My BF is technically from the weekend, but it is still bothering me. My step-mom asked me if i was "officially pregnant yet." Like WTF - i AM pregnant, just because I haven't had an ultrasound yet doesn't mean the baby doesn't exist. Maybe i'm just extra sensitive right now.

I forgot my frickin’ laptop at home this morning. Now trying to figure out if there is a loaner at the office, or if I need to go back home... I’m already over it this week.
@sunshineandwhiskey I probably would have had to resist the urge to throat punch her. @LaceyBee522 that sucks! Maybe if you have to go home to get it you can just work from home the rest of the day. You've been through enough.
My BF is MH. He tweaked his back some how and I am sure he is in pain but the constant moaning and groaning with every move he makes was starting to get on my nerves. He also wont let me try to massage it out because "he would die." I told him to just message his doc and see if they will give him some muscle relaxers.

My BF is my dad’s dryer. I’m staying at his house with the baby and pets until we can close on our house. I’m pretty sure this dryer came over on the arc. He’s got a wrench vice clipped to the control knob because there is no knob. I’ve been doing three loads of laundry since Saturday because the dryer takes like five cycles to dry the clothes completely.
@Austenista coukd be the old dryer but do you know when the last time the lint trap and vent hose was cleaned/vacuumed out? That can make a big difference in drying time (it's also a huge fire hazard..).
@sabby2 my dad emptied it for me on Saturday night when I mentioned to him that it was taking forever to dry. I’m not sure if that thing has ever been vacuumed out. It’s probably as old as I am and I’m 31.
@austenista I couldn't do that. I'd have to find a laundry mat, atleast for drying. I still air dry some clothes and they dry faster than that lol.
I'm going to bitch about the weather today. it feels like spring around here, not fall. so much rain the past couple weeks. I'm over it. I need sunshine in my life.

My BF is the ever popular daylight savings time with a small child, especially one who doesn't sleep well anyway. Apparently 3:30am is a good time to wake up and not go back to sleep. Tried everything for over an hour and resorted to nursing him in bed with me until 6 (a habit I'm REALLY trying to break...but I need sleep!). And I absolutely hate it when it's dark at 4:30am. BOO!!
Ugh! I'm with you on the DST!! @katelynrae86 Hopefully you will be able to rest at some point today!!

"Dear Lord, I would have loved to have held my babies on my lap & tell them about you, but since I didn't get the chance, would you please hold them on your lap & tell them about me?" All are welcome!
We went up north to my parents cabin this weekend with them and the kids. I told my mom and dad we were going back to the hospital this time. Mom said “good, we were going to give you some time before we let you know how we felt about that this time around. It’s the “mature” thing to do.” If felt like I was being scolded for my choices with the homebirth with my son. I just felt she completely devalued my birth experience with my son. I loved my home birth and it was completely the right choice for us.
I’m 32 and I wouldn’t do something to spite my mother. I didn’t make the decision to make anyone happy except myself and my husband. But good Lord she’s testing me.
@sunshineandwhiskey I hate when ppl say stupid crap like that, like it doesn't even sound right.
I'm still upset I had to spend $800 last week on new tires and an alignment. I'm also upset that MH made it seem like it was my fault for not doing it sooner. At the same time, I'm proud of me. I got it done. I had to stay at work until 10pm Thursday to make up the hours I missed.
I hate people who can't do their job. Especially when I've trained them...do it like I showed you so I don't have to repeat myself 100 friggen times about the same thing.
@catlady1215 me either. I was already invested before I realized the situation. I gave up on it this morning, yanked my wet clothes out of the dryer, and brought everything to my grandparents’ house to finish my laundry. I’ll do it there until I can go back home and use my own again. At least theirs has been purchased this century.
Ugh, my OB's office. The front desk lady is just so entirely clueless. I think partially I'm annoyed because this keeps happening. For instance, when I was scheduling my first appointment, I asked if there would be an ultrasound because I wanted to know if my husband should attend, and she said, "I cannot tell you if there will be an ultrasound or not because your doctor will decide in the moment based on how she feels if she wants to do an ultrasound or not." And it's like, lady, there's no way that's true (I was 8+4 at my first appointment, like, come the eff on. OB even said the front desk lady is nuts). ANYWAY, I have been told by multiple doctors and nurses that for just blood work or just an immunization you can just walk in and it'll take like 15 min, but I always call first just in case. When this front desk lady is on duty, though, Lord help me. I just want to come get my blood drawn for the Mat21 test, which I've already discussed with my doctor, and she put the order in, but this front desk lady "can't find a nurse" to ask if there's an order in the system and thus won't put me on the schedule yet to come in. It's not that big of a deal, but it annoys the isht out of me because I know she's unnecessarily complicating everything. And she just doesn't know the answer to ANY questions I have, at all. What is your purpose!
@doxiemoxie212 this sounds like my Endo's office. ridiculous office staff!! having a great dr is important but the staff is also so so important also.
and I'm just going to be over here jealous you can do the m21 already our genetic counseling office told me I had to wait till 11 weeks. having it done early this week, instead of later, would really help with timing and results etc

@catlady1215 Weird, IDK, my OB said any time after 10 weeks, so I'm going with it. From what I understand if they draw and there's not enough DNA, they'll re-run it at no extra cost...
I took off last Tuesday-Friday to stay home with DD, who had pinkeye. I took DS to daycare every morning to keep him away from her, as she cannot stay out of his face. I have used an entire can of Lysol and have stressed myself out to the max in an attempt to prevent anyone else in our house from getting it. DH decides, whilst she is still contagious, to let her sit in his lap and love all over him. Now he has pinkeye, on top of an ear infection, a sore throat, and a cough. He is dying. I have had absolutely no help with housework for nearly a week, and will probably not get any until he is completely better, which is probably a good thing, but doesn't help with my frustration. I feel pukey most of the time and am exhausted. I would just like a stand-in mom for like, maybe an eight-hour shift.
Update, nurse just called me back. This was the conversation:
Nurse: Hi doxiemoxie, this is a nurse from OBGYN office, how can I help you? Me: Oh, uh, I just want to get the materniT21 test done, and the front desk lady said I needed to talk to a nurse... which seemed odd? Nurse: Ugh, she's wrong. I will write her a note back. Obviously just come in, I'll put you on the schedule myself.
WHY DON'T DOCTORS OFFICES FIRE OR RE-TRAIN PEOPLE WHO ARE BAD AT THEIR JOBS CONSISTENTLY???? lol
my MBF is I actually woke up feeling okay. Left for work early and had time to go to the store and get breakfast. Dropped DD to her class and went to mine. Changed the worst diaper and had to immediately call for a break so I could go throw up. It took the girl sooo long to come to me and I almost didn't make it. And now I have felt terrible the rest of the day.
My BF is that I had my ultrasound on Thursday last week and was supposed to be getting a phone call from my doctors office to let me know when I need to set up my next appointment and still haven't heard anything!
My BF is that I was supposed to have my first ultrasound today but I wasn't able to. I called over a month ago to make my appointment and I sent over my insurance information and everything was set. I got there this morning and was told the clinic is in-network but the OB is not. So if I did my ultrasound today I would have to pay out of pocket. Now I'm 9 wks 1 d and I haven't had an ultrasound AND I have to scramble to find a new OB. I'm just so disappointed. I was ready to see my little one today
My BF is I spent all last night sneezing or blowing my nose, praying it was just allergies or pregnancy rhinitis or whatever, only to wake up with a sore throat that has steadily gotten worse. Why?? Where did you come from, illness??
@katelynrae86 I hear you on DST. My DD is also an early riser, so 4am is our new time, I sure hope she adjusts quickly!
@morristhecatmom that’s a frustrating situation. It frustrates me when parents think they can make decisions for us. You had children 30 someodd years ago, things have changed...
my and is Monday! Today was the definition of a Manic Monday. DD not getting out of the house in time, DH spilling my shake all over the front hall, student bumping into my coffee and spilling it, students not being responsible, music teacher had no supply so I got nonprep period, and DST + Pregnancy = I’m so tired I could cry... oh wait I did that too, thanks hormones!
I forgot my frickin’ laptop at home this morning. Now trying to figure out if there is a loaner at the office, or if I need to go back home... I’m already over it this week.
Ha! I did the same thing! Then I was told there was a loaner that would take “a few mins” to set up. I didn’t get it until 12:30!! Like dude...what a waste of both of our time. If you’d just said something I would’ve gone home and worked remotely. I ran errands near the office instead of doing actual work.
