Canadian Check-in w/o 10/20

I thought it would be good to have a weekly Canadian check-in since our healthcare system is so different from the US. Let me know if you would prefer a more casual check-in or one that is more structured.

How many weeks are you?

What province are you from (if you feel comfortable with sharing)?

Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)?

    What province are you from (if you feel comfortable with sharing)? Ontario! 

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? Last week at the job I am leaving. Took me 3 hours to get here this morning. Needless to say my new job is mUCH closer to home. 

    GTKY: How many Canadian provinces/territories have you visited? 6
    Mama to a wonderful DD - Sep 2015, Wife to my DH since 2011, 2 dogs, a cat, and hoping to add No. 2 in May/June 2018. Canadian.
    5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD. 
    3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.

    Manitoba!

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? 
    Doing some fall cleaning/ getting our yard ready for winter. Also some late thanksgiving gatherings.

    @bkrahn it was only  due to all lanes being closed on the major highway I need to take in. I normally am 90 mins each way. And was only commuting 3x per week. And, well, we moved cities, with the plan of me leaving this place of employment, so... really kinda on me. But was always going to be temporary. Sometimes, you gotta take a wee bit of pain to get through to the good stuff.

    @rnielsen321 3 hours to get to work is insane! Good luck at your new job!
    @bkrahn I hope you don't experience any morning sickness so you can enjoy some turkey!

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? Not much is going on with me, just counting down the days/hours until my next blood draw.

    @ChloandCoco thanks! I had some morning sickness last weekend and we had a gathering then as well and I was SO disappointed.. thanksgiving dinner is my favourite meal and I had no desire to eat it

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? Just anxious for my first ultrasound Monday!  We were seeing a fertility specialist so we will go there for our first appointment.

    Hello fellow Canadians!!

    How many weeks are you? 5w3d

    What province are you from (if you feel comfortable with sharing)? The wet coast (BC)

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? Had an u/s on wed but it was a bit too early to detect much, especially since it was an abdominal u/s, going back in a week for another one and if we still can't see much we'll have a transvaginal scan. Counting down the days. 

    GTKY: How many Canadian provinces/territories have you visited? 9 provinces, 1 territory.

    What province are you from (if you feel comfortable with sharing)? Ontario

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? I had a conference Thursday to Sunday, a lot of late nights so I'm pretty exhausted. Feeling more nauseous this time around than I did with my first, and have been experiencing some horrible gas pains. I go for my second US in a week, the first one was too early to see anything more than the sac.

    DD: 09/16/14 @ 37 weeks
    Baby #2: BFP 09/29 @ 11 DPO | EDD: 06/11/18
    Betas: 10/04 - 235 | 10/10 - 2,975 | 10/13 - 8,150 | 10/16 - 21,987

    I am 8 weeks by LMP

    BC

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? 
    Nausea and vomitting. So much. Plus fatigue. Diclegis is not working. I spend hours everyday heaving. Never had any nausea with previous pregnancies and now Im worried theres 2 in there. Have an ultrasound on Thursday to ease my fears.

    5 weeks 4days

    From Ontario

    Past week has been busy. We moved into a new house this past weekend and are still unpacking. I hope we can be done by June! Lol

    Found out yesterday that I am having twins so it will be time to move...again. Just settled into this place a few weeks ago, a 2 bedroom small apartment and now with 3 kids a 2 bedroom wont do.

    Whats been going on for you over the past week (either pregnancy or nonpreganancy related)? I started working the same week we found out I'm pregnant so still adjusting to being back at work while dealing with exhaustion and occasional waves of nausea :( that and getting ready for Halloween which I love. 

    GTKY: How many Canadian provinces/territories have you visited? 4- Ontario, Quebec, BC, Alberta


    @notaknottie912 good luck with the hunt for a new place to live! Hopefully your MS calms a bit when you need to pack!

    @meagster13 looks like it. Might not find a place for a while. There is a less than 1% vacancy rate here and doubtful we will find something big enough to buy in our price range.

    @notaknottie912 congrats on the twins!!! Sooooo many twins. I have had 4 friends have or find out they are having twins in the span of a year! It's crazy, makes me a bit nervous. Lol

    Sorry it means having to move! Good luck with the search!!
