I had a gp appointment today for blood draws and an ob referral. He got my ultrasound results expedited apparently because of the twins. Measuring a full week behind lmp. Hope everything is okay.
@asun123 - So sorry for your loss, take care of yourself.
@kbrown2385 - Chances are, if your growth is on track between ultrasounds, you ovulated later than you think. It's definitely possible you geared up to ovulate but didn't end up actually O'ing until later on.
@kbrown2385 I’ve been measuring behind as well and tracked through ovulation tests. I’m also thrown because of when I got my positive pregnancy test. I was measuring a week and 2 days behind what I thought it should be. I have an ultrasound tomorrow, which is so incredibly nerve wracking because the heartbeat was slow last week. I’m trying to remain hopeful since there was growth between ultrasounds in the prior weeks. Fingers crossed tightly that both of our babes are just starting on their own time and are healthy.
I don't think I shared this here: I went for betas on Friday and again yesterday morning because of some minor spotting Thursday evening-Saturday morning. Friday's beta was 9,900; Monday's was 15,500. So about every 100 hours for a doubling time, which is where it generally is once you're above 6000 from what someone shared with me.
I wish it was higher, because I'm a worry-wort, but it's headed in the right direction!
First appt is still 11/8, and then my first u/s will be 1-2 weeks after that.
Had my ultrasound yesterday. Measuring right on track. One cool thing my OB's office has started doing is putting the ultrasounds on a CD for you vs. printing them out. You bring the CD back each ultrasound and they upload the latest pictures. Much easier for storage than the ultrasound paper.

Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
Had my first visit Monday due to some bleeding over the weekend. They took blood to test my HCG levels prior to my first official appointment which is Thursday. They called today and said they would do an ultrasound Thursday because they should be able to see something (6+2 on Thursday) which sounded great, until I got home and have more bleeding, in larger quantities, and more red in color which is making me feel like this is the end. Dramatic, I know. I ate the rest of the thin mints in our house and ordered pizza since I can't drink wine until any news is confirmed Thursday. Feeling discouraged.
@BurlapandLace I have my first ultrasound on Thursday, too! Excited to finally find out when I'm actually due since I'm pretty much just guessing at this point.

My babe is still growing!! Had my OB apt this am. I right away asked for the Doppler. She tried for a sec and it didn't work, so she pulled out her old ass ultrasound machine that was shoved in a corner somewhere. (She did this for my last loss also. She loves me lol). She saw the HB right away. Machine was so old that I couldn't. But I saw legs kicking! She said babe was very active. She measured and I'm exactly where I should be, 9+6 HB: around 150.

I had my first midwife appointment today. so finally found out which team of ladies I have. Also got my first u/s booked for next Thursday we tried to find the heartbeat with her doppler but could not she heard the placenta immediately and right at the front though so thinking baby was hiding behind. And she said placenta sounded healthy. I cannot wait for next Thursday to see baby and find out an accurate EDD.
Thank you ladies for your comments this week! During the ultrasound this morning Baby B was still in there with a heartbeat of 113! When the tech pointed out where everything was and all I could say was "It's still in there?" because I honestly was expecting them to tell me there was nothing to see. I feel so much better now that I know there is a heartbeat. Can't wait for the next 4 weeks to go by so during my next appointment we can hear it
So, while bleeding is scary (especially lots of bleeding!) there is still hope!
I had my first appointment last Wednesday, when I thought I was 8 weeks 3 days. Turns out I was only 7 weeks 1 day, but the baby is measuring on time for that with a strong heartbeat at 148. My OB said everything was going great. Just have to roll back my ticker fruit. Got my flu shot, gave a blood sample and urine sample, cervix check, STD check, and generally poked and prodded in every way, shape, and form. Glad for it, though.
My prayers to everyone whose heart is hurting right now.
Had my ultrasound yesterday! We were able to see the heartbeat and everything! I thought I was around 7 weeks but they measured and said I was more like 6 weeks so it looks like my due date will be June 28th. AKA I will probably have the very last baby out of the group because both my boys were about a week late. So happy/relieved

Just got back from my first appointment and ultrasound. Everything looked great! I am measuring right on target based on LMP (8+4), even though I KNOW I ovulated a week later. I consistently measured a week ahead during my last pregnancy, too, so I really think I'm actually 7+4...but I guess for now, I'll stick with my OB's estimated due date, which is 6/11 instead of 6/17.
I also got my flu shot, and my arm already hurts.
