Just wondering if anyone has started signing with their baby yet, planning on doing so in the future, or have in the past. Curious how quickly they catch on and if you felt it was beneficial. My DD (dear daughter) just turned 12 weeks and I've started signing 'mommy', 'daddy', and 'all done'. I'm sure it'll be sometime before she understands the concept, but she does seem interested with it.
I tried this with my first DD and it never really took. I think she only got one or two signs like "milk" and "eat". But thanks for reminding me to try again with this little one.
MC Sept 2010 BFP Oct 2011 - DD born July 2012 TTC again since July 2014 First IUI 9/26/16: BFP! EDD 6/19/2017 It's a girl!
Born 6/26/17, 9lb 5oz
We did this which our first, but we started much later. Maybe aground 9 or 10 months? We taught her basics like please, thank you, more, etc. We will likely do the same this time.
Awesome! She obviously at 16 wks hasn't started signing back, but she seems much more interested in what I'm doing now. Her little wheels are turning. So cute to see her pick up on things!
