I say take them all if they're free!!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
21 weeks today - baby is the size of an endive. 2. How are you feeling? I have a monster sore throat. And the lower back pain starts quicker these days when I lay in certain positions. Oh and if I could sleep better and not wake up at 5:15 a.m. for no apparent reason, that would be great. 3. Any appointments this week? Endocrinologist appt Thursday to check my thyroid. 4. Rants, raves, questions. I'm already stressing a little about coming home with a newborn and still taking good care of my DD. I know we will be fine and will figure it out, but I just remember how tired we were with DD and I don't want her to feel like we are taking care of her any different. All I can say is thank God for Grandma - I know she will be a big help with DD!! 5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? You guys - I am SO not fashionable. Like at all. Fall lasts like 5 seconds here and really my only change in clothing is putting on a sweater. I also wear my flip flops until it's absolutely ridiculous to keep wearing them.
How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks today. Coconut.
2. How are you feeling? pretty decent for the most part. Heartburn is horrid and I’m taking 150 mg of Zantac and eating tums like crazy. Calf cramps are murderous this time around.
3. Any appointments this week? I don’t think so. Should probably check lol
4. Rants, raves, questions. Has anyone had to take a potassium supplement during pregnancy or are you now? It doesn’t seem to matter how much water I drink, how much potassium rich foods I eat, or how much stretching I do. The leg cramping kills me! The compression hose help some but they can’t be worn at night after being worn all day.
5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? I don’t really have one. I pretty much dress the same, just warmer, during the cold months and the only jewelry I wear are my wedding band set. Boring lol
21 Endive. Whatever that is lol 2. How are you feeling? Good! Allergies are still hanging on, flonase to the rescue hopefully. 3. Any appointments this week? No appointments. 4. Rants, raves, questions. are those childbirth classes that necessary? Our hospital is charging $45-$60+ a class and I am highly annoyed that they want me to pay that kind of money to do something women have been doing for centuries without them. I really plan on just winging it all and praying for the best. I feel that my close mom friends could help me for free if it's necessary. 5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? Oh man, Mascara. I guess if I am going to feel like I'm put together I have mascara on. I may look like hell(sorry bossmen) but if my face is put together I feel like I'm partially ok.
24 weeks! Baby is the size of a cantaloupe. 2. How are you feeling? Overall pretty good. DS picked up yet another cold from daycare and of course passed it to me. I'm ready for spring already. 3. Any appointments this week? Yep, 24 week appointment on Friday! I feel like I'm huge already so I'm curious to see how I'm measuring. 4. Rants, raves, questions. I hate sick season!!! I'm so over this stuffy nose and sinus headaches. Also, time can quit going by so quickly... with DS I feel like I had everything done by 24 weeks, and this time I still have literally everything to do, lol. 5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? Thanks to these stupid colds, I'll say chapstick and Kleenex. I have to wear a uniform to work (911 dispatcher) so I don't get a lot of opportunities to dress cute.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 24 weeks, an ear of corn or a puffin
2. How are you feeling? I don’t feel good, pretty much ever anymore, migraines are just the worst, but I am still excited and happy all over again when I feel him moving around. 3. Any appointments this week? 1 hour glucose test tomorrow. My last urine sample indicated high blood sugar.
4. Rants, raves, questions. I am freaking out a bit about potential GD, but trying not to.
5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? This nice ice pack with a strap to hold it on your knee, or head, in my case.
@Gingermom15 not while pregnant. But when I was working out alot I did take potassium pills. I could go like a week without needing them if I wad training really hard. I hate them though. They are real life horse pills.

22 weeks - coconut! 2. How are you feeling? Idk what's going on, but my hips have been bothering me a lot lately. I hate sleeping on my side, and I wake up several times throughout the night with the hip I'm laying on killing me. Other than that, pretty good. 3. Any appointments this week? I just have a check-up tomorrow. Really not looking forward to getting on the scale after eating Halloween candy for like two weeks straight. Whoopsies... 4. Rants, raves, questions. I went on two hospital tours and registered at Buy Buy Baby this weekend. Feeling very accomplished on finally making some decisions about baby gear haha I feel really good about the hospital we chose too, so that helps ease some of my labor fears. 5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? Boots! I love boots, and fall is my favorite season because I get to wear them all the time! I really should get some new ones because mine are very worn-looking, but I'm finding it hard to want to spend money on that when I know how much we'll need to be spending on baby stuff coming up soon!
@cford08 I'm planning on taking childbirth, infant care, and breastfeeding classes with my hospital. It's annoying how much they charge, but it will help me feel prepared and it's worth it for my sanity!
@leilaquinn I'm sorry you're still feeling bad! I hope you get some relief soon!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks, baby is the size of an endive.
2. How are you feeling? Sinus drainage and acid reflux are what I'm dealing with. Occasionally having back pain too, so I added more pillows to my bed to help.
3. Any appointments this week? My next OB appointment is in a week.
4. Rants, raves, questions. Managed to get my fiance to come with me to IKEA and pick up the baby's dresser. Just waiting on his mother to send us the crib and for my dad to fix and refinish my old wooden toy box. The nursery feels so close to being complete!
5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? I bought some slip on boots that are super comfy.

1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks, baby is as big as a chinchilla
2. How are you feeling? I still mostly go with I've had it easy so far but since this is my opportunity to whine and I generally try not to... I'm so over the nausea. I think I almost would rather have barfed for seven weeks and then flipped a switch and felt better than this constant bleh feeling. Right now, I can't stand my hands because they smell vaguely of the pho I had for lunch. I just held the spoon. It's not like I stuffed my hand in there to soak. And the last two nights at about 10:45 I've thought I really might barf. And I just want to like food again.
Plus, a couple of my bottom ribs hurt some off an on. The last two nights have been killing me. And my sacrum is all tragic again. Suck it up, body. We have four months to go!
3. Any appointments this week? OB appointment tomorrow. H and I are talking about going to a movie afterwards.
4. Rants, raves, questions. Well, I got my first belly touch. Nephew's BD party was this weekend and first thing MIL walked up to me and touched it. Hopefully that doesn't continue. Or evolve. Luckily this was a light touch at the top of my stomach. So that's good?
5. GTKY: What is your go to accessory this fall? Chacos are good year-round.
Does anyone else find that movements that are probably baby repositioning its whole body make you feel kinda seasick?
@SoFlaMommie1128 I hope the week goes quickly and you have a great vacation.
@cford08 I started looking into classes but the schedules they had listed aren't working for us. It's really a pain that H isn't on a set schedule so I have to wait for his schedule to come out for each month to make a plan.
@amylonghorn I'm always into open toed shoes. Especially when it's wet outside. Otherwise they get wet and never dry. With sandals, at least your feet dry out.
@Gingermom15 I may be making this up but I thought maybe magnesium was also supposed to help? Maybe look into that?
@kelsajo While I definitely want to go to classes, it's at least 70% for H's benefit. I'm all for setting someone else up to be the one to teach him so it came from them and I'm not the nag. He has such limited knowledge in this realm that it'll be good to learn. You can always just read a couple books but I appreciate having someone I can ask. And really, your classes are about 1/2 to 1/3 of what they cost here. I figure if I'm not willing to work for free, I can't expect others to, you know?
@ashleyf911 I'm with you on the time going by so slowly. I had a hard time believing that this was really real until the AS so now I'm all, "Oh, holy smokes! Four months left!! I have to get all the things done and enjoy every minute of this!!!!!"
@leilaquinn Movement is pretty much the best. H finally felt movement this weekend.
@stlbuckeye132 I try to just rotate to different parts of that hip. I'll go more stomach side with the top leg forward and bent to kind of tripod for the belly. Or I'll lean back on my wedge pillow so I'm never on my back but I'm able to change positions.
@SoraLk Me reading that your nursery is almost done: Um, mine's almost cleaned out...
@amanning2011 Glad to hear that your AS went well and you're having healthy babies!

@kiki75 they both help in different ways. Low mag can cause involuntary contractions and spasms. Since I’m not having those I figured low potassium was the culprit, but they go hand in hand and if the potassium supplements don’t help I plan on asking about that next.
@kiki75 If my MIL ever tried to touch my belly I think I'd karate chop her arm off. Luckily for me, I don't think I'm going to see her again until after the baby is here so I think I'm safe! Also, I can't really say the movements make me feel seasick, but sometimes I feel like I'm about to poop my pants or something until I remember that it's baby and not bowels haha
