    9 weeks tomorrow! Cherry!
    ((ETA)) I'm due May 29!

Still super tired. I clean for one hour and I'm wiped out for the day! Too frustrating when I have a toddler to entertain, and a job to do... somehow!
Heartburn started already? Is that weird?... I never had heartburn with DS!
Also still super sensitive to smells, and basically nothing but ice cream sounds good.

No questions. I see my midwife tomorrow, and hopefully we can listen to the heart beat! So, that's exciting..

First (real) job was a hostess at 16. It was good in the sense I got experience looking and acting professional, catering to people etc. Learned a stronger sense of responsibility and money. I also learned working until 11pm in restaurants is not great for impressionable youth! Haha... working with lots of college students who knew how to party!
  • How far along are you? What size is baby this week?

     - 8w5d, I originally calculated my due date based on my O date (which would make me 2 days ahead), but after I saw my OB she set my due date as 5/30 based on LMP and I'm too tired to math. Incidentally, baby was measuring "two days ahead" on the ultrasound, but what do I know :). For now, Ovia is still saying baby is the size of a 1/2 LEGO brick.

    What symptoms are you having?

     - TMI warning... I've coined a new phrase to capture the magic I am experiencing: "consti-rrhea". How it works is, my stomach feels constantly rumbly and sour and like I'm going to have diarrhea......... BUT THEN NOTHING HAPPENS. I'm nauseated if I don't eat every two hours, but then my stomach hurts because it's too full. Rinse and repeat.

    Rants/Raves:

     - Both relate to Disney on Ice. We took DD last night, and it was so fun watching her experience it. She was about to riot that they took too long bringing Frozen on, but other than that she was over the moon. A not very serious rant is that DH got her a snow cone in a fancy cup and it cost NINETEEN DOLLARS including the straw. The concessions prices are just so brazen! And people (including me) actually pay them. It's like a weird social experiment.

    Any questions this week?
     - Nah

GTKY:  What was your first job and what lessons did you learn from it?

     - During high school I worked cleaning stalls and taking care of the horses and chickens for this uber rich family on their giant estate. It was so big I rarely even ventured over to where the actual house was. I learned how to drive a tractor like a pro and had a lovely friendship with an old horse named Hemingway.

I will be 9 weeks this Wednesday. Baby is the size of a half lego block.

    What symptoms are you having?
Still so tired! I am also either always nauseous or starving. There is no in between! I ate so much today!

    Rants/Raves:
Everything my husband does! EVERYTHING! This is our third child so you would think by now he would learn how to act during the first trimester but I almost feel like he is trying to be an idiot.

    Any questions this week?
Not for a doctor but for others- anyone else struggling to cover your bump? I want to cry every morning when I get dressed. I am not ready to tell work but I am struggling to hide this bump.

GTKY:  What was your first job and what lessons did you learn from it?
I worked a hamburger/ ice cream stand. I learned I liked Grapenut ice cream and that was about the most valuable thing.

  • @hotmessmamax3 SO BLOATED. We just got back from vacation so we didn’t know anyone around so I wasn’t too worried about it. I’m hoping now that we’re home and eating home cooked food (assuming I can manage to cook!) that it won’t be so obvious.
  • How far along are you? What size is baby this week?

9 weeks today! Baby is the size of a southern pecan or cherry! Baby measured 2 days ahead on the ultrasound, but they are keeping my 5/29 due date!

    What symptoms are you having?
Breast tenderness still, naseous occasionally, but TIRED! My husband and I went to an NFL game that was 3 1/2 hours away this weekend. I slept on the way up, fell asleep at halftime, and slept on the way home. I feel like I've been hit by a bus daily! Also, I'm a teacher so around like 2:00, I'm done for the day, just want to sit and do nothing. The kids are starting to give me the looks, but I'm not telling them for at least another month.

    Rants/Raves:
My husband has been amazing. I literally did nothing Saturday, laid on the couch and watched Netflix while he was working. He came home, never said a word and asked if I needed anything. He handles my weird food aversions and changes dinner plans on a dime. He's great!

    Any questions this week?

When will I get my energy back? Haven't been to the gym in almost 3 weeks! Between the nausea and how tired I am after working all day and commuting an hour home, I can't pull myself together to get there!

GTKY:  What was your first job and what lessons did you learn from it?

I worked at a video rental store! I learned the value of hard work and responsibility. I also learned how to value the money I made. I worked 3 days a week and my pay checks were tiny, but I valued every cent I made and watched how I spent it!
  • App is actually letting me reply again :)

How far along are you? What size is baby this week? 9+3 and baby is the size of a cherry.

What symptoms are you having? Constant nausea and exhaustion. Weird cramping/stretching that didn't happen until much later with DD.

Rants/Raves: DH has been pretty awesome with helping pick up the slack. Trying not to carry the 3yo as much, which is damn near impossible lol.

Any questions this week? Anyone breaking out maternity pants soon? I'm struggling with my jeans for work. They hit at such an uncomfortable spot and without a belt they just fall down but the belt makes me want to cry.

GTKY:  What was your first job and what lessons did you learn from it?

I worked at McDonald's when I was 16. I definitely learned how not to treat people.

  • How far along are you? What size is baby this week? 9w (May 31st). Cherry!

What symptoms are you having? So tired. It’s not even funny. No matter how much I sleep, I’m exhausted. I don’t remember it being this bad with DD, but I also didn’t have a 1yo. Other than that I really can’t complain, no nausea this time around (yet)! This bloat though, I might need to switch to maternity pants soon.

Rants/Raves: I’m going to see my new OB next week and I just booked all of my ultrasounds for the rest of the pregnancy. It’s all moving so fast this time.

Any questions this week? Not this week.

GTKY:  What was your first job and what lessons did you learn from it?  I worked in the kitchen at a nursing home when I was 14. I learned a ton about Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

  • @lovemyjunebug I really want to start wearing my maternity pants but I am trying to wait until I have announced to everyone. I did pick up some leggings to tie me over.
  • I am 10 weeks today and the baby is the size of a strawberry
