I am 17 weeks!! Baby is the size of a pear!
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good. Due to daylight savings time, It gets dark around 5 PM, so I want to go to bed around six every day!
My husband is out of town this week so I’ve been doing all of the kid duties, so that’s tiring too
3. Any appointments coming up?
I have a regular OB appt on Monday with someone in the practice I haven’t met yet! So I’m excited about that!
4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?
HUGE RAVE: I have posted other places about this, but I am just so excited about it. We had our gender reveal party on Saturday, and it went off without a hitch. I am so thrilled to be having another little girl. I would have been thrilled to be having another little boy, too.
My son is amazing as well—I just think this whole thing is like “cool, bro” for him LOL. My daughter is over the moon that she’s going to be having a little sister!
At the gender reveal party, we got a gift card to babies R us for my parents, so we thought the swing that we had her ion, and it was free shipping, and 20% off your purchase. So we ended up paying three dollars for the swing!
5. What’s the nicest thing your SO has done lately? Most eye roll worthy?
Sweetest: we are rearranging the master bedroom, and DH arranged it so he could be close to the baby during the night. He moved a bunch of his stuff to the garage because he wants his baby girl to have all the space she needs!
Also, He has never registered for a baby before. When I had my daughter, I hadn’t met him yet. I was a single mom, and My friends threw me a shower. He met me when my daughter was 15 months old. HE.IS.SO.EXCITED to register for things. It’s adorable to see how excited he is!
(we are having a shower because my friends INSIST and my youngest is 8 1/2)
Eye Roll Worthy- I understand fully that he hates taking out the garbage because it’s out our back door and down some stairs. But before he left for his business trip, he left two garbage bags on our deck instead of bringing them down to the cans, and raccoons got in them.
These raccoons ripped open the bag, and now I have garbage strewn all over my deck and the stairs in my yard. So he is still out of town, and I had to pick up garbage that had frozen to the ground thanks to the frost.
18 wks...sweet potato or artichoke (never have seen an artichoke in my life lol).
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good. Tired today. I keep waking up and my hands and shoulders are numb...no idea why.
3. Any appointments coming up?
Not until the 22nd.

it's exciting I've been feeling tiny kicks and movements randomly. Not enough though...I want more! Lol.
My gums on the top front started bleeding right away when I brush my teeth. Annoyingggg. Also, trying to bring my feet up to put shoes on is getting to be a chore, especially because my freakin tailbone won't quit hurting.

Just the normal stuff, lol. He usually does a lot for me. I keep rolling my eyes that he hasn't started to finish fixing the room we're moving into so the nursery can be fixed up. Time is ticking away, H! Don't stress me out!
18 weeks - artichoke
2. How are you feeling?
Right now I'm consumed with finding out whether my cancer has spread. But started feeling some kicks so that's really nice.
3. Any appointments coming up?
I have my ultrasound on November 21st. Looking forward to getting some measurements and being reassured that baby is growing as he/she needs to be.

Nothing really today.
5. What’s the nicest thing your SO has done lately? Most eye roll worthy?
He has really stepped up taking as much on with the other kids as he can to keep me stress free while we go through this process.
@dlammers I am giving you huge hugs for all you are going through!!
18 weeks an artichoke
2. How are you feeling?
Burned out. But mostly from work. I get this way this time of year every year.

I have been feeling more kicks, so yay. Last time it wasn't until after 20 weeks.

He bought me a jar of pickles.
17 weeks - a pomegranate!
2. How are you feeling?
Like an entirely new person. I have more energy x100, my heartburn is getting better, and I'm starting to look pregnant, which helps immensely with my self-esteem in terms of not feeling just fat, lol. Aversions seem to be gone also. Yay for vegetables!!
3. Any appointments coming up?
Anatomy scan on the 27th! I ad a 17wk checkup yesterday, got to see the beeb briefly and heart his heartbeat for the first time!! Everything looks great.
4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?
Rants: I wish I would stop gagging every time I brush my teeth. And proceeding to throw up a few times. I have absolutely no nausea unless I'm brushing my teeth. Ugh. Oh well, I'll take it!
Raves: Hearing the heartbeat was pure magic. I teared up. Also, pretty sure I'm beginning to feel flutters!!!
Celebrations: My 30th tomorrow! Eeek! I am welcoming my 30's with open arms, as my 20's were so uncertain and hard.
5. What’s the nicest thing your SO has done lately? Most eye roll worthy?
Honestly my husband is amazing. I feel so lucky. He rubbed my back this morning when I threw up my breakfast (thanks, toothpaste) and has been plying me with food because I haven't gained any weight in a month. (My obgyn isn't worried, I started out on the fluffier side and I've gained about 7lbs overall). But that's been nice too since I've never had any problems gaining weight, LOL.
OH MY GOODNESS ME TOO! At first it was just if I was brushing for too long, but now its like the moment I put the toothbrush in my mouth. Ugh, maybe its progressed to the smell and flavor and not just the sensation. I might try switching brands

I am 19 weeks! Baby is as big as an heirloom tomato.
2. How are you feeling?
Couldn't be better. I'm ecstatic over the moon, every week is a new adventure. Learning how to deal with some of the nastier symptoms and just keep going. I've gotten more migraines but I've learned that huge changes in atmospheric pressure (like when a storm approaches or it goes from very warm to very cold) is a trigger for my migraines, and so I just try to nip it in the bud with tylenol, caffeine, and extra sleep (thankfully work is being very understanding about these days).
3. Any appointments coming up?
We have our anatomy scan on Nov 20. I couldnt be more excited to find out if we're having a little boy gymnast or girl gymnast (Some people call their baby sweetpea or peanut in the womb, I've been calling mine gymnast because he/she is SO ACTIVE.
4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?
Celebrations - just feeling in general really good. I'm taking everything one day at a time and learning to roll with the symptoms punches. And when it comes to round ligament pains, legit feels like punches.

My husband and I are waiting until we find out if we're having a girl or boy to talk about names, but we're thinking of names separately for both boys and girls so that we can have a fun first night of talking about them after the anatomy scan. My husband came in last night to the bedroom and said "I think about these names all day long. I think about whether my boy names will be good whether he's a football player or a ballet dancer". I didn't expect him to be so excited about this part, so that makes me feel really happy.
