I'm going on Thurs for a heartbeat check. Only because of my anxiety and they are now spacing out appointments more at my OB's office so I won't go back again until late Nov. Fine by me in general because those appointments are so pointless, but they offered the heartbeat check and it's close to work so might as well take them up on it.
Tomorrow is my NT scan. I am a ball of nerves. I'm really hoping my SCH has decreased. DH can no longer come with due to work commitments so I'm bummed.
***TW***
My NT scan with my first daughter was when we found out her twin was no longer living, so this scan holds bad memories for me.
*** end TW ***
I am excited to see baby again and just hoping everything measures correctly. My OB correctly guessed my DD2's sex at the NT scan with her so I'm curious to know what his guess will be with this one. I'm pretty sure we're doing the blood test tomorrow as well, so I'm guessing I will find out for sure sooner rather than later.
Tomorrow we will also *FINALLY* share the pregnancy news with our daughters. THATS going to be the most exciting.
I had my monthly OB appt today. Pretty uneventful. Took a couple of min to find the heartbeat because baby was higher up than we were expecting. And I get to come off my progesterone and metformin yay!
GL with your appointments ladies I can't wait to hear that all went well!! It's hard not to worry. Especially when you know first hand that things don't always go well Molly and yesthisiskim I'm really hoping all is well for you two ❤️
***TW spotting and loss***
I was so scared as I had a bunch of brown cm this morning on wiping after red spotting on Friday. We miscarried in March so my heart falls into my stomach as that's how it started last time.
***TW end***
I happened to need to get more medications from the fertility clinic and while I was there they offered a reassurance scan so I didn't have to go back on Thursday. Baby is perfectly on track at 8w4d with a heartbeat of 150 bpm ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ no cause seen for the bleeding, but could be the blood thinners I have to be on and straining from constipation. I left the clinic with my heart full and feeling so blessed, I was crying happy tears.
I have my NT scan tomorrow too. I'm doing my 24 hour urine collection today so I get to cart around my friend the pee jug haha. I'm nervous and excited for tomorrow!
Hoping everyone else gets good news at their appointments too!
First ultrasound/ heartbeat on Thursday! Hubby and I scheduled ours with a private office as my OBGYN refused to give me an ultrasound before 18 weeks. I just want some solace that there's something in there and that baby is ok, with a heartbeat. Not to mention that we haven't told anyone I'm pregnant yet, as we want to see/hear that heartbeat first!
Had an appointment this morning. Had a scan for dating - measured exactly and had a great heartbeat. Next week I will get blood work done for genetic screening and will tell us if we are having a boy or girl. I'm a little bummed because I found out today that I won't have anymore ultrasounds until the 20 week scan. Next appointment isn't until November 14.
@thunderberry and @mmb4532 My first scan won’t be until 20 weeks . I guess it is normal practice at my OBs clinic. Last time I had one earlier but I started my pregnancy at a different clinic h fore moving towns and to my current OB.
NT scan went well! Had to get my blood drawn twice, but no fainting this time so that's a plus haha. Baby is measuring 3 days ahead at 12w3d and heartbeat looks good. It was so exciting to see this little one. On a side note we got an alert that the alarm at our house was set off while we were getting the US and spent about 20 minutes freaking out. Luckily the police responded and all was well, just a false alarm from the door sensor. Phew! Never a dull moment haha
Had my first OB appointment today. Dr couldn't get a heartbeat in the Doppler, but they couldn't until 14 weeks last pregnancy and I have some extra cushion on my belly anyways so I'm not worried. I'm going back in two weeks to try again. She said everything else looks great! I thought I'd be considered high risk because I gave birth at 35 weeks with my son, but she said we'll just keep an eye on me when I get closer to the end and I should be fine.
Re: Weekly Appointments 10/16
And then a regular DR appointment on Wednesday which is far less exciting

appointment but it was great to hear baby’s heartbeat (160) and some fetal movement.
@sparklingdiamond, mine was higher than expected too. My OB warned me that it might take a minute but then it felt like forever!
