Hello all 
My DH arrived early on Oct 26th via c-section. She was 5lbs 10oz at 37w 2d. I am so grateful to all of you for advice and dialog via our community.  Many times I was a lurker and following for information.  For you mammas still waiting,  you definitely got this. Anyone else have a new arrival yet?

    Cpncongrats on your DH. We have a thread just for birth announcements, should be right at the top of the page.

    My son arrived 4 weeks early on October 28th. My water just broke randomly and by the next morning he was here. Dealing with a lot of feelings of guilt and he will not latch to me unless I use a shield. he was in the hospital one night for jaundice and lost a lot of weight the first week.  did you have any of the same problems?

    Congrats on the new baby!! Don’t feel guilty at all! We used the shield for a couple of weeks with my first who was in the NICU for 9 days. Be patient and know that it will all work out. BF can be hard and challenging. Stick with it!!

    My babes has a bit of jaundice,  but the doc said they were not concerned.  DD still uses the shield a bit, but we try to latch without it first.  Just trial and error, I just worry about her getting enough food.  I'd like to breast feed as long as possible.
