    2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? (Feel free to share your story if you'd like as well).
I'm feeling relatively good. We've been ttc #1 since September 2015. We were diagnosed with a
luteal phase defect, uterine polyps (removed), stage 2 endometriosis, and low morphology.

    TW Loss
I've had 3 losses. We tried one failed round of timed intercourse (gonal f and clomid), but all four pregnancies have been spontaneous. I do not have a diagnosis for the recurrent losses. I've never made it this far.
    End TW

    3) When is your next appointment?
    October 30th.

    4) Rants/Raves/Questions
    Nope.

    5) GTKY: What's the last movie you watched? Would you recommend it?
Mother. It was okay. I'd recommend it if you like unusual films.

  • Thanks for bringing this back!

    1) How far along are you?

    11 weeks, 2 days.

    2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? (Feel free to share your story if you'd like as well).

Not the best! Physically, I hadn't been feeling too awful, and had just come to the end of my progesterone and estrogen, so decided to try stopping Diclectin since I thought the pills might be a big part of the nausea, the stuff is expensive and my prescription had run out anyway. Biiig mistake. I was so so sick for the last couple days. Got my prescription refilled yesterday, and started again last night, but I am still not feeling 100% better because it takes some time to kick in. I won't try that again any time soon!

Emotionally I am kind of a basket case. H and I almost never argue but last night we did about the stupidest stuff and it made me cry for like an hour. I also have suddenly become uber paranoid that (TW) I've had a missed miscarriage, even though there is absolutely nothing to suggest that, just based on watching a documentary that included the stories of two people who ended up having miscarriages and reading things online about people who had them and didn't have any signs. My short version IF story is that we ttc for two years before finally trying IVF and were lucky enough to conceive on the first try. Because of that I thought watching a documentary about couples competing for a free round of IVF might be interesting. It was, but I didn't really think about the fact that those stories don't always end happily for people, or at least often have a lot of road bumps. It kind of messed me up.

    3) When is your next appointment?

I have my first appointment with my OB a week from today, and also an appointment with the Fetal Assessment and Treatment Centre the same day. I am so so so nervous about that, but also dying for it to get here, due to the above stated totally irrational paranoia. I feel very lucky that doing IVF does get me extra ultrasounds, assessments etc because if I hadn't already had one good ultrasound and didn't know I had this coming soon I would be losing my mind.

    4) Rants/Raves/Questions

Nothing really, although if anyone has methods for regaining lost chill would love to hear it.

    5) GTKY: What's the last movie you watched? Would you recommend it?

The above noted documentary. Called "Vegas Baby". It was a great documentary, really well made and even made H cry. I do not recommend watching while pregnant though because it hits a little too close to home.

  • @thunderberry It's been almost two weeks since I stopped progesterone and I did notice my nausea waned, but it's probably a coincidence. That's awful you're still sick. I'm sorry you're worried!

    TW (loss)
Two are my miscarriages were missed. Although I didn't have any obvious signs, I still felt something was wrong (I suddenly had weird brown spotting). I was under the care of a RE so my weekly ultrasounds caught them. I did call both times though to move up my appointments because I had a bad feeling. I was hoping that would make you feel better, but maybe not. I got pregnant again immediately after my last loss and it's still hard for me to accept this won't end the same way. I try to take comfort that I've seen/heard the heart beat on several ultrasounds so far. End TW

  • @desertdweller-21 Thanks! That does help a bit because the stories where people literally had no clue really freak me out. I don't think anything is going to totally reassure me though until I see a heart beat next week! None of it is rational so it's hard for rational thinking to do away with it. I think after the IF struggle it's just hard to truly believe that this is finally happening. I'm sure you know how that is! I hope things keep looking good for you, it definitely sounds like you're doing well! When was your last ultrasound?
  • @thunderberry It was the 3rd, which seems like so long ago! I miss my weekly RE ultrasounds, but at least my new OB does monthly in-office ultrasounds.
