We're going shopping for family outfits for pictures we have coming up. This is stressful because I suck at finding things that fit me that look good, let alone finding coordinating outfits for the whole family.
We have a Halloween party to go to tonight. I am a little bummed though because it doesn’t start until 7:30 and it’s kids too...that’s when we usually put DD to bed. I guess we just won’t be able to stay long.
Forcing myself to get off the couch and be a wife and mom finally today. Playing with DS. Dragged myself grocery shopping... where I bought (then ate when I got home) such crap processed food. And I'm going to try to cook a home cooked meal tonight.... something I haven't done in weeks. My poor hubs. He's a trooper. i should try to clean but there's always tomorrow
for someone that really doesnt feel nauseous, I'm struggling eating decent foods. Which is killing my energy levels.

We went grocery shopping this morning. @catlady1215, I think I had about as much fun as you did . Hoping to work on ds’s Halloween costume this weekend. We will see if I have enough energy for that.
Oh also! We went to napa yesterday! I know it was so devastating for so much of the area, but the wineries survived! It's still just as beautiful, fields and fields of vines undamaged by the fires, and I really recommend people go back. It's sort of a ghost town. And the businesses and communities really need tourism to come back. Air quality is great finally!
And no, smelling the wine is not at all the same as drinking it, and yes, I was jealous all day.
Going to attempt to make spaghetti squash for dinner, even though it doesn't sound appealing. Figure I should get back in the habit of cooking sooner rather than later.
Tomorrow is birria dinner with the family. It'll be fun I know but right now I'm not looking forward to it. I just want to hide inside the house and not talk to anyone.
DDs birthday party is tomorrow. So min cleaning a prepping everything today. We are having a costume party, so it should be fun! Oh and we are gonna announce to our families about #3.
@doxiemoxie212 Man, Napa and not drinking! Rough! @dinodna3 That sounds so cute! What will your LO’s be dressed as? @catlady1215 Don’t be so hard on yourself!
Y’all I just ate the rest of the Indian leftovers... so, the last 3 meals I have had were Indian food... I regret nothing.
I am super proud of myself for going grocery shopping at a Costco today, although walking by the meat aisle made me want to Throw up. But yay we've got chicken pot pie for dinner!!
@tepr14 I'm impressed you're going with something not appealing to you. I almost did, my husband's favorite meal is my Rice Krispie chicken. But ehhh. Beef has been the only meat I have had any (which is very little) interest in. So meatloaf it is.

My friend that we told last weekend invited me over to try on maternity clothes last night. Came home with three bags. Some of it isn’t great but a few pieces will be nice.
We’re going to get pumpkins tomorrow and carve them! And I’m going to get a little one for the appleseed.

@sabby2 I'm actually excited someone else knows it! I might know one other person! My parents made it all the time growing up. I normally love it... along with all the crispy Rice Krispies I scrape out of the pan lol
@kbrown2385 I'm not sure how sabby makes it. But mine is super simple. I just dip chicken in melted butter, then coat with crunched up Rice Krispie cereal. I put them in a baking dish so I can pour left over butter all around them and cover with left over Rice Krispies. (Cause like i mentioned to sabby, one of our fav parts is the crispy Rice Krispies around in the dish lol.) then bake it. So good with mashed potatoes!

I don’t remember feeling this exhausted when I was pregnant last time around. I can barely drag myself through one errand / chore. I’m not sleeping well or eating well, and I know that contributes to the lack of energy, but I struggle to do anything these days. Anyone have any tips for beating this exhaustion?

No advice but I offer my sympathies. So exhausted too! And since we’re not announcing to anyone till Christmas I have to be careful about complaining about it too
@marcus7676 I just said the same exact thing to DH today. no tips, just solidarity. @catlady1215 Added this to our meal schedule this week! We used to do Pringles chicken, and now i'm excited for Rice Krispies. @chocomom2 +1 to the bloat. I had a student ask me on Friday if I was pregnant. The struggle is real. @dinodna3 Have fun tomorrow! That is so exciting you are announcing too! @Miz_Liz Seriously? 7:30? I hope its not too much of a bedtime struggle when you get home!

Fatigue has set in and I'm so exhausted all the time. All I want is to do is sleep but DH is gone for the next two weeks and I'm on my own with the kids. Also, I have an appt on Monday, and I'm not even seeing the Dr but I'm hoping I can convince someone to run a blood test to check my levels.

@catlady1215 same, my mom and dad had it growing up too and so did I. So good! I've added a packet of hidden valley ranch dip mix before. It's good but I prefer the regular way.
I always serve with mashed potatoes and corn or green beans.
@sabby2 can you copy outfits from some family off pinterest? @doxiemoxie212 So happy about Napa. It's a special place for me. @tepr14 I had to Google birria. Weekly family dinner? @dinodna3 Do you ask your fam. to keep it a secret? @katie121209 Everything Costco around our house. Chicken pot pie, frozen meatballs, diapers, knockoff UGGS. What doesn't Mrs. Kirkland rock at. @fantasticmrsfox I'd be psyched. about some nausea, ha. I've been googling when it's supposed to start and trying to remember when it hit me with my other pregnancies.
Complained about the cat boxes smelling awful (they are, I can smell them upstairs) and DH is downstairs cleaning them out. Thank God, it's making me sick to my stomach.
@catlady1215 eh, I've had it sitting on the counter for awhile it needed to be cooked. Came out alright- I could stomach it at least. I'm definitely going to have to try out that rice krispie chicken- I've never heard of it before.
@llamamama14 It's my FIL birthday and his mom makes everyone birria for their birthday. It's REALLY good, one of my favorite dishes (just time consuming). But we do try to see both sides of the family at least weekly for dinner so I guess this counts towards that!
@sabby2@catlady1215 I grew up with rice crispie chicken too! We dipped them in egg, then coated with rice crispies or cornflakes. Dipping in butter sounds...sinful. In a very good way.
@=caenis= yay another one! I've heard of using just corn flakes before but never tried. Lol, my husband likes to point out that yah it's all baked.... but baked in butter since I pour the extra around the dish lol

My mom's recipe actually calls for either rice Krispy or corn flakes and using either chicken or pork chops (it's good on pork chops too). The handiest tip I learned is using a tin foil lined baking sheet. It makes cleaning up the pan way easier.
My mind is blown that there are so many people who know this recipe! I have never met anyone else who knew it!
Do any one you use a grocery list app or meal planning app? Bonus points if DH can install on his phone too so he can pick up things we need if he feels like it on his way home.
@sabby2 we used to use the app out of milk. I’m pretty sure you are able to sync it to each other. It was great when we used it, I just always forgot about it and ended up sending text messages instead.
@fantasticmrsfox I'm 5 wks and I felt some food aversions which is comforting. @tepr14 Sounds tasty. Let me know if they start selling it at Costco, ha. @sabby2 No app. recommendations. We do an old school dry erase board list inside a kitchen cabinet door. I take a pic on my phone before leaving for the store. I have a separate weekly calendar dry erase to plan meals. DH usually just calls if he's gonna stop at the store.
