I wish I could actually relate it. I a TTC for years. So, that's why It's not easy for me to relate. Anyway, there is a home remedy of getting aware of your pregnancy..I've heard this from a friend, it needs you to collect your urine in a bottle or vessel like you would for a normal urine test. Then leave it untouched for about 3-4 hours. If white film forms on the surface of the urine, chances are you may be pregnant. If there is no change in the urine and it remains clear, you are not pregnant. By this method, you'll get to know that are you pregnant or not. Secondly, I've studied on the internet that as many as 99% of these home tests are accurate. So, you don't have to be unsure after finding out about one's result. Plus, if you want to have more reliable results, wait to take the test until one week after your missed period. I hope this all can help you; I also think that it would be the best feeling ever...xoxo
Well this is insane. People reading this post: please don't do this. Just go get a test. They're 88 cents at Walmart, or even cheaper on Amazon (Wondfos).
It's irresponsible to give advice like this on a forum that values science above, well, this nonsense.

Thanks. I'm sure we're all quite capable of googling for ourselves. You're just full of super-useful knowledge that no one who's KU or TTC has ever thought of before.
And by "much more accurate" you must mean "actually accurate," as opposed to a cup of urine on the counter, which is 0 percent accurate.

Thanks for the advice! This sounds so much easier than taking a HPT!
I didn't get any symptoms until my 7th week. Just tested yesterday (2 days before 8th week) and got 4 positives on ClearBlue, Walmart Life brand and Early Response digital !! Confirmed at doctors office today.
So a few things 1. I’m cautious because we went through a miscarriage in June days after finding out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. 2. It’s pretty early, about 3 weeks 3. These positives took about 5 minutes to show, but here they are! I have an appointment for next Tuesday
I may have tested a couple days early to watch for a change. I see the line in the top of 3, and the clear blue is a bit faint but you can see it in person, and if you put the picture into a negative effect. The top one in the group of 3 and clear blue is 14 dpo. The other 2 are 12 and 11 days dpo.
Tested 1 day after missed period. Had a feeling I was pregnant a few days before but didn't get my hopes up. After many misscarrages and dreadful 2WW's after IVF and I would NEVER test before a missed period again. You'll know for sure in a matter of days anyway so don't put yourself through it. That way it doesn't really matter what test you take.

@jcoates81 I think it looks like an indent line or evap line. If you didn't, test again with first morning urine. It's weird to me that the line isn't centered.
First test on top of the picture was taken two days ago around 5PM. Second one yesterday morning. Third yesterday after 5PM. Fourth at 9:30 PM yesterday. This morning it was negative again. On top of that I am spotting and the period should be here tomorrow . Is it a chemical?

This is my first time posting in here. I am a little new at this. Hello! I am also new to taking pregnancy tests and am a little unsure if these are positive. I just don't want to get my hopes up and it turns out to be a false positive. I am 3 days before my expected period. Any input is appreciated! Thanks.
@carmenthepeach to me they look positive. Now you just have to monitor if they are getting darker which means the hcg levels are rising. But I would schedule a blood test if I were you, that one doesn't lie

@marioana99 The lines shade could truly depend on your hydration level, and how long you have held your pee. Spotting can be from many things. The best advice anyone can give is to call your OB and see what they advise.

top was yesterday morning bottom is from this morning. Fiance swears there's nothing there but I see it. We had a miscarriage a few months ago so he thinks I'm just hoping it's there so much that I'm just seeing things
Thanks for the feedback! I'm still not sure I believe it. I'm going to use a FRER again on the 20th (when I had originally planned to test), but I used a Wondfo this morning and I'm not sure if it's a line or just where the line would be. Pic in spoiler (also, sorry for the messiness of my counter- it's cleaning day and the kitten had parked himself there before I shooed him away so I could test in peace).

@jsnakehole That's definitely a positive Wondfo. That's what my line looked like with my last pregnancy at 10dpo. Totally understand you not wanting to get your hopes up though especially with such a faint line. I've got my hopes up for you! What a wonderful Hanukkah present that would be.
@offtoneverland@izza2 I'm still kind of having trouble believing- what if that's just an indent or something? I feel like I'll believe Abraham Lincoln time travelled over a flat Earth to assassinate JFK before I believe I'm pregnant.

Trust me, I was in that same position! I took another 3 Wondfos and my only FRER at 10 DPO, because I wanted to make sure it was within the time frame, and it wasn't an indent line, or just a bad batch of Wondfos. *hugs*
Both tests have a pink line, versus a white line, or a gray line, or any other colour. Even faint, it's pink, and that's perfect! It's going to be difficult to believe - especially considering how long you've been TTC, but, today your tests are gorgeous, and you are pregnant! *hugs and dancing*
Trying to conceive for 3.5 years and this happens the month my IVF cycle was cancelled...can’t believe it. Waiting to hear what bw says, and trying to stay calm!!
