How's that sweet lil fetus of yours doin'? She's good - size of zucchini and kicking around like a crazy girl.

How are you feeling? Good! Just trying not to freak out about how much my body is starting to change right now.

What's going on this week? Any appointments? Nothing this week but next Tuesday I have my A/S!!

Rants/Raves/Questions: I read that exercise helps with skin elasticity so I'm hoping that will help reduce what I'm sure will be a ton of stretch marks in my future.

He’s been super active this week—more than I remember DS being. Lots of kicks and jabs.

How are you feeling?
The Prevacid has tamed down the heartburn this week so I feel better but I have been lazy this week. I think I am productive in streaks.

What's going on this week? Any appointments?
Nope. Next appointment is at the end of November.

Rants/Raves/Questions:
I worry that DS isn’t going to understand in March and that I have no idea how to prepare him for the changes coming. And what if I’m not a good mom when I have two? Ha.

@mdfarmchick My mom had 4 kids in 5.5 years. You got this, I promise. The kids will adjust for each other and will love each other. It just sort of happens!

How many weeks are you? 21!

How's that sweet lil fetus of yours doin'? She's been wiggling and kicking and swishing all day. More energetic than me!

How are you feeling? Kind of crappy. I've got the weird deep ache in my shoulders and cheekbones that sometimes precedes some kind of illness. I just got off work and crawled straight into bed, ordering Korean on the internet for dinner. Just EXHAUSTED.

What's going on this week? Any appointments? My husband and I are supposed to finish painting baby's room tomorrow and possibly build our sweet new crib. Lots to organize! I hope I feel OK. No appointments til the end of Nov.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I got placed in the toughest assignment at work today (where we're equipped to deal with the sickest of the sick and therefore accumulate those kind of patients) and was so grumpy about it. My job is pretty physical, and I'm not a baby about hard work while pregnant, but I just feel like they should know better than to put the tired lady with big belly in the danger zone.

Me: oversensitivity (I cry and blush and get my heart rate up easily), totally embarassed me as a kid

She's doing good as far as I can tell, I'm feeling little movements (right now I swear she's either punching or kicking me straight in the gut). At the a/s it was sort of weird because I could see her moving around in there but I couldn't feel it which, once again, with my anterior placenta is normal

How are you feeling?

DD brought a cold home from school and it has gone through the whole house-she's currently getting over it, DH is in the middle of his man cold (eye roll) and DS and I both have the nasty cough and congestion. Thankfully (I guess?) I already had something like this a few weeks ago so I already asked my OB what meds I could take so I have them at home so when I got woken up with a coughing fit at 4:30AM I already had the Robitussin!

What's going on this week? Any appointments?

I had my a/s Monday!!!! I was so excited. Next week I have my 20 week check-up/heartbeat check. Since they're not doing internals yet both appointments are the same thing-listen to hb and measure belly.

Rants/Raves/Questions:

My mini rant is this- I am considered high-risk because of my auto-immune disease which is why I go for weekly hb checks until 26 weeks. I was really looking forward to not having to go every week after that because it's very difficult to work my work schedule around the appointments and I have a limited amount of sick time, plus because we are customer facing at my job if other employees are off on vacation time or whatever it could be bad with fewer employees. Well when I was making the rest of my appointments through December the nurse mentioned that I would need to start coming in again weekly at 32 weeks. I told her I hadn't heard that this pregnancy (when I met the MFM she told me that I would be in to see my OB weekly from 16-26 weeks) so I doubled checked the next day at my OB appointment. Apparently if I am considered high-risk, starting at 32 weeks they like to have you in at least once a week (depending on what makes you high risk) for a NST (non-stress-test where they strap the big belts around your belly to monitor baby's heartbeat and movement, and later when you're in the hospital to measure contractions). These take at least 30 minutes where all I do is lay there. 30 minutes. Every week. I understand I'm doing this for my baby and it's in her best interest but COME ON.

TL:DR I have to go in weekly again at 32 weeks and I'm complaining about working my work schedule around it.

Me: My bad eyesight and need for braces (and my ability to over-analyze)

How are you feeling? Kind of sick at the moment.

What's going on this week? Any appointments? No. A/S in 10 days though.

Rants/Raves/Questions: this pregnancy is SOOOOOO different from the last which makes everyone assume this will be a bit. But every pregnancy is different, even when they're the same sex. Like I get it, but geez lemme live!

Great! Lots of bumps and wiggles!

How are you feeling?

Pregnancy wise I have no complaints! I burned my foot last weekend and it is pretty severe pain. I'm hoping it's not much longer until the pain goes away... I opted not to take the pain killers they prescribed and just Tylenol but it doesn't do too much.

What's going on this week? Any appointments?

I have a consult/second opinion with a new MFM this week. I'm hoping it goes well!

I finished Christmas shopping this week lol! Thank you nesting!! I'm really looking forward to this holiday season, Thanksgiving included!

Lots of movement! Both kids have been able to feel it.

No appointments until the end of the month finally. I have been going every 2 weeks since six weeks along. My NP told me that's crazy and not to come back until the end of the month.

Rants/Raves/Questions:
My OB is such a twat that the nurse practitioner told me not to go back to her and just see midwives the rest of the time. She has basically been holding me hostage because I tried to switch obs.
