How far along are you? 10w 4d
What symptoms are you having? Painful acne, getting physically and mentally tired much quicker than usual.
Rants/Raves: Rants: Not being able to use any effective skincare to deal with these breakouts. Raves: I am finally able to start eating a little bit more in one sitting! Thanksgiving dinner is something I look forward to all year so I’m hoping I’ll be able to take more than 4 bites before I get full.

GTKY: (Stolen from another BMB) Tell us about the worst/most awkward/most cringe-worthy date you've ever been on. Hmm. Nothing really comes to mind so I’ll tell a story from a friend. She got some great seats to a baseball game and invited a guy she had met online. They met at the stadium and he showed up with 3 coats. He didn’t ask if she wanted anything to eat or drink at any point until a hot dog vendor was walking through the seats. She said yes and he ordered her one and then she had to pay for it. They got on the kiss cam and he grabbed her head and laid a big one on her. Then at the end of the game he asked if she could drive him to his car because he parked far away. Ohh my we had a good laugh about it the next day.

What symptoms are you having? Nausea, heartburn, constipation.
Rants/Raves: rant /rave I wasn't feeling too sick this afternoon and thought I might be able to make dinner, I got so excited and decided to make a spicy hoisin chicken I love but haven't been able to eat in forever, well on the way to the store the thought of cutting up raw chicken made me want to puke, so I went home and made a sad looking salad.

I love the awkwardness of first dates and love vicariously through my friends seeing how I've been with MH for the last 10 years. I have two dates I can think of for this.
My first, first "date" ever I went to the fair with a group of friends and a guy who ended up being my first boyfriend. He asked to go on the ferris wheel with me and I was so scared I made my best friend go with us and pretty much ignored him the entire time. He was so nervous his stutter came out which I didn't know he had and I kept telling ok what are you trying to say. My best friend said it was the most awkward time she had ever had. This same boyfriend tried to kiss me once we were "dating" and 16 year old me got nervous and kneed him in the nose and gave him a bloody nose.
Another time again in high school, I really wanted to see a new movie and I was supposed to go with a friend. When she had to work and canceled on me, a coworker asked if I'd go with him. We left after work, he paid for the movie and popcorn, we went and saw the notebook. I cried my eyes out for a good 20 minutes near the end and could not stop crying as the credits went through and we left. (I preface this with I'm not one who usually cries, but my grandmother died 2 weeks prior to this and the whole family was there as they took her off her ventilater and my big strong 85 year old grandfather held her hand crying his eyes out.) needless to say, work after that was very awkward and we didn't really again.

What symptoms are you having? Nausea and occasional vomitting.
Rants/Raves: Good need was I got to see baby I'm the u/s for the 3rd time but will have to have a cerclage placed next week to hopefully help with IC that they believed caused my water to break at 26 weeks with DD. My cervix was already showing shorter than normal on today's scan.

What symptoms are you having?
Heartburn, occasional nausea, huge boobs, new this week...swollen fingers...
Rants/Raves:
Rant: I'm a teacher and my class this year is just terrible. Going from having an amazing class that I bounded with last year, to the circus I'm in this year has been tough. What makes it even harder is that I'm pregnant and tired. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to yell "I'm pregnant, just calm down" but I've kept my cool so far
Rave: Told my brother in law and sister in law the news this weekend. They are thrilled! My SIL even picked me up! They are going to be the best Aunt and Uncle. They've made the decision to not have children, so I know they will spoil this little bambino rotten!

Should I be swelling?? I have an appointment Friday (my first one thank god!) but I would like some other opinions.

Went out with this guy from high school years after we had graduated. He picked me up in his Escalade with the windows rattling because of how loud the music was. Took me to a movie and wanted to talk through the whole thing, then took me to dinner and introduced me as his girlfriend to people (it was our first date). Got drinks afterwards and when we couldn't get waited on, he jumped behind the bar to make our drinks and then proceeded to tell me he worked there before so it was ok. Drove me home, wanted to come in, I said no, the next day he left a basket on my porch filled with Bath and Body Works soaps. I didn't know whether to be flattered or upset that maybe he thought I smelled.

What symptoms are you having? I get gaggy if I don't eat for a while and also when I walk in a public restroom, tired all the time, tingly nipples and occasional pulling feelings.
Rants/Raves: Rant: I got my thyroid levels tested yesterday and they are getting higher, ugh. Rave: I've told several people now and that's been exciting.

GTKY: (Stolen from another BMB) Tell us about the worst/most awkward/most cringe-worthy date you've ever been on. I honestly never went on a lot of dates before DH. I do remember going to a movie with a guy in college that wanted to date me, but I only saw as a friend. He had persistently asked me out, so I finally gave in because he was a nice guy. I really don't remember details, but I know it was awkward because we had different perceptions of what was going on.

What symptoms are you having?
I actually felt normal today! I cleaned my house on Sunday! I think after throwing up all afternoon Friday and laying around Saturday morning, I'm just glad I don't feel like death!
Rants/Raves:
I was just thinking last night about how kind my son is. He was in such a good mood last night and was being good, so I got one of the bags of M&Ms out of his Halloween container and gave them to him. Without being prompted, he gave me a kiss, said "I love you", and wanted to share them with me. He's such a kind hearted boy. I think he's going to be the BEST big brother!

I don't think I have anything crazy. My mom went on a date with a guy she met online once. When they met up at the restaurant, he was missing several of his front teeth.

Still constipated AF, but less tired and nauseated, with slightly more control over my rage

Rant: there has been talk for a long time of allowing people in my position to work from home, which would fix my only real gripe about my job (the commute), but now it sounds like a hard no.
Rave: so happy to be feeling better.

I went to a college football game with a guy I'd kinda been seeing for a few weeks, and he "went to meet some friends for a minute" and never came back.

11 weeks today- size of a lime (it said 13 weeks earlier because pregnancy brain)
What symptoms are you having?
I’ve been so hungry and if I don’t eat I get headaches.
Rants/Raves:
I guess my rave is I don’t feel like ranting right now! My hormones are finally calming down! Also rave- my two kids snuck in my bed last night and are currently sleeping next to me make sweet sleeping sounds which I love.

To be honest, I can’t think of any “date” I have ever been on that wasn’t with my husband since we have been together for so long. Some of our dates where less than stellar things have happened (like super terrible service) have been some of our more fun ones because we end up laughing together at someone else’s expense on the way home.

finally getting some energy back! Today was the most productive in awhile! Walked the dogs, went to yoga, cleaned the house and baked a pie! Soooo I'm ready for bed already and it's 430 here hah...

my first date in high school the douche bag took me to a park and just wanted to make out in his parents van... cool dude. Great first date. Needless to say it ended quickly.

I don't think I've ever been on a bad date but on my 22nd birthday a guy that I really was interested in and my now husband both showed up to the Yard House for my birthday (my mom invited my husband as they were coworkers and she didn't know we were also talking lol) so it was quite messy!
