We didn't get around to meal planning OR grocery shopping this weekend.  Oops.  We were doing so well with it the last month.  :(  Some things that I know we have ingredients on hand that we will likely do this week include:

Either split pea soup or lentil soup
    Tacos
    Chicken pot pie

I'm glad the weather is finally turning a bit cooler this week.  Bring on the soups!

The only stuff I have planned for this week so far is tomato soup & grilled cheese, baked chicken, and hopefully conning H in to making spaghetti (which would last us 2 nights).
Ooo, maybe I'll have him make his tuna casserole dish one night.

Question: Does anyone recommend a good protein shake that is safe during pregnancy? I feel like I need a mid morning snack and I love making smoothies. I don't feel that I eat enough protein so I figured this would be a yummy way add some.

    Monday: Chicken Soup
    Tuesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce
    Wednesday: Chicken Tacos
Thursday: Baked (or grilled) Chicken, mashed potatoes, and probably a side salad
    Friday: Not sure yet

@mimzgoy I’ve been using Vega protein powder. everything I’ve read online seems to say it’s safe. I’ll still ask my OB when I see her though.

@mimzgoy I always do yogurt or pb for protein in shakes. (Maybe not as intense as powder?)
