Mucus Plug?

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow and I'm not sure but I may have lost my mucus plug? I went to bathroom and (sorry for the TMI) when I wiped there was what looked a beige phlegm glob. I've been having some cramping last night and this morning. Am I getting close to labor or just getting my hopes up?

    Even if it was your mucus plug, they can build back up. It doesn’t necessarily indicate going into labor. The cramping is probably more of an indicator. If it becomes more patterned it could be the start of labor.

    Exactly what meggyme said! I lost chunks of mucus plugs for weeks but they always rebuilt and I ended up being induced a week after my due date :)
