Hello everyone and congratulations! My name is Katie and I'm a 27 year old STM to one 4 year old DD. I got my BFP on Wednesday 10/18 giving me a EDD of 6/28/18!
My DH and I met in college nearly a decade ago. Our DD was a beautiful surprise in 2013. This is our first (and likely final) planned pregnancy! Hit a home run our first cycle. I’m still surprised.
Congratulations to everyone! My estimated due date is June 24, BFP date was October 8 and had my first US yesterday, 6 wks and 3 days along. So nauseous all the time and pretty much despise all food at this point.
Husband and I were not planning on a baby this year but we are surprised and thrilled. I'm a FTM, and super nervous about everything...so much to know! But excited at the same time. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Hi! I'm Ashleigh and I got my BFP last weekend. I am 6 weeks today, making my due date 6/28. My first appt isn't until Nov 27 though : so far this pregnancy seems to be going identical to my first, aside from the constant anxiety of OMGIMPREGNANTWUT?!? I'm much more relaxed this time though still a tiny bit nervous!
I have a 2.5 year old daughter (was part of April 15 BMB before the big blow up and am still in contact with a lot of the moms). I'm 28 and I'm from Indiana. Im excited to try to catch up on some of threads since I'm kind of a late comer with a due date at the end of June. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hello, my name is Julie and this is my second. Two days without my period, I was sitting at the dinner table with my Sgt. when I thought the blue cheese dressing tasted funny and I couldn't eat it. Then I move on to the pulled pork and as I'm chewing I have that "I'm going to puke" feeling. I picked up a pregnancy test on the way home and got a BFP by 1030 that night. Not even 30 seconds into the waiting period I had two bright pink parallel lines! My husband was still at work so I started brainstorming how to tell him. I finally came up with the idea of having him subpoena'd! I waited until shift change the next day to give it to him. Since about 3 weeks, I have had morning, noon, and night sickness. I can't eat, and if I don't it's worse. REALLY hoping I don't get stuck with this the entire time....
Hi all, I'm Evey, and I'm having my 4th baby in June, estimated due date is the 18th. This is my 4th, my husband's 2nd. My oldest is 13, my middlest is 9, and my youngest is 2 and a half (the 2 year old is my husband's, and he cares for the older two as his own, having been in their lives for the past 7 years and officially dad since 5/2015). This little bean was unexpected and we are hoping it will be a boy. ☺
i have been scared to introduce myself, and have been lurking for about 2 weeks ❤️
We lost a sweet peanut in February at 10 weeks. So I’m waiting on pins and needles to pass milestones. Just got betas back for the last few days and they are going up accordingly.
I have 2 little ones a 5 and 2 year old. And I’m so hoping this little one will be our rainbow
Hello hello. Third time Mom here. I was active on TB with my first and still in the fb group spinoff. Love my mom friends can’t wait to get to know you all!
Got my BFP October 22nd. Surprise baby, we are extremely excited. Second baby had a heart defect and went into heart failure at 3 months old so we feel extremely robbed of his infanthood. He is healthy now and excited to be a big brother!
Aria is 4, Kai is 2. Baby three due June 18.
August '15 January Siggy Challenge "Favorite Mean Girl"
Hello everyone, Congratulations to all. I've been lurking for a while but have been too nervous to post. This is my first pregnancy and having no idea what to expect, coupled with my worry wart tendencies and my doctors not doing an US until 12 weeks has me overanalyzing every twinge of pain or odd sensation.
I got my positive test on 10/26 with an estimated due date of 6/14. That puts me at 8w2d today.
@amys614 I am in the same boat. First pregnancy and I am a nervous wreck waiting for my US at 12 weeks. Hoping and praying everything will be okay for all of us on here!
26 y/o FTM (biologically)
1 Child - Son - 9 y/o Married - DH 27 y/o BFP: 10/13/17 EDD: 6/22/18
Super nervous, but this group seems like just the support I’m open to for this pregnancy. My name is Alaina and my DH and I have been married 5 years. This is my 5th pregnancy, however I no living children yet (crazy to say that out loud). My DH and I had 4 losses in the last 5 years all within the 1st trimester. Most recently a rollercoaster ride of an ectopic on my birthday and blighted ovum.
Due to the early recurrent loss, we thought that we had pretty munched exhustated our options for conceiving naturely and decided it was the best time to seek fertility treatment. So in preparation for fertility treatment I decided to go on a fertility detox and diet to Best increase the quality of my eggs. To our complete surprise, we revieved a BFP on Oct. 17th before our fertility treatment ever began. Our EDD is June 24th.
While we are thrilled, I feel like I constantly go through ups and downs of not knowing how exactly to feel. Our plan is to wait to announce to our families for Christmas (yay!).
Wow this was longer than I thought. Sorry rookie mistake.
Hi, I’m Rachel and I’m a FTM! Not sure if I am doing this right by posting in the reply but since I posted in new discussion and it didn’t show up, i’m trying it this way. I got my BFP two weeks ago and had an ultrasound a few days ago. My EDD is June 17th. I had to call my BF to give him the big news since he travels 75% of the year for Work and I think he was more excited than me He was bummed to miss the first ultrasound, but hoping I can schedule the next one when he is home. I am happy to read that I’m not the only one that thought by my LMP that I was a week further along than the ultrasound technician put me at. I’m looking forward to having other people going through the same things to talk about it. Congrats to everyone else.
I got my BFP on 10/8 and I think my due date will be 6/10. I was previously a teacher and am now a private math tutor and sahm to the sweetest little girl that will be 2 in December.
We got to see the heartbeat at 6w6d with my 1st pregnancy, but this time my ob didn’t have any openings until I will be 10w2d. I think we will be waiting to tell family and close friends at thanksgiving, though keeping this baby a secret has been so difficult!
My name is Ivy and I'm 30 (about to turn 31 this month). I got my BFP on 10/17. We had only just started talking about trying and then boom out the gate before we ever expected it happened! My current due date is 6/23 and I would be a first-time mom. Husband and I were overwhelmed at first but so excited.
It's been a little rocky so far. I had some spotting and bleeding the second week after getting the positive and have since been in to see my doc 3 times. I've had ultrasounds each time and went from seeing what just looked like an empty sac to a growing fetus with a little flicker of a heartbeat!
Progesterone was a little low when they tested it so I am now on twice a day suppositories through the first trimester. Fetal heartbeat when it was checked last week was at 127bpm, and so far (knock on wood) I've had no bleeding for 5 straight days. Feeling cautiously excited but also wary that it's still so early. Staying positive and looking forward to all that comes next!
Hi all! I've been lurking for a week and now am introducing myself. I'm a FTM and my EDD sis 6/26. I got my BFP on 10/18. This is my first pregnancy as well. I'm anxious but excited and hoping that everything is going okay in there so far! My first appointment isn't until 11/14 so it's been nice to read about how everyone else is doing here.
Good morning, I'm a FTM, first pregnancy due June 19. I am also in my final year of my PhD. It's been an exhausting 7-8ish weeks so far so I am really looking forward to getting some energy back soon. Praying this baby sticks and I can walk across the graduation stage June 2! My first ultrasound last week showed a strong heartbeat, so far things look good.

I'm doing my PhD too. I'm in my 2nd year though so not sure how my supervisors will take the news.

Congrats!! I haven't told my Chair yet... but I know other Mama PhDs so I know this can be done! I have 2 friends who were both in the middle of their degrees when they found out they were expecting. Keep on going!
Hi! I'm L and I'm going to be a FTM. I got my BFP a while ago, well before the end of September. Even the midwives were surprised that I got it so early. EDD is 6/13/18. Haven't been on here because I've been pretty freaked out and anxious, but I'm looking for support now and am happy to be here. My DH and I are both 29, and will be turning 30 before the EDD. We're both pretty excited
Hi everyone! I’m Lizette, 33, and I live in San Francisco. I’m a FTM and will have my first appointment this Friday, the 10th. According to my cycle, due date is June 23rd, but we’ll see if that gets adjusted. I’m hoping everything is OK and I’m nervous every day that something is wrong - I’m sure you all can relate. My boyfriend of 4 years is in LA, where I’m from, so there are many logistical things to figure out in the next few months. There are days when I’m overjoyed that I’m pregnant and others where I think “wtf are you doing? You can’t do this because with grad school starting 3 months after the baby is due!” But I’m staying positive and hoping for the best. I really appreciate having found this space because I’m alone a lot and am pretty sure my mother won’t be supportive. I need some support and love during the next few months. Thanks!
Hey ladies congrats to all! I am Korinne 32 from jersey. My due date is june 14th. We have two boys Corben & Weston who are 5&3 and a little girl Sutton Jade who 16 months we also have 3 angel babies one of which is my daughter's twin whom we lost at 17weeks. I have a master's degree in forensic psychology and hated working In the real world so I started my own business 6 years ago and never looked back. My husband and I have been together 15yrs married for 8. We live on a lake and spend most of our time outdoors ,we are die hard packers fans and love to travel. I look forward to spending our last go around on this crazy ride with you ladies
it's going to be a long winter.... Football and drinking is all we have here and we know one is out, now looking like both are done. @sunshineandwhiskey
@sunshineandwhiskey that's awesome. My 5 year old who watches every game delared today he's not going to watch anymore because the packers are making him sad . My sentiments exactly kid.
I'm Lisa and from Reading, PA. My edd is June 21st, I get my first ultrasound 11/13 at just over 8 weeks.
This is technically my 3rd live birth. I have a 14 year old and completed a surrogacy in May 2017 with no real idea if I would ever have more kids of mine own. Well surprise!! I'm nervous about getting pregnant so close to a birth but such unexpected things happen and looking forward to starting my pregnancy journey again with my own little fellow or fella!
I'm amanda. Got my BFP on October 18 and my EDD is June 30th. Had a MC back in April after over a year of trying so happy tears today after first US to see things are starting out much more positive. Fun to see everyone’s progress
Hello ladies. I got my BFP on 10/9 and my estimated due date is June 14. I’m a SAHM to my 4 year old son and a geriatric cocker spaniel. I love to knit, quilt, and will try any craft at least once. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, and we have been together for 19 years, since we were 14! When we get to go on dates, we love to go to the movies, go to concerts/shows, and ballroom dance—though it’s been forever since we’ve had the chance to have dance lessons.
I’m a STM, but this is my third pregnancy. I experienced a loss at 13 weeks earlier this year, so I have been hesitant to join the bump. DH and I had a good ultrasound appointment last week and so far so good. I’m just holding my breath until I get past 13 weeks and the NT scan. I love my OB and feel well cared for by my doctors, so that helps with the anxiety. We just told our parents that I am pregnant last weekend.
I am forever reading these threads and I never post. I decided it's time! I got my BFP on 9/24 and our due date is June 8th. I am 33 years old and from Nashville, TN and work at a healthcare company.
I am so excited to share this journey with you guys!
Hello! I’m a little late to the game this time around
We struggled to convince of feb16 little guy for 5 years so this new little one is a complete surprise!
I got my BFP 11-7 and had a blood draw to check levels yesterday. According to hcg levels I’m between 6-9 weeks! We will be getting a dating ultrasound soon to narrow down edd.
So so excited to get to know y’all, the feb16 group have been life savers and I’m hoping to make some more great friends here.
Second baby had a heart defect and went into heart failure at 3 months old so we feel extremely robbed of his infanthood. He is healthy now and excited to be a big brother!
From one heart mom to another, I understand this completely. Our second child has a heart defect as well, as described in my signature. Do you mind if I ask what your child's heart defect is? Has he had any surgeries?
First Son - born 2013
Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
Hello Ladies!! Recently found out we are pregnant with baby#2 - due 6/27! I'll be 35 when I deliver so it sounds like I'll have to go through some early testing and we should find out the sex very soon! I'm pretty excited about that We live in the Greater Seattle area.
