Can we get a wtf Wednesday going?

I'm just wtf-ing doctor offices. The genetic counseling office says I can do the materniT21 at 11wks. but they want another ultrasound done that day before I go because my last will be more than 2 weeks out.. just to check viability. but my OB's office needs to put that script out in the system before I can schedule it. I'm playing middle man and the right script is just not getting put out there!

first they put a referral for counseling in... wrong. now they put the 1st tri screening in... wrong. I won't be getting the 1st tri screen/nt scan done cause we're doing the m21! and if they leave the script as is, they can't schedule that till 12 wks! I'm not waiting till damn 12 wks!
I left a msg for the counselor, maybe she can get the right thing from the ob's office.

WTF, I called the place we get massages at when I found out I was pregnant because I had booked massages for that weekend. They said the two people we'd booked with were not trained in pre-natal massage, but they gave me a list of 5 people in their practice who are and who would be happy to do a massage during first trimester. I asked like 17 times about first trimester. So I rebooked appointments for this week with the right person, and they just called me to be like, sorry, we have to cancel, we actually can't do massages during first tri based on spa policy. UGH DON'T GET MY HOPES UP GUYS!

My wtf...I’m not sure why I thought it was a brilliant idea to make our costumes for Halloween. We have a trunk or treat to go to on Friday and I’m nowhere close to being done.

@catlady1215 not loving my doctors office lately either. Apparently there's some sort of communication disconnect that I simply don't have time to deal with -- especially when they close for an hour, right on top of my 30 minute lunch.
@doxiemoxie212 will they let you schedule for 2nd tri?? *fingers crossed*

WTF me who had 6 people (plus us and DS) scheduled to come one for family dinner on Sunday - I made Shepherds Pie in the crockpot and then we left for the day to go to the pumpkin patch. We returned 6 hours later to find that I had turned the crockpot on but never plugged it in. So I had about 30 minutes to whip up plan b. Four days later and I’m still pissed I didn’t get my shepherds pie.

@catlady1215 ~ That’s frustrating. I’m sorry. It seems this stuff wouldn’t be so difficult since the doctors offices deal with it all the time.

My job is my WTF. Everyone is so negative and in a bad mood. Everyone's faking it. It feels like it sucks the life out of me every time I walk in. WTF is wrong with that place! Any tips on how to make the workday smoother? I literally cry on my way to work on a daily basis.

@abteamb and @marcus7676 Ugh, it's so hard to go to a job that's awful. And it doesn't help when you feel like crap on top of it all. Is there any way you could bring up the moral? Like, can you do a potluck for halloween or a "work appropriate" costume party? Those things always seem to perk up our office. No idea what kind of place you work at or if that's even realistic, but just throwing out some ideas. Last year we did a Christmas potluck and white elephant gift exchange. Not everyone gets along very good but everyone likes food and random gifts! We at times were laughing so hard we were crying. (I work in an office with about 25 people).

@marcus7676 and @PatientlyWaiting10 I work at a school and our principal resigned about a month ago. We got a new principal and he's ok, but still learning how our school works. Everyone's just overworked and tied. Lots of disorganization from district and constant back and forth on procedures. I do try to be positive, but it's starting to be so difficult. I'm hoping things will get better for me. Also I haven't told anyone I'm pg so it's been hard hiding my symptoms. I think I'll try to do something School wide for the holidays.

My wtf - I called my Dr office, I dont have my first appointment until 11/20!! That feels like 550 years from now. I have a "class" tuesday, but I wish it was a US.

@doxiemoxie212 that is indeed a WTF. The whole "massage in 1st trimester = dangerous" idea is more supersition, less science. Don't deprive a pregnant lady of her massage! (https://pregnantchicken.com/is-getting-a-massage-safe-during-pregnancy/)
