@nimmle FX on the timing! And i totally get that with extra activities now vs then!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 20/3

    Typical LP Length: 14ish

    Timing: very good

    Testing: nope

R/R: day 6 in a row of work complete! Hair appt tomorrow and bookshelf project this weekend.

CS/Q: definitely paying close attention to every sound, feeling and ache from my body this month. Also just realized that my DH will be out of country for a work trip during peak FW. don’t think -5 counts as the only HIO next month. Kinda bummed about that.

GTKY: The good girl, always responsible one in group of friends. Tennis and editor of yearbook 2 years. Also had my first job right after 16 and kept it through college working during fall and summer breaks.
  • @Augusta108 I  can relate about the friend piece. Not all in the group but definitely a few. So cool you work at the same place you started at.
  • Month/Cycle: 6

    CD/DPO: 21/9

    Typical LP Length: 10-12

Timing: I think good, starting to feel bad again at this time of the cycle, which happens every month.

Testing: BFN. I took a test TWICE yesterday. at 8 DPO. Ya'll, I need an intervention. Oh and I also took it again this morning.

    R/R:
This is my mood cycle within my cycle -
CD 1 "OH SHIT I got my period" cries, wine, wine, chips.
CD 4 "You know what, I GOT THIS" hio a lot
CD 12-CD18 "omg I don't want to hio anymore but I can doooo it"
CD 19-21 "I feel so good about this cycle, this is my TIME"
CD 21-25 "I suck, I'll never get pregnant" wine wine wine
    Repeat forever.

    CS/Q: psht

GTKY: Who were you in high school? I was kind of a wannabe skater gurl. I wore the biggest widest pants and the teeniest ironic t-shirts from Value Village. I was secretly a church good girl who really didn't do much "wrong."

  • @nimmle Congrats on crosshairs. I have never gotten them, and I do think that I "O." If I'm still here next month I'm going to start temping vaginally as my temps don't seem to make sense (and yes I'm taking them at the same time every day.)
@Augusta108 Love your musical you! Sorry you had shit friends. I think we've all been there.

  • @Augusta108 yay for temps bouncing back up. Seems like the TWW is progressing well. FX for you :) I'm sorry you had crappy friends. I was there too, I have only 1 friend that I still talk to from HS.

@And846 Hey DPO buddy! I am with you on the insane SS. Trying to calm down and not be BSC.

@mygoodlucycat Hang in there lady! Still early. I would recommend trying vaginally next cycle if you're still here. They have definitely smoothed out my temps as I am sometimes a mouth breather at night.
  • @nimmle Will you continue temping vaginally? I am such a mouth breather that I wonder if it would be way better for my charts to switch because I definitely get mountain ranges sometimes.
@Augusta108 Amazing how we put up with crap friends in high school because the fear of being a loner was so high! I would never be friends now with the people I was 'friends' with in high school - they were awful!
@And846 Boo for work getting in the way of HIO. FX this month is your lucky one and you won't need next month!
@mygoodlucycat I am right there with you on the POAS addiction - I have also been testing twice a day since 8dpo even though at this point I know it's a negative this month it's not going to stop me. I also have copious amounts of the cheap internet strips and tell myself (every month) I don't want them to go to waste and it's possible this month I'll get pregnant and then won't be able to use them all!

    Month/Cycle: 8/13

    CD/DPO: 27/11

Typical LP Length: I'm thinking it will end up being in the 12-13 day range now that I've been charting again.

    Timing: really good

Testing: Another BFN - I know AF is coming but that won't stop me from POAS!

R/R: Rant: Ugh pain in the ass employees - I have an ex-employee of one of my families who is upset and wants to take on the whole system to rectify the injustices within. Good lucky buddy. Rave: Only two days of work to go this week for me. I can do this.

CS/Q: Temps are still diving. Hoping AF shows on time tomorrow.

GTKY: Who were you in high school? I was super lost in high school and a bit of a chameleon. I would adapt who I was depending which friends I was with that day and what their interests were. I definitely had a bit of a rebellious streak and a boy problem. And I spent a lot of time hiding how smart I was and trying not to let anyone know that I got ridiculously high grades without trying at all thanks to my eidetic memory. I am so thankful I never have to do high school again - teenagers are awful.

  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 21/3

    Typical LP Length: 10

    Timing: pretty awesome I think!

Testing: Trying to hold out but...@mygoodlucycat I will also take a test at 8dpo because FAM setting on FF says I am like, 5 days DPO right now so I will justify it like that.

R/R: Rave: made some boss banana bread on try #2, and the gathering for this  morning was cancelled so now I get to eat it! RANT: now I have banana bread in my house that has CHOCOLATE chips in it because I was trying to get the kids all excited about it. I, too, am excited about it but I mean, its not good for me.

    CS/Q: nopers.

GTKY: Who were you in high school? Church girl. I spent upwards of 5 days a week at church between working there, volunteering, youth group, various fundraising dinners, band practice, etc, plus actual church on sundays. We had an awesome youth group.

@nimmle yay for crosshairs! Also I hear you on that extracurricular thing. As I have gotten older, it has been harder to stick with the same number of extra curriculars. Like, where did my time go?

@Augusta108 I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, even though you are trying not to keep your hopes up!

@And846 don't think about next cycle yet! And I hope you have fun with your bookshelf project!

Also @And846 and @nimmle DPO buddies!

  • @elolin I will continue temping vaginally going forward. I thought it was a bit weird at first, but now I'm over it. My temps were all over the place when I was doing it orally. Sorry about your BFN

@SmashJam Yay for another DPO buddy! I just played with my settings and my O day is the same regardless of which one I pick. How the FAM setting is different than the advanced setting?
  • ::lurking from WTO::

@nimmle yay for crosshairs! What is the connection between mouth breathing and oral temping, my friend said she stopped temping for that reason but I just assumed she meant she couldn't breathe if she tried to temp first thing in the morning, but does it actually eff up your temps? Do you have to clean it every day when you temp vaginally? I am admittedly lazy and do not clean mine every day after temping orally.
    *TTC History*

    Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017

TTC #1 October 2017: BFP on 12/1/2017, DD born 7/24/2018 @ 37+1 after induction due to preeclampsia

TTC #2 January 2020: AMA, dx with DOR in May 2020

    IVF July 2020: 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGT-A normal

    FET 10/7/20: BFP on 10/12/20!!! (EDD 6/25/21); First beta 10/16/20 (9dpt): 148; Second beta 10/19/20 (12dpt): 621; Third beta 10/26/20 (19dpt): 4732; Fourth (and final!) beta 11/2/20 (26 dpt): 22,000+

  • @legallykate If you are a mouth breather your temps could be lower because you've been breathing in cool air through your mouth. I don't always clean it every day but I will rinse of the thermometer every few days at least.
  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 20/6

Typical LP Length: FF says 13 days average

    Timing: -3.-2,-1

Testing:No. But I'm sort of considering CD 12 which is next Tuesday.

R/R: Rant: Trying to stop myself from day dreaming. I do this every TWW. I think about the due date, when we'd tell people etc etc Anyone else do this? Just sets myself up for disappointment. Rave: It's Wednesday, I have a half day Friday AND I'm not working this weekend. Yay!

    CS/Q: None

GTKY: I was very shy, nerdy and unsure of myself. I'm not shy or unsure of myself anymore, but still nerdy. ;) Let's just say that my adjustment to college was a rough landing for many reasons. Partially because of who I was in HS but also because I graduated HS from a SE Asian International School and then moved to Ohio for college. Talk about reverse culture shock!

  • @nimmle Glad to see you got your crosshairs! Also I know what you mean about HS energy vs. now. I had to wake up at 5:30 every morning in HS. I don't know how I did that, went to school all day. participated in activities, came home and did homework etc etc
@Augusta108 Sorry to hear you're feeling pessimistic. I feel like I swing back and forth between optimistic and pessimistic during the TWW>
@And846 I've also been trying to work around MH overseas travel. We were pretty much benched in Sept because he was on a trip. It is frustrating.
@mygoodlucycat I go through that same mood cycle every month!
@elolin Sorry to here about the BFN
@SmashJam When I first read your R/R I thought you wrote that your boss made banana bread and was thinking how nice! haha
  • @jaylii Seriously....and stay up til all hours of the night talking to friends too. smh

@nimmle I would be up late on some chat platform with friends. I can't remember what it was! I don't think I was on aim until college. Now I feel like I need to figure out what that dinosaur chat program was, haha

Edit: Just googled it and mashable has a fascinating article on the history of instant messaging. I used ICQ in high school. Oh man...
  • Mobile bumping this morning, so lots of love tits  <3 and will come back for tags later!  :)

    Month/cycle: 6/7 (1 benched)

    CD/DPO: 22/5

    Timing: pretty good

    Typical LP Length: 13-14

Testing: no plans (1 liners stress me out)

R/R:  Great run to start my day!

(Rant): @mygoodlucycat pretty much summed up exactly how I feel each cycle. And as @Augusta108 mentioned, I’m feeling fairly pessimistic at this point.  Trying to find a balance between hopeful and realistic, but it’s hard because TTC is such an emotional rollercoaster at this point. I May be in and out of the dailies over the TWW because sometimes it is just too anxiety-producing, especially since PMS symptoms usually arrive early for me.

CS/Q: Has anyone done the 21 day progesterone test (aka 7dpo)? Did you get your results right away? If your results were low, did your doctor prescribe something for the current cycle or not to begin until the following one?

GTKY:   Definitely overachiever like @nimmle! School council, sports, theater, & advanced classes.

  • Will be back for tags

    Month/Cycle: 3/3(1/1 al)

    CD/DPO: 29/13

    Typical LP Length:??

    Timing: Pretty good

Testing: BFN Monday so just waiting AF or I’ll retest Saturday

R/R: Yay for plumbers and a new toilet and kitchen faucet

    CS/Q: Nothing

GTKY: Who were you in high school? I was the awkward teachers kid who hung out with the weirdos. I was also the sole target of our class bully and his crew. #smallschoolproblems

  • Thanks everyone for the encouragement.

@canucklehead123 If I thought that I could do that, I totally would, but since I've started testing, I don't think I can stop...!
  • @mygoodlucycat yeah even as I sit here I'm like.... maybe I'll test Saturday morning.... LOL so much for Monday Challenge.

  • Coming back for tags :)

@nimmle I was the same way in HS, and I also cannot fathom that extreme involvement now.
@Augusta108 I loved Phantom!  My siblings and I would re-enact it at home--my parents sat through long (sub-par) productions!  :D
@And846 Yay for a hair appointment this week.  I love having my hair washed and styled.
@mygoodlucycat You described my cycle moods to a T!  ;)
@elolin Sorry for the pain in the behind ex-employee, but yay for only two more work days this week.
@SmashJam Yum!  Please share your banana bread recipe!
@jaylii As per your R/R, I used to do that all the time.  I've tried to stop myself because I feel sad when another cycle comes to an end.
@canucklehead123 Stay strong on the testing, my friend.  Also, what a wonderful trip to look forward to next week!   (I also stopped temping after confirming the rise and it does feel nice).
@kindbytealikat I'm glad you got your toilet and sink fixed!  We actually need to fix our sink, but have been dragging our feet. :/

  • @SmashJam I made my banana bread yesterday after seeing you post and mine does not have chocolate chips. I am now regretting the decision after seeing today's post. Also, next time I also won't forget to add nuts.
@jaylii I definitely do the daydream every. single. month. It gets so frustrating because I have it all worked out in my head and then have to change everything. This month I had visions of telling people at Christmas...so much for that theory! And omg ICQ - it was totally my jam in high school!
@canucklehead123 I do! It's definitely not at strong as it once was but it drives MH bonkers because I remember everything so he doesn't get away with much. I have faith in you staying strong until Monday! I failed miserably at waiting this month (and every month to be fair).
@dukestar5 The TWW sucks. Especially when every month is another let down. I definitely feel way more jaded about each month as things go along - I always expect the BFN.
@kindbytealikat Woohoo for new plumbing fixtures! The things we get excited about as adults....!
