It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Can anyone else help me to get @BumpAdmin to sticky the thread?

Sunday morning (10-8-17) I woke up kind of crampy and stomach was in a tight ball. My pain usually is better while I walk around so I cleaned the bathrooms and did the laundry. I started to not feel well and was nauseous and had a bad headache so I decided to take a shower. I went to the bathroom and wiped myself and stood up to take off the rest of my clothes and I felt a trickle of liquid down my leg. I immediately made sure I was over the toilet again and there was a small gush (1 cup) of clear liquid. I wasn't sure if it was my water breaking our not so we got in the car and headed to OB triage. They tested the liquid and they said it was not amniotic fluid and tested my urine to see if it was a bladder infection (all tests were negative). I was upset because I felt silly for not knowing if my water broke or not. They saw a lot of irritability on the monitor so they gave me two IV bags and it made it worse. I went from 2 to 3 to 4 cm in 1.5 hrs. They just gave me a steroid shot for lung development and are sent me up to labor and delivery. I had a lot of contractions but nothing consistent and the ones I was having were only about 30 seconds long each. But the pain started coming in my back so I ordered the epidural. Even though the contractions still weren't consistent I seemed to progress very fast until I got to the 7-8 cm mark. They decided to go ahead and break my water and sure enough 30 minutes later and eight pushes little Miss Emery Skye was born 10/9/17 at 3:13am (36 weeks on the dot) at 6 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. She is doing great and is passing her tests with flying colors. Just have a few more to do today but it looks like we may be on track to leave tomorrow.
Our twins arrived this afternoon via emergency csection at 34+4. I arrived in active labour with contraction’s 3 minutes apart and 5cm dilated. The twins started to have heart rate decells during contractions so it became a rush to get them out.
Annabelle Rose (Belle) weighed 4.7lbs and Theodore David (Teddy) weighed 4.2lbs. Both babies are in the NICU on CPAP to help with their breathing. I haven’t met them yet I will get to go in the morning when I have full feeling back in my legs but have heard that they are comfortable and doing really well so far.
Finally have time to post this. Our November baby became an October baby. Water broke on 10-20 and baby Maggie Irene made her appearance at 525 am on 10/21 with a full head of blond hair and weighing just 5 lbs and 5 oz. I was 35+2 so she has had a few challenges but we are completely in love and are adjusting to life at home.
Nicholas Rishi was born October 14th at 37+3. Went to the hospital per OB's advice in the afternoon on October 13th because I thought my water was leaking. Turns out it was the rest of the mucus plug ( ). Left hospital around 5:00pm and returned around 10:30pm with contractions about 4.5 minutes apart.
I was only dilated a fingertip around 430pm and a full 5cm by 10:30pm!
Almost had an emergency C-section because his heart rate dropped precariously twice, but thankfully, he behaved and we had a great delivery.
We are so love and can't believe he is finally here!

Hi LAdies! Sorry for the delay in updating! Sunday night I was having a hard time falling asleep (not unusual) as I was laying in bed I felt my water break. I knew right away. We arrived at the hospital around 12:30 where triage said he was head down and estimated I was maybe 1 cm dilated but cervix was still high. I was admitted and labored all night working towards my VBAC. At some point a NICU NNP Came in to explain the complications they expect with a 34 week baby, which was a tough/scary discussion. They checked my cervix around 4, still high and she wasn't even able to measure my dilation. Shortly thereafter, my contractions started getting very painful. I requested my epidural and got it around 6. When the nurse checked me again at 6, I was easily a 7 or 8, but she felt a foot / leg instead of a head and I was rushed into a c-section. Grant was born around 7 am at a miraculous 6lbs and 18". I was discharged Thursday but he remains in the NICU until he can eat on his own - currently taking most meals through a feeding tube. He is really doing amazing for being born at 34+4.
Can't believe our November baby is an October baby! My water broke at 38 weeks to the day, just a slow trickle that became heavier, around 8pm (thought at first it was my mucus plug, but it became obvious it was my water as I started soaking through pads). My midwife gave me the option of coming in then or seeing if labor would progress so I spent the night cleaning our house and getting ready, slept for 2 hours and then went to the hospital at 7 the next morning. Found out I was 4cm which really surprised me because I was 4cm when I was checked into the hospital with my son and I suffered through a ton of contractions to get there. With this one, I felt no contractions, no pain, nothing. We ate pizza, watched The Young Victoria, and they got me started on a low level of pitocin and I quickly fell asleep. Woke up, got my epidural. It was strange because I really wasn't feeling any contractions/pain, but I knew I didn't want to deal with pitocin contractions without the epi. We had a nice leisurely day waiting for things to pick up. At 10pm, I was completely dialated, pushed for 2 songs, and then met our sweet baby boy, Theodore. He was 7lbs, 9 ounces and just beautiful! I was amazed at how painless the entire experience was as I have heard quite a few horror stories of inductions, pitocin, and c-sections. I thought my first delivery was relatively easy, but I still had a rought night of early labor before I got the epidural. I've never heard of having a baby with zero pain so this amazed me! Excited to head home with our little guy!
Hunter Jacob was born yesterday, 10-27 at 19:58, 7lb 8oz, 20 inches long. I woke up at 5:30 and thought "ok, this better be the real deal". Got DD off to school, finished something in the nursery and headed go breakfast near my midwife. Contractions were 6-8 minutes apart. My midwife had us come in for a check and I was 5cm, she did a sweep and sent us to the hospital. Got my antibiotics right away, labored in the room until 7+cm Then went to the tub. He was born a little over an hour after my water broke. Pushed 3 times during a contraction and he was Earth side. He was 37+2 so the 24hr discharge isn't really feasible since testing is done at 24hrs.
Our little one arrived a week early, in the early hours of October 30. A girl (gender was a surprise)- Charlotte Hennessey, 6lbs 13oz, 20” long, and a full head of long dark hair. At least we know what all that heartburn was about!
Following along our adapting birth plan fate a failed ECV we were to see a specalising breech birth team at another hospital (not all only 2 hospitals offer breech birth because of training) This was scheduled for Monday. We were sent for a split growth scan on Thursday (26th) to check AFL and placenta function And we're booked to check growth the following Thursday 2nd This scan showed not only a dramatic drop in AFL from 10 days earlier but a drop below safe levels we were sent to the hospital and admitted booked for an elective c section on the emergancy listing
Tiny but mighty At 3:19 a 2.54kg (5lb5oz) 49cm long uterine growth was surgically removed on friday 27th october A little girl She was breathing on her own but they did put her on oxygen for 15 min to assist she weighed just enough to stay out of special care And did really well to stay out . Monitored close for the first 24hrs she checked all the boxes including maintaining her own temp
She had a small placenta and basically no fluid left

Baby Nora was born at 38 weeks 1 day on Oct 30th. Was induced due to preeclampsia and after a very long labor she decided to come out before we even started pushing! I had contractions for about 24 hrs but had trouble progressing and all the sudden felt a contraction and she slid right out of the birth canal right as i told the nurse i think i feel the head. Luckily she was caught just in time and is a healthy 7lbs 6oz and 20& 1/2 inches long
@AndieTessie aww that's what our babygirl is going to be named this time around. Congrats. Congrats to all you momma's. My Nora is due 11/9/17 already between 3-4 cms so it's just a waiting game.
Meet Amelia Kate born 11/2/17 at 11:50am. I was 37 weeks 2days. She weighs 6 pounds 7 ounces and is 19 3/4 inches. She was born via csection due to some heart issues I was having. First csection, overall went smoothly. Baby had some issues transitioning with breathing but overall perfectly healthy.
Congrats to all of the moms who have given birth, but we don't know half of you. Perhaps try introducing yourself on the intro thread and participating in some of our discussions.

Mackenzie Rose was born on Nov 2nd weighed 6lbs 13 oz & 20.5 in via repeat c section ( I was 37wks+1D). She is very healthy and strong. I am doing good but recovering slower this 2nd time.
Miss Kara Grace came in to the world at 2:08am Nov 6. My water broke at home at Nov 5 at 1:30 am no contractions but went to the hospital. They kept me and started a pic drip around lunch time. Baby had some late d-cells so was it was touch and go with the words c section flying around but after contacting the obgyn so felt a c section was not needed. Started hard labour around 9:30 around 11:30 started to push. 2 and half hours later she was here. The cause of the late d-cells was her cord around her neck. Mommy and baby are both doing great she was 39 weeks.
Baby girl finally came yesterday. Man it was a huge amount of work and long long day but she is the most beautiful little human and she takes my breath away. She weighed 6lbs and 11oz ans 19 inches in length with a head size of 31 ( man getting that head out waa a work). She came right on her due date at 10:38pm.
Posting a little late... Falon Eve was born Oct 30th at 1am. She was 5lbs 14oz and 19 1/2 inches long. I was induced early at 39 weeks due to Gestational diabetes. It was an unexpectedly quick process -4hrs from starting cervadil to delivery. My Dr did not even have enough time to make it back to the hospital, and ER Dr was paged but didn't make it up to the floor in time. She was delivered by the wonderful nurses on the L&D unit. It has been a whirlwind since with a newborn and (almost) 2 yr old. She is absolutely perfect.
After 3 days and multiple attempts at induction, our rainbow baby arrived 11/9/17 @ 2:12am weighing 7lbs 8oz. My blood pressure was getting dangerously high and needed to be treated with meds and a magnesium drip. It’s still slowly coming down and we are all doing great!
Adalynne Kate was Born 11/4/17. She weighted 7pounds and 7.1 ounce and was 20 inches long. She was early. Original due date was 11/19 but due to high blood pressure I had to be induced. Thankful for a perfect healthy beautiful girl! love seeing all these sweet new babies!
Nora was born 11/09 at 2:44am at 9LBs 1 OZ 19 1/2 inches long. Contractions start 11/08 at my doctors appointment that morning they continued through the afternoon and died off early evening. By dinner time they had started again but were not anything that i couldn't handle I kept timing them and they got down to 7-8 mins apart I was told because it's my second go when they have any rythem especially already being 4 cms and 80%. So I messaged a friend what she thought because I didn't want to be turned away and sent home since I wasn't in any real pain. She said she would take me so husband could stay at work and just come if they want to admit me. Got to hospital walked in got me in a room checked me and nurse immediately said oh my call your husband your 8 cms and I can feel her head. Things got rushed then called him nurses started flooding the room getting me into the system and baby station set up etc. I went up to 9 and then stalled for awhile they put me in a few different positions and I went to 10 nurse said do a practice push and instantly said stop she's right there do not push. Hurried and got doctor in pushed through three contractions and she was here.
Kellan James Pyper was born yesterday at 11:55am. He was taken to a different hospital because he swollowed amniotic fluid and has a possible lung infection. We are getting discharged and off to see him, he will be there around 10 days. Praying for quick healing for our little man!
UPDATE:. Kellan is now eating and breathing on his own & waiting to hear about infection after spinal sample
Lynley Erin was born on 11/10 at 2:50 pm. She is 6 lbs 15 oz. I was induced due to low platelets and had to have a transfusion at 4 cm. Went from 4 cm to 6 cm in about 20 mins then progressed from 6 cm to 10 cm in like 10 mins. By the time they received my platelet levels back to see if they were high enough to have an epidural, it was too late for one. Two pushes and she was out. We’re both doing well. She had some low blood sugars and they are monitoring my platelets but if all continues to go well, we’ll be able to go home tomorrow!
Our Princess Skylar was born today 11/11/17 @ 1:06pm weighing 8lbs 5oz and 21.5 inches long at 40+1. I was scheduled to be induced next Wednesday but she came on her own. Friday around 1030pm I started having contractions 9 minutes apart and they then decreased to 5 minutes apart. I contacted doctor around 1130pm and was told to go to hospital. I arrived at hospital around 2am and was officially admitted around 530am and started on potocin as I was only 3cm dilated and 80% effaced. Unfortunately Skylar's heart rate would dip with each contraction. Around 1245pm her heart rate dipped to 46 and the doctor was immediately called to perform a emergency c section. By 1:06pm she was out. Unfortunately I have not been able to hold her because she swallowed amniotic fluid and meconium. She is now on oxygen in NICU as because her o2 sat keeps dropping below 90. They hope she doesn't develop pneumonia and have been working to suction the fluid out. I'm not sure what happens next but we will see what tomorrow brings. We are just happy she is here and overall appears to be healthy!
Miles Thomas was born on 11/10 at 2:28am. Labor was way too fast to get an epidural but luckily he was out in just a couple pushes! 7lbs 10 oz and 19” long super healthy and he has been such a sweetheart. His big brothers are in love and we are heading home from the hospital now!
Luke William Joseph (2 middle names) was born November 9 at 3:38 AM (almost the same time as @cwalker042). 7 lbs 4 oz, 20 1/2 inches long. I am in complete love.
I was a TOLAC. Over the night of the 7th-8th, I think my water started breaking. It definitely broke at about 9 AM on the 8th. Went into the hospital right away, labored for what seemed like forever until I got the epidural at 5 PM (I only had gotten to like 4 cm at that point, they kept calling it prodromal/early labor, not active - ha!). After the epidural I laid in bed completely comfortable until I finally made it to 10 at like 1 AM when they had me start pushing. I pushed for over an hour and finally the doctor said that my pelvic bones were too narrow and that his head was sticking out like a cone and swollen and was not going to make it through. So I had to be wheeled in for a c-section. It was actually a rather awful surgery. My first section was painless and I was just really drowsy, this time I was wide awake and aware of being strapped down and incredibly uncomfortable on the table. But recovery has been fine. We got home on Monday afternoon.
Team green turned team pink on 11/16 at 3:24pm via rcs. All is great. Spinal failed the first time and it took multiple jabs to to get the IV in but the staff was awesome, and relaxed the whole time!
