Good! Insomnia has hit like a truck and that's pretty terrible, but all in all I'm feeling good.

Not until the anatomy scan on 11/10.

I got a whole bunch of colder weather maternity clothes on clearance from Motherhood, and I can't wait to wear it. Nice maternity clothes make me feel so much better about getting dressed in the morning. Also, getting stuff on sale makes me irrationally happy, ha.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met at a local bowling alley of all places. He was in a bowling league with friends of mine, and those friends convinced me to come down and hang out (read: drink a lot of beer) while they bowled. There was an instant attraction when we met but it took him MONTHS to ask me on a date. Once he finally did, it was love at first date and we were engaged less than three months later. And it was all thanks to a dang bowling alley

15 weeks; size of a navel orange
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good. I have some rough days, usually when I overexert myself the day before. Some round ligament pain and sore boobs. Really need to get some bigger and more comfortable bras.
3. Any appointments coming up?
Tomorrow! Have a regular checkup/doppler check, but also checking my cervix because of a previous leep procedure that could lead to incompetent cervix. FX it all looks good. If not, they'll have to put a stitch or two in to keep it closed.

None really. I need a vacation though lol.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
Through a co-ed social sports league. A couple of coincidences...I wanted to play flag football , but didn't make the registration in time. So, I went for softball. Was placed on a team via email. Teams were to meet up and pick up their t-shirts at a specific place/time. I showed up and was told they took me off that team and was being placed on another. Since I now didn't know who my teammates were, I ordered a sandwich and sat at the counter watching for others who would get the same shirts. A guy showed up to pick up shirts (mine) for the entire team and through a mouthful of sandwich I told him we were on the same team. He gave me a weird look til he finally understood what I said. Then told me no one else was coming bc he was getting all the shirts. He walked away and about 5 minutes later came back bc he felt bad leaving me there by myself. We ordered drinks and talked for about 2 hours...9 years later, here we are.
Side note, I found out later that he told the rest of the team he would pick up the shirts bc there was a new girl (not me) on the team he wanted to meet. She didn't show up that day and later joined the team...with her boyfriend.

Went shopping this weekend and picked up some cute little girl stuff on clearance at Macys! I also just requested a day off work so my H and I can go tour daycare's. It's becoming so real!
@kmalls I also scored two new maternity shirts from Motherhood on clearance this weekend. The sale associate was all like "oh you should look at our full price stuff because it's buy two get one free". Um no, that's not a good deal sorry.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met online! Which now that I know my husband it kind of shocks me because he's so anti social media. We dated for a little over a year before we moved in together and then we got engaged right before our 2 year dating anniversary. Married 3 days after our 3 year dating anniversary which is nice because it helps me remember how long we have been together/married. lol
@JJMNO1616 my husband is the same way! We didn't meet online, but he had gone out on a few Match dates and I'm shocked he did that. He hates anything online and he's a pretty big introvert, so I cannot imagine him even considering that for one second.

Pretty good, really tired and slowly starting to get my appetite back. Also I hate my vag and how itchy it is. Started my second round of yeast infection treatment so far the itching has lessen even more since my last one so hopefully this is finally done.

Not until 11/16 will have the anatomy scan.

I'm kind of looking forward to finding out what this baby is so I can buy something. Just been holding off because we already have a lot of things, and even if it's a girl I'll probably still buy something even though it will have a ton of hand me downs. I just haven't got into that mood like I did last time where I slowly buy things that I like but this time I'm just waiting until after we know the sex. Probably because we have closet full of baby stuff to go through and we planned to go through it after we know the sex so maybe mind is just thinking I have to wait until then do actually do anything for this baby.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met on Match.com. Like your husband's @JJMNO1616 and @kmalls mine hates social media so it's ironic we met on a dating website. Been together 10 years this upcoming June and just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary.

@Dumbgurl04 Hoping time goes by quickly for your anatomy scan to find out the sex of your baby! Do you have a feeling about the sex?
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 14 weeks.. hello second trimester! It feels like a great accomplishment. Baby is the size of a peach.
2. How are you feeling? I've been feeling pretty well. My energy has seemed to have dipped the past few days, but I am hoping it'll return in the next few weeks. I'm starting to have RLP, which hasn't been pleasant. It kinda scares me every time.. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
3. Any appointments coming up? On Thursday. This will be the first appointment with my OB/Gyn, who I adore. I've seen her previously for past issues, and she's the best doctor I've worked with. My husband had one of his work trips cancelled so he can join me for that appointment, which is a plus.

5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other? We met at a friend's wedding initially but really had our first in-depth conversation at a friend's Halloween party a few months later. The following night, we saw each other again at another party. I had a feeling during that initial Halloween party conversation it wasn't going to be something that was causal. And here we are five years later celebrating another Halloween together.
2. How are you feeling?
Good for the most part! Back hurts because I fell down the stairs on Friday. Fuzzy socks and wood steps don't mix well when carrying an arm full of laundry

Routine appt either Nov 6th or 7th, can't remember.

In-laws decided to come visit and stay with me...so now there's chocolate on my wall in the kitchen, urine on the toilet seat, and possibly diarrhea on the bed sheets...none of which is from my toddler! They can't go home soon enough!

@kmalls We also met at a bowling alley...with a little help from AIM! My friend was always hanging out in chat rooms and invited him out to hang with us at the bowling alley one night. He claims he talked to me all night but I don't really remember. Didn't hang out after that and chatted minimally on AIM for a short time after that. Fast forward 6yrs and I was newly single from a broken engagement. The same friend was still using AIM and apparently DH was too so she told him I was single again and convinced me to sign back on and chat with him. 9yrs later, here we are!

@dan0081 I'm some what thinking boy but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it was a girl. When I was pregnant with my DD i could have sworn she was boy but I was wrong.
I love all the bowling stories! I basically grew up hanging out in our local bowling alley because both of my parents were on a team.
@Dumbgurl04 I feel the same about finding out what I'm having! I'm desperate to buy stuff even if it is another boy. I'll find out 12/7 so baby will certainly get some Christmas presents

Oh my god my back. I'm on day four of debilitating pain. I feel bad because today was slightly better purely because I was at work and not home with DS, constantly stopping down, picking him up, sitting on the floor, etc. I'm so tired of pregnancy keeping me from enjoying my time with him to the fullest

So my SIL is also expecting, a little boy in Feb. She is unnaturally obsessed with knowing what I'm having. And knowing full well that we don't know yet, she sent out this little game to my whole family with a list of boys names and we're supposed to guess. How am I NOT supposed to take that as her staking a claim to all 20 (yes, 20!!) names on that list?! She couldn't even wait to find out if we were also having a boy and deal with coordinating it then?!

@Puddlewonderful that is super random of of your SIL. Plus, how is anyone supposed to guess a name out of TWENTY options? that's a whole lot of names.

Like absolute garbage. I think I posted 2 weeks ago that I had a sinus infection. Well the sinus infection turned into bronchitis, and as of my doctor appointment today/x-rays, I now have full blown pneumonia. WTF.
On top of that, I had to get an injection into my damn wrist for the pregnancy-onset of carpel tunnel.
I'm so thankful this is my last pregnancy.
3. Any appointments coming up?
Nov 7, routine visit. She told me we could find out the sex then from a quick peek at an U/S, but I'm really leaning towards Team Green this time.

Rant: there is basically nothing over the counter that is safe for pregnancy, and it's driving me insane!!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
A mutual friend of ours introduced the summer before senior year of high school, when I was moving back from overseas and didn't know anyone. We struck up an easy friendship that year and kept in touch the first 2 years of college. Junior year he ended up transferring the university I attended because it's a better school, and we quickly went from friends to dating. We've now been "together" for 10 years, and married for 8. We got married after we graduated.

Super exhausted, some RPL and sciatic pain. Other than that, no complaints.

Had one this morning, heartbeats are great and were super easy to find. Next appt is 11/20 for the anatomy scan.

We met while working the same retail job when I was in grad school... it was definitely not love at first sight!! I thought he was kind of a DB (still is) but we fell in love...

Pretty good, energy level is creeping back up. Heartburn & hip pain have kicked in though.

Had one today - got to hear sweet baby's heartbeat!

NIPT results came back Friday and everything looks normal, such a big relief!
And.....it's a boy!!!!!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
I was actually his mother's boss!! Funny story - there were three women that worked for me that all had sons around my age. All three used to talk about trying to set me up and I member a vivid conversation with another co-worker that if I was to date any of them it would definitely not be this one particular woman's son because there's no way on earth I would ever chance her possibly being my mother-in-law one day! I messed that one up big time, lol. I used to run into him around town fairly frequently - we like the same type of music and had an interest in the same types of things. After both of us had broken up with other people we hung out at a concert together one night. He then asked me to dinner and I told him I would go, but it wasn't a date. For the first 6 months we dated I told him we weren't "dating". I obviously so in control of my life huh? Haha!

We met for the first time as freshmen in college. We went on a few dates, but I broke up with him because I thought he was too nice and I was into bad boys (in retrospect, this was completely idiotic of me). I got married to some dumb bad boy and divorced him 10 years later. Current hubby found me on OK Cupid, he convinced me to go to the art museum with him and the rest is history!
@kmalls, now that I've finally announced I'm looking forward to getting some maternity clothes. I'll have to check out Motherhood because Target was a bust tonight.
@StephieMK, I hope you're feeling better soon. I totally LOL'd when I read that you met on AIM. I used to chat with my SO all the time on AIM back in the day...brings back memories!
@mispanda, does Tylenol work for anyone?! It feels useless to me.
@Puddlewonderful Ugh, if I got something like that I’d tell my SIL that OMG we were considering some of the same names (even if we weren’t). I’m sorry, but you can’t claim 20 names.

5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met at a rock climbing gym. I had just moved to Utah, where I didn’t know anyone, and was into rock climbing, so I went to the climbing gym to make new friends. I met DH and liked him right away but he was married at the time. We would climb together sometimes, but eventually lost touch for a while as our lives got busier. I’d still see him once in a while, but not a lot. 7 years after we met, and I had just gotten out of a relationship, we reconnected, and I found out he had gotten a divorce. We started climbing together and the rest is history.

Tired, lots of heartburn, sciatica, and some serious mucous in my head and chest (I was on antibiotics a few weeks ago, I think the ongoing stuff is from pregnancy). But really, I'm not feeling too bad - I just have my moments!

Not until November 9th.

None of the above, but it feels weird for me to not have had an appointment for 2 weeks. Looking at it from the standpoint that I haven't been reassured babies are doing okay in that long (logical me knows they are fine). I think I am feeling them flutter sometimes, but not positive. I have a stethoscope at home (bought for goat care lol) that I think I will pull out to listen for heartbeats (read somewhere that they may be found in this way now). I wasn't this way with first pregnancy 20 years ago, think I was pretty uneducated and took pregnancy being easy and without problems for granted.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
Five months after my late husband passed, the parochial school my son had went to had a Trivia Night for a booster club fundraiser. My four friends and their SOs plus me were one over for our table of 8, but we figured someone would just be the beer runner. My BFF dropped out, and 2 days before event, her hubby dropped out. I asked a handful of other friends who couldn't come. Another friend was going to get her college age kids to play, both fell through, so finally another friend Molly had 2 ideas - her BIL or a friend, but didn't know who she should ask. I told her whoever was smarter (this was a trivia night) so she asked the friend - Jeremy. My first impression wasn't great of him, but we ended up all going to a bar afterwards (yes, we were both quite drunk) and really connected. Since I was still wearing my wedding ring, he asked and heard all of my baggage right up front. We were the last 2 there and he asked for my number and walked me to my car and kissed me. We texted that night and talked the next morning. He called later and asked me on a date that evening. If he had given me more time to think about it I NEVER would have agreed, I would have started worrying about what other people would think. After the date, we were pretty much a couple. I moved in a little less than a year after we met, and we got married about a year and a half after meeting.
I had trouble posting yesterday, so I'm a day late too!

Pretty great. It's amazing to have energy again. I even managed to work out a few times last week.

My DH was out of town all of last week and we both got sick, so that was brutal. I'm so happy he's back and can help wrangle my DD. If I can brag on my DD for a little bit, we had her 18 mo pediatric appointment and she is doing so well. The doctor commented on her verbal skills and said she is perfect

We met in law school. Actually we were housemates together and I didn't want to start something up with a roommate, but alcohol will do that to you. We kept it a secret for a few months but everyone found out eventually. We've been together for almost 10 years
2. How are you feeling? Feel pretty good, but I've still got minor fatigue.

We're another set that met online. We met through eHarmony. We both thought only weird people dated online and got 'pressured' into trying it out from out friends. We were both young professionals living in new areas and had no idea how to meet people. Best decision I ever made! We've been together since we first met about 8 years ago and have been married for 5 years as of Friday!

@Sissy42 - pneumonia - that sucks! You're right, meds that actually work are not pregnancy friendly, which is frustrating

Pretty good except I've got some terrible sciatic pain going on. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to be able to stand 5+ more months of this.

I had one yesterday and everything looks good. Just scheduled my anatomy scan for 11/17 and I cannot wait to find out the sex!

5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met online. I was a single mom with no time to meet anyone so I finally gave in and tried it. It turned out we had friends in common so after they vouched for him I agreed to meet him. It was quite awhile longer before I introduced him to my son and when they hit it off I knew I had found the right guy.

Pretty good! Been a bit headache and sinus-y and honestly a little freaked out about the lack of symptoms but know they're on their way. The weirdest thing is the bottoms of my feet are so dry it's disgusting.

October 30 I go in to get my blood pressure checked. I have white coat hypertension, it's fine at home I just freak out at the doctor's office, always have.

Talking to my S/O about being more involves this evening. He's doing the whole "whatever you want to do" thing and it's a little overwhelming since we didn't find out until 14 weeks so I'm doing a LOT of catching up.

We met on a dating app, but we ACTUALLY MET at an arcade bar and I kicked his butt at Mortal Kombat all night. Told my mom the next day I was going to date him and well, here we are going strong !
@JJMNO1616 The icing on the cake was when I came home from work yesterday. We have a little TV tray table set up most times next to the couch to hold drinks and what not since we don't have a coffee table. I finally got the chance to sit down on the couch and look right at the table and see MIL's false teeth sitting there in front of me. On the table. With NOTHING under it.
@Puddlewonderful I saw a chiropractor all through my first pregnancy and now with this one as well. Did wonders! Maybe can give you relief too?
@Sissy42 Feel better! I had cough/congestion/then sinus infection for practically the first 10wks of this pregnancy and seemed like it would never end.

@StephieMK OMG NOOO.
Thank you everyone for the well wishes on my appointment. Everything looks good so far. Got to see baby girl and she was jumping around like crazy. My cervix looks closed and normal. However, I have to go in every 2 weeks until I'm at 22 weeks and the chance for my cervix to shorten is passed to get it checked. Lovely!
Also, some food for thought, scar tissue from leeps can (not will) slow labor. Everyone is different but the thick tissue could slow the rate at which your cervix opens. It did for me during DD's delivery. I labored for about 27 hours and progressed to a 6 in that time frame. Then, I flew from a 6 to a 10 in the next 30 minutes. The nurses and OB attributed that to my scar tissue finally breaking through.

Slowly starting to shed the constant nausea and food adversions. Thankful to have some more energy too!

My fuse seems to be a lot shorter these days! I'm so thankful for my DH and how helpful he has been with caring for my 18 mo DD when I've been too sick or tired, but I snapped the other day when there were no towels in the kitchen to dry my hands with because he is constantly throwing them in the wash and then not replacing them. It sounds so dumb now!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your significant other?
We met our sophomore year of college and instantly liked each other but ended up dating other people because one of us thought the other wasn't into them at various times. Our Senior year he asked me out and we got married 2 years later while I was in grad school. We would have gotten married sooner except we had no money and no jobs...lol we still didn't when we got married but we made it work and it's sweet to look back on that. He's still my favorite person even if he drives me nutso!
