Ultrasound to follow up on subchorionic fluid build up and doctor visit this afternoon! My symptoms have been so mild since my last ultrasound and I’m so afraid of what that could mean. PGAL brain is getting to me big time!
I have my first appt on Friday. They didn't give me an u/s last time, so I doubt I'll get one with this LO. When can you start hearing the baby's heartbeat via Doppler? I'll be 8+4.
@dinodna3 I feel like my OB doesn’t even try the doppler until closer to 12 weeks just because it can be so hard to find and would cause a lot of unnecessary panic if they couldn’t find it (I could be wrong though, my memory isn’t always what it used to be).
@dinodna3 with my son, my 1st apt was right on the 9wk mark and she found it with a Doppler. she had to do a lot of maneuvering.. like pushing my uterus up with her fingers and really searching, but she found it.

I have my first apt on Wednesday, she'll do an ultrasound to check for viability and a heartbeat. I can't tell if my queasiness is due to morning sickness or anxiety now.

First appointment was today with an US (I posted in the US thread with a picture) and I have to go to the lab to get all the blood work and tests done this week. We got to hear the heartbeat and now I'm like an addict. My next appointment is Nov. 20th and they're gonna do another US. Can't come soon enough!

@PatientlyWaiting10 where i am from they are not allowed to tell you any information regarding the ultrasound there. You have to wait for the radiologist to fax results to your obgyn or gp. And it takes about 5 to 7 business days.
I have a phone appointment on Friday. My OB-GYN now does this to make the actual in office appointments go a little bit quicker. They will ask me a bunch of questions on previous pregnancies and deliveries. As well as family history. My actual in office appointment/ultrasound is on Monday.

Had my appt and saw a heartbeat!!! Im measuring 7w 1 day and the app says I'm 7w 4 days but the doctor said that's fine as we don't know exactly when we ovulated.
First u/s went great. Saw heartbeat and faintly heard it at 7 weeks. Baby is measuring right at 7 weeks. The doctor is saying my due date in June 13. I like June 11, better so I'll stick with telling everyone June 11. My birthday is on Feb. 13 (yes the day before valentines day) and it sucked all through grade school having people remind you your birthday is on Friday the 13th (which will happen every 7 years). Also June 11 is my younger cousin's birthday, she was my first "baby," so I think it would be cool to have my first baby and first baby have the same birthdate. Even not it makes for a great story during the pg.
Awesome!! So glad it went well @ffw0617!! My bday is June 13, it's a great day for a birthday! Really though, so glad everything went well today!!

I had my first appointment yesterday morning. No u/s, but got a beta done. Will go in tomorrow morning for a second. I already got my results for the first test this morning: over 22,000!!! I'm only 5+3 by my doc's calendar (based off my O date, though I find at least a 3 day swing depending on which calendar I use), so that's super high! **TW** I compared it to my results from my last pregnancy, where I had it drawn one day later (@25dpo vs 24dpo), and it was 7x higher this time. **end TW** I'm also getting my homocysteine checked tomorrow due to my MTHFR mutation. They did it on Monday too, even though it wasn't fasting, and it came back normal. I picked up some Zofran from the pharmacy today (diclegis wasn't covered by my insurance), and heavily debating whether to take some right now. The nausea I had early last week has come back with a vengence!

Sounds like a lot of positive outcomes are happening from appointments! Fingers crossed for more!
I had an appointment this morning, and we could see the tiniest flicker of a slow heartbeat. I’m still measuring a week behind, but the pregnancy did progress from last week where I just had gestational and yolk sac. I’m hoping the baby is starting slow and will be alright. I’ve been in this limbo stage the whole last 3 and a half weeks with very marginal numbers and results. Next week will be very telling at 8 weeks. Anyone else going through something similar?
Appt. tomorrow for an ultrasound! Saw a heartbeat last Monday, so hoping all is well and strong! I stopped progesterone two days ago. Will be 7 w 5 days tomorrow :0)
Yay for all the positive appointments so far and good luck on those upcoming!
My OB doesn't see patients for first appointments until 10 weeks! With my first, that seemed like years!!! So, I'll be living vicariously through you all for the next 4 weeks
Confirmation ultrasound today! 8w5d We got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. measuring right on track for 6/2 which means I will have a May baby.
