Happy Monday ladies! We are so close to the finish line, it is just so crazy to see my name 2nd on the list DH and I are so ready for our little lady to arrive!!
I am checking in 38+4 and still surprisingly feeling pretty good overall. My evening heartburn still kicks my butt but I can't complain. I am counting down the days until Maternity Leave as I feel like work is driving me crazy but I would rather work as long as I can so I can spend as much time as I can at home with baby! Oh and today is DH's birthday so I am going head home early today to put some special stuff together for him So i guess just overall boring, but I hope it stays that way because I want this little lady to cook to the end
ETA QOTW: Totally forgot to answer hehe. I think I am most looking forward to watching DH meet our little one for the first time and seeing her and holding her for the first time. Oh I can't wait to meet her too!! We have been waiting SOOOOO very long for this day!

@Joslynj11 your getting so close!! happy birthday to your DH.
30weeks with our pistachio (team green singleton). Overall things are good. I had food poisoning and a cold last week but thankfully am over both. It was a rough combo. I'm finally feeling this little one on a more regular basis and its nice. (except for the cervix kicking, kid you can cut that out any time) As for what I'm most looking forward to is that snugly froggy stage, where they still tuck up like they are in the womb and they just cuddle next to you... They smell so sweet... their faces are so peaceful... oh it gets me every time.

38 weeks, I've been having major cramping and my husband swears my bump dropped but we'll see if there's progress on Wednesday. Feeling good, just tired now!
QOTW same as others, the sleepy snuggles! And seeing my daughter meet him, she's been asking for a sibling for way too long, I can't wait to see her love on him. ❤️
32+3 today! Can’t wait for weds when we finally get to see this little bean again (haven’t had a scan since the 20 week anatomy scan). This little guy is definitely running out of room and he loves to get his little feet all up in my right lung. Yay!
QOTW: I really just can’t wait to meet this little guy. Working with new parents for a living has made me a little afraid of those first few weeks and how little sleep we are going to get, but he will be so worth it!

TTC #2 since July 2018 May 2019 IVF #2: BFP! (beta#1 346, beta#2 646) - vanishing twin at 8 weeks. Baby B still going strong - due 2/8/20!
37 weeks today, the home stretch! People tell me I look like he's dropping, and I've definitely felt that pressure at times moving down lower. His movements are getting slower, but stronger, too, so that's been interesting; less kicking and punching, more slow rolls lol. Personally, though, I am so over being pregnant lol. It hasn't even been that bad; I can still work out, and move, and touch my toes (just barely!), but I'm just kind of over the little inconveniences. It goes right to the QOTW: While of course I'm looking forward to meeting our little dude, and to watching my husband become a father, which he's wanted for so long, it'll be nice to stop belching like a frat boy every 15 minutes and have my feet go back down to their normal size and stop walking into walls and to have my lap back, lol. I know that's all totally ridiculous, and pregnancy was MUCH kinder to me than I thought it would be, but I'm still ready to have this baby!
Anyone doing anything to help things along? I had my appt this morning, I was 1-2cm but he's apparently still high up (how he can get lower is going to be funny, I'm peeing every 5 min as it is). Just drinking my raspberry tea and dragging my daughter for lots of walks I tried spicy food with my daughter, horrible idea, and sex just seems impossible haha. I know it could be a few more weeks, just trying to avoid another giant baby if he's late
@PolythenePam My doula suggested holding onto the sink and pulling back into a squat. Hold that for as long as you can, then stand up and make circles with your hips. Repeat for several minutes. There are also pressure points that can help with strengthen contractions when you get there. I could get contractions to start by doing the squats, but never stay sustained. My problem was her head was too big to fit through my pelvis, so I never progressed.
@PolythenePam you're welcome! I've got a while bunch of natural ways to help induce labor that I can share. That worked the best for me. I also had a lot of luck with the pressure points.
@persnickity keep the suggestions coming in! I am not ready to start initiating labor just yet, but in about a week or so I will doing everything under the sun

@Joslynj11@PolythenePam There's some aromatherapy you can do as well. Basil essential oil can help. There's another essential oil, clarey sage, but that one should only be used at 40 weeks. The pressure points can be done anytime. I went to an acupuncturist who used the same pressure points as my doula.
Does anyone know how accurate growth scans are for weight? We had ours on weds and they said Baby was already 5.5lbs (and measuring a week ahead)! I’m 33 weeks tomorrow and now terrified of having a 9+lb baby.....

Hello ladies, I feel bad because I haven't participated on this board since my 1st trimester because I had a difficult pregnancy so far (hyperemesis gravidarum, hyperglicemia, horrible constant heartburn and constipation, lack of stamina, etc). But I've been reading from time to time. Hurray for being 33 weeks but scared for the home-stretch because I'm already very big and uncomfortable, which makes me anxious at times. @PoeMasque hi there, me too! Baby is measuring 1.5 weeks ahead in terms of head size and weight-wise in the 75% percentile. Because I already had my doubts I can deliver vaginally due to a small pelvis/physique as well as endo and polypectomy surgeries, I think we may schedule a c-section at 39 weeks (by which time baby is estimated to be 8+ pounds). I'm still trying to prep for a vaginal if she decides to come earlier than that.. I really wanted to try vaginally but with this size I don't think I want to anymore ugh
@PoeMasque I was told + - a pound, with water weight and other factors playing in. We were being monitored with my daughter as she was measuring ahead and it caused me to panic, my doctor got mad at the ultrasound people for causing me to panic though. She said baby comes out one way or another and you'd be amazed what our bodies can do! My daughter was 8lbs 11oz and I'm smaller framed but managed vaginally. I've heard of drs inducing early if size is a concern. With this one being a boy we're expecting bigger (hence me squatting all day but my dr isn't concerned
@PoeMasque and @liljoy-2 ultrasounds can be a pound or more off in either direction. At my late term US the twins were measuring 8lbs and 7.5 lbs. In actuality when born they were 6lbs 5oz and 6lbs 10oz... so a big difference... @liljoy-2 I'm sorry this pregnancy has been so rough on you. Don't count yourself out for a vaginal delivery yet if its what you want. Our bodies are pretty amazing, but in the end do what you feel most comfortable with.

@PoeMasque Lurking- I was told my baby was already almost 7 lbs at my 36 week scan. I gave birth at 39 + 4 days and she was 6 lb 14 oz. So, not very accurate...
