We are telling my family this weekend!! Super nervous, but really excited! Everyone knows we've been trying all year so it won't be a shock for anyone! Still don't know exactly how we are going to tell them, but we better figure it out by tomorrow.
I also have a bachelorette party tonight and my S and SIL will be there so I need an excuse to not drink. Might go with I have a headache (and that's not even a lie).

@MrsMiller8588 Aw yay! Have so much fun telling your family!!
I’m trying to figure out how best to hide the fact that I’m not drinking. Trying to hold off telling anyone until we have the ultrasound at 10 weeks. Not that I was ever a heavy drinker but definitely would have some wine at holiday parties and such. Hmm...any ideas for faking it?
Gun raffle tonight with my husband and some family and I can’t drink. Which is not a problem, I just hope no one notices!!! Maybe I’ll just claim DD! We’re also planning a Disney trip for January with a group of friends and all our kids, and are meeting tomorrow to get our fast passes! Super exciting! And also another day I won’t be having a glass of wine.... a few white lies are going to occur this weekend, I can just feel it.
Driving to this fancy dinner for my Aunt tonight. She’s being inducted into the State Bowling Hall of Fame, it’s pretty cool, but I am feeling sick. I hope it’s from lack of food and not motion sickness. This didn’t happen with DD it cannot. Happen. Now.
Ugh, nothing...I suck. Trying to work on cleaning out our family room in the basement because I think my older daughter will be moving her room down there to make room for this little bean. (She's been wanting to move down there for a couple months now...I'm not banishing her to the basement, haha). Going to dinner with my parents and grandparents tonight, and that's about it. Boo, I'm boring.
The nonstop baby/pregnancy/breastfeeding Facebook ads have begun. How do they know already?!
Facebook knows all. Always.
So true! My coworker told me the Facebook app uses your phones microphone to listen to you talk. I have no clue if it's true, but wouldn't entirely surprise me.
My husband is working all weekend unfortunately. I've been trying to get some cleaning done around the house today but it's hard with a toddler. Currently lying in bed while he naps, my very favorite weekend activity. Tonight is a party at a friend's house, at which I will have to swap wine glasses with my husband so no one questions why I'm not drinking. Likely won't do anything tomorrow, besides errands and hanging with the kiddo. And hopefully another nap
My son woke up from his nap with a fever so no more party tonight. Is it bad i'm kind of a tiny little bit glad? Of course I don't want my baby to be sick, but now I don't have to put pants on, and he's so cuddly and low key when he's not feeling well. And, did I mention no pants?
I’m feeling really irritated about everything today.... gah. I need to be left alone for a while to regroup, but instead I get to spend the evening with my over tired kids at my mil’s. B*tch b*tch, moan moan....
I'm working on homework, not very exciting. Dreading daylight savings tomorrow because it means my son will most likely be up around 5 am.

For those of you that get betas drawn, is that standard practice for your doctor or something you requested?

@coco2787 it's not so much standard practice unless you had some sort of assisted fertility, loss history, early pregnancy risk factors, etc. I have heard of people requesting it from their doctors though I never have, mine were mandatory.

Thanks, I knew they were done if people have higher risk factors but wasn't sure if it was something anyone could get done.

Didn’t get to see Thor. The only open seats for the 10 and 10:30 showing were in the front row and my pregnant butt is not handling dizziness well anyways so I don’t need that in my life.
Ugh screw you daylight savings time. I was looking forward to sleeping in. Everyone in the house (INCLUDING MY SEVEN YEAR OLD) are sound asleep. Here I am, wide awake because 9:30pm on a Saturday night is the perfect time to pass out. Growing a human is hard work ladies!
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
We got family pictures yesterday morning. And I am trying to get things ready for DS’s first birthday party! But motivation seems hard to come by this weekend.

@christycalifornia You buy a ticket for like $20 and it has a number on it. On the ticket is a list of guns being raffled off. It’s usually a benefit for a fire department or hunting club (last night was for a fire department). You go to their hall and they provide food and beer, it’s like a social event. We didn’t win anything but I did win $150 on a pulltab!
Update: I liked the Caine’s sauce with everything except the chicken. It was especially good with the Texas toast. Their chicken and fries are amazing. Maybe I will fell differently when I am not pregnant.
My H and I are at a wedding in Palm Springs! Staying at a really nice resort and my parents (who live down the street) have been watching my baby. So nice to sleep in. I took advantage of DST ending and woke up early and read a book uninterrupted. Heavenly!
Obviously couldn't drink at the wedding last night and we aren't ready to tell our friends. I had sparkling water with a lemon in a wine glass all night and no one was the wiser. Looked like a vodka soda to them. Then for the toasts, I put the glass of champagne to my lips but didn't actually drink it. Then H would switch glasses with me so it looked like it. So many little tricks to get around it.

One of my best friends did the champagne trick at New Years. No one knew!
Me and DH had our first date night since getting married in August. I have two kids from a previous marriage so it was so nice to finally go out just by ourselves without little ones interrupting us every few seconds.
