  • 1. How many weeks are you? 15 weeks! An orange

    2. How are you feeling? Good! I wouldn't even know I'm pregnant if I wasn't slightly larger and peeing more.

    3. Any appointments coming up? Quad screening (just a blood draw) either this week or next.

    4. Rants, raves, questions? Hmmmm... anyone go through something stressful while pregnant? Did you worry you were hurting your baby? How did you practice coping methods?

    5. GTKY: No Halloween plans. I'll be home alone most likely so I don't even know if I want to answer the door, but maybe just handing out candy if anything. I have bought clothes for baby, both new and second hand. I'm holding off on buying stuff because I have 2 people who have asked if I wanted their baby stuff, which I plan on getting around thanksgiving.
  • 1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 16 weeks, baby is the size of a can of Spam, lol

    2. How are you feeling? - After mostly avoiding morning sickness during the 1st trimester, it has made a very unwelcome appearance the past few days. Ugh!

    3. Any appointments coming up? - None until 11/18

    4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions? - We found out this week that we're having a boy and have been floating on cloud 9 ever since!

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween? -
Haven't bought a single thing for baby yet, but now that we know the sex, we'll probably start decorating the nursery. As fae as Halloween, not dressing up this year as we are out of town for DD's cheer competition and will be missing all the parties this weekend.

    4. Nothing this week.

    1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 14 weeks, peach

    2. How are you feeling? - Better! I haven't thought I was actually going to throw up in quite some time and my energy level is improving, too. Yay!

    3. Any appointments coming up? - None until next week

    4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions? - I know this is a touchy subject for many women, but my weight gain has been more so far this pregnancy than it has been in previous pregnancies. It's still within the limits of an "appropriate" amount, but it worries me because typically I gain most all of it after 20 weeks... and still make it to a total gain of 35 or 40 pounds. Hoping everything evens out this pregnancy.

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween? -
Haven't bought anything for baby #4 yet because my husband insists we wait until 20 weeks to find out the sex (grumble). When I found out baby #3 was a boy, I gave away all my baby girl clothes to a mom who needed them because we were "done." Whoops. Otherwise we shouldn't need too much. Doing a quick trick or treat with the kids on Halloween but nothing crazy - it's a school night!

    15 weeks, avocado.

    2. How are you feeling?

I am generally feeling better but still some sickness in the evenings. My lower back is killing me.
    3. Any appointments coming up?

    No, none until mid November.

    4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween?

We bought a few clearance baby girl clothes the day we found out the sex. But nothing since then. Since our youngest is 18 months we really don't need anything big. For Halloween we will take the kids trick or treating. The baby is being a fireman and my oldest wants to be the guy from assasign creed?

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween?
glider rocker and ergo both awesome deals. For Halloween taking kids trick or treating. Uneventful otherwise. I’m hoping it’s a bit warmer or we will just do one block then come home for hot cocoa!!
  • 1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby?
18 weeks - approx 5.5" head to rump

    2. How are you feeling?
Lots of sciatica pain, sleeping is getting uncomfortable... Going to be a long 22 weeks.

    3. Any appointments coming up?
    Mid November.

    4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?
    Loving the daily movements now.

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween?
No purchases. We have everything we needed from DS. We were green with DS and this one as well so all the clothes are neutral up to about 6months so we should be good for a while.
We don't do Halloween so no plans that way.

@viggie17 my grampa died 2 days after I got this bfp and then my husband quit his job a month ago and is trying to build up his own business now. So I've have 2 pretty stressful events. As far as advice, my mom told me it's OK to feel. It's OK to experience to chaos. Just don't pack it all away. Internalizing and not processing causes more stress. Is that all true I  don't truly know, but it has helped me get through my tough times and baby is doing just fine. :)

  • 1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby?
18 weeks, baby is artichoke sized.

    2. How are you feeling?
Still doing well! I'm getting nervous about being a FTM but also getting so excited. It is starting to feel real!
    3. Any appointments coming up?
I had one Friday that went well. Next one is in 4 weeks.

    4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?
    Feeling little movements and kicks!!!

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween?
Just a stuffed animal souvenir from our babymoon. Nothing practical yet. I worked on the registry yesterday though.

    @jem84
Love the family costume ideas! That sounds so cute!

@viggie17 I agree with dirtyboots. If you are stressed, just telling yourself not to feel stressed for the baby won't make it go away. Try to be easy on yourself, but also make time for whatever activity best relaxes you.
  • @dirtyboots oh my gosh the sciatica pain is terrible for me too!!! Anything you doing to help?
  • 1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby?
    18 weeks...size of an artichoke

    2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good, other than lower back/sciatica pain and round ligament pain...especially when I sneeze/cough

    3. Any appointments coming up?
Not till the ultrasound on the 13th

    4. Rants, raves, celebrations, questions?

    5. Have you purchased anything for baby yet? If so, what was it? Also, what’s your deal for Halloween?
We purchased a jogging stroller, as we got a great deal due to the box being damaged. Starting to look into places to register.
    No Halloween plans this year.
  • 1. 16 weeks - pack of skittles.

    2. I'm starting to feel better. Still more tired than usual, but some of my energy is back. My lower back is killing me after my runs though, but I seem to recover the next day.

    3. Next week.

    4. I'm starting to get really excited now that I'm feeling baby move.

    5. We haven't purchased anything yet. It sounds Iike we're having a boy, so we have pretty much everything we need except a few big purchases we had given away. I am looking to get a new coming home outfit, I have a blanket picked out, and an outfit for pics picked out that we will get upon confirming sex.

We are taking DS to OKC for trick or treating with friends. He's going to be a UPS driver. DH modified his red push car and outfitted it with a cardboard UPS truck that he made. It turned out awesome. We have Amazon prime and DS loves getting our packages from the UPS guy, so he's stoked about this costume. I'll be wearing a skeleton baby tee to work tomorrow to confirm my pregnancy to anyone left still unsure.
  • @sjn00 the only thing that I ever found that relieved the pain was child birth.  lol I thought it would be something that would maybe fade once baby was born. Honestly was really afraid it was going to be permanent, but literally as soon as he was born the pain was gone instantly. So if you come up with any tricks to relieve the pain be sure to share!

sorry i am late! We are on our family vaca in disney. I've been up since 3:40 for some reason...

Baby is 17w3d and the size of a pomegranate or a game controller.

Feeling ok. Sciatica is bad but surprisingly all the walking isn't making it worse. I've had a few moments of nausea creep up on me this tri as well. Boooooo!

I have a regular ob check up on the 16th and a/s in the 20th!!

Rants: stupid sciatica. And why am i not sleeping right now?!? Augh!!!

Raves: so much little movements!!! So reassuring and welcomed.  :)

I bought a gender neutral lovie a few weeks back. That's it until the a/s tho. Halloween is in Disney like i said at the beginning. I had an Evie and a Belle yesterday. Tonight we are doing the Mickey Halloween party so I'll have an Ariel and Belle.
