I thought it might be helpful to start an on-going thread where we can share quality resources we've found with one another (such as books, youtube videos, articles, etc.) since it seems easier to just refer back to one thread than to try to remember if someone suggested something interesting in Randoms, Symptoms or Questions, etc.

I found https://www.lucieslist.com/ to be incredibly helpful when I was creating a registry for my first! It has thorough reviews and comparisons of different products/brands/price ranges all in one place.
I consult it any time I’m thinking about getting new baby/toddler gear!

It's a prenatal class taught by a midwife in Canada. I honestly have no idea how I came across it, but YouTube suggested it. It's pretty long, but it's really interesting. I'm fairly certain it's geared more toward women interested in med-free birth, but even though I'm not sure I'm going that route, I found it really interesting just to understand more about pelvic shapes (I'd never heard of that before), and how your nerve setup can affect how painful you personally find birth to be. There are two additional videos - one on labor/delivery, one on post-partum care.

I second this. I read it with my last pregnancy and I thought it was a really helpful book- It cuts through all the pregnancy warning BS, and cites scientific research to support all of the authors points. It's the only book I'd read if I had to it do over again!

The Happiest Baby on the Block has been an amazing resource for us. It explains the fourth trimester and really helped me to understand WHY my baby was doing what he was and helped me to deal. And the 5S method is life saving! We swear by it. I also recommend Wonder Weeks (both a book and an app).

The Wonder Weeks app is great for navigating the ups and downs of outside babies. It gives you alarms for developmental leaps so you have a heads up when LO will be fussy or struggling.

Car Seats for the Little’s is an excellent resource! Run by car seat safety technicians, the site is full of info on proper car seat use as well as being able to compare all the recommended car seats available. You are also able to message them, or join their fb group to ask questions specific to you. Highly recommended!

Bumpology - the myth-busting pregnancy book for curious parents to be by linda Geddes. The author is a scientific journalist writing for New Scientist so she assesses the evidence with no obvious agenda.

I also referenced lucieslist.com a lot while pregnant with DS and when he was tiny for gear reviews/suggestions.

My recc: A local Facebook group for parents of infants/toddlers/preschoolers resource for finding pediatricians, OBs, lactation support groups, daycare, preschools, etc. (Look for a large active one.) This could also be a place to find playgroups/meet ups.

I have really enjoyed listening to The Longest Shortest Time podcast and I’ve learned a lot from it. It addresses very interesting topics in pregnancy and childhood. If anyone else had good podcasts, I’d love to hear about it. I’m always looking to improve my commute.

+1 for Kellymom, Lucie's List and Natural Hospital Birth

Also, Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. I did Hypnobabies with my DS and had a med free birth. Between that and reading Natural Hospital Birth & Ina May's book, they were all super valuable.

After DS was born and we were interested in sleep training, this website helped me SO much on wake times. Wake times made a HUGE difference in helping DS nap at appropriate times and stop catnapping:
