So I got my beta drawn today and it was 32.8. I am getting another one drawn on Friday morning. I'm really hoping that it doubles. Has anyone had any experience with a lower hcg early on?
Edited because my iPad decided to post before I was done typing.
@MelissaMay82 FX for increasing numbers. I have no info only had my betas done the last pregnancy and was only told they were normal so not sure what they were
@MelissaMay82 sorry but I don’t really know what a beta should be that early on, as I’ve never had mine tested in either of my previous pregnancies. Hopefully it will be doubled on Friday, so keep us posted!
Obviously I have zero self control and POAS this morning at 8dpo. Clearly it was a bfn haha, but I know 8dpo is still super early. Never was able to turn a test this early in my previous two pregnancies, so not sure why I thought it would be different now, but that’s the BSC kicking in I guess.
@MelissaMay82 Congratulations. Anything over 25 beta is pregnant. Keep us updated on your betas! @pumpkinpancake Totally understand the BSC. I keep POAS for O thinking that I'm going to get a different result, 3 times in a day, they are all the same

Thanks all, I will keep you updated. After doing some research last night I feel much better. It is amazing how much the scales by weeks for HCG vary. The American Pregnancy Association for example starts their scales with much lower numbers than my health care organizations. I also did not realize that most people do not get their beta drawn early in the beginning (the hazards of being a nurse and wanting to know all the information). I think that I may be causing myself more stress than need be. But at the same time, I would also like to be mentally prepared for a m/c if my numbers are not going in the right direction.
MelissaMay82 3 of my 4 MC I had betas drawn for, and well, none of them ended up well. They say that the most important thing is that it doubles in 48 hours. Also, depending on how early you are (like 4 weeks exactly vs. 5 and a half weeks), that number is supposedly not very low. However, I've never had any luck with low beta numbers. Better luck to you!

Just ending tww, didnt get my period so I took a test and got a BFP! I'm cautiously excited and nervous. I'm seeing my obgyn next week to confirm it. Not sure if I'll require any extra tests now that I've had a loss and I'm 35 now. Guess I'll find out soon.
still feels strange to have no idea how many DPO I am since I only tracked CM this month but some what liberating. Although I'm sure the BSC will start once I get closer to AF next week

I surprisingly had a great wkd. My mom and sister were here. Today is my 2nd EDD but I’m holding up pretty good. I had one little moment Friday when my sisters nephew had their baby. It made me think about what I should be going through this wkd but I had my brief moment and then enjoyed my visit. I’m hoping this TWW is it as it could be our last.
@vlagrl29 that’s a possibility. DH and I said we would revisit our discussion when we no longer could do IUIs any more to see if we wanted to continue. I have enough medicine for one more IUI so I’m going to ask RE if we can do one more if necessary especially since it appears the supplements have made a difference. When DH and I discussed earlier I thought I would be ready to be done when IUIs were done but now that supplements seem to have changed things I may want to try naturally for a few cycles. We will see. January is 2 yrs TTC
@Mack2342 im really rooting for you this month!! Glad you had a nice weekend despite the EDD. Hopefully this is your last TWW, but because you get a BFP!
AFM, still holding on for this month so far. 12 dpo today, and all BFNs so far. They’re not really bothering me thoug, so I’m still being hopeful. With my pregnancy a few years ago with DS, I had a BFN at 11dpo, and then got my BFP at 15 dpo (somehow I resisted POAS in those days in between back then), so I don’t necessarily think I’m out yet. Temps are still pretty consistently high, and no spotting or cramping or anything, so I’m still trying to be optimistic.
I think you are right about the supplements @mack2342 - I keep taking mine as well. I'm not going the way you are yet but did get a longer LH surge last month. I'm Actually out of ubiquinol and waiting for it to come in the mail this week.
@mack2342 - have you noticed any changes in CM with the ubiquinol. I swear it's giving me way more EWCM than I was having. TMI - Seriously went to the bathroom today to pee and it was just hanging out of me and I'm only CD12.
@Mack2342 I think it's the ubiquinol for real. I always pay attention to it. It's the one thing that is always consistent every month. This stuff is like liquid gold.
