1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
10 weeks. Size of a kumquat. (Last week, my OB actually put me a day ahead, but I'm going to stick with Monday and 5/7 due date based on BBT charting.)

2) How are you feeling?
Nausea is pretty much completely gone (has been the fading past few weeks). I don't really feel pregnant. Guess I should appreciate feeling normal while it lasts.

3) Any appointments this week coming up?

Nope. Saw our little one last Tuesday! She/he was moving around and it was so exciting. Next appointment is 11/1.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I just pricked my own finger and put blood on this paper for a First Trimester Screen test (Free Beta, AFP, PAPP-A, NT w/ optional NB). (It's for Down Syndrome testing.) I guess I pricked too close to the curve of my finger because I couldn't get a big enough droplet of blood without it rolling all over my finger. So my blood doesn't fill 75% of the circles (like they ask you to do), but you also aren't supposed to overlay multiple blood droplets, so I just left the circles 30-50% soaked. I hope I don't have to do this again.

Has anyone done one of these tests before? I would 1000x prefer someone just stick me with a needle and draw my blood. I really sucked at pricking myself and doing this.

6) GTKY: What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch?
So I really don't watch much TV at all. I waste a ton of my life on the internet, but I didn't have a TV provider for like 5 years to save money, so I'm used to not having TV.

I guess I'll say Breaking Bad. I tried to get into it, but I couldn't. I had decided after the Xth episode I watched that if Walter killed some guy I wouldn't watch anymore. And he killed him (I just read the spoiler, didn't actually watch) and I have never watched another episode.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 11 weeks. Baby is the size of a lime.

2) How are you feeling? So, so tired. I am down to one or two dry heaving/vomiting incidents a day thanks to the magic of phenergan, but the side effects are amplifying my exhaustion. I am adding back in a cup of coffee a day now. I tried it yesterday and it was the first day I didn't feel like I needed a nap.

3) Any appointments this week coming up? I go in on Wednesday to my regular OB and my NT scan in next Thursday.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- it is insanely windy here today and I am not enjoying it.
Rave- Busted out the Bella band today and feeling much more comfortable.
Question- Anyone remember what they do at the 12 week appointment?

6) GTKY: What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch? The Walking Dead. I am terrified of it.

@silverhope I haven't had to do the stick myself before. I would not do well with that.

@mileswithmyles yea, I didn't really enjoy stabbing myself, but it wasn't that bad. I just totally pricked the wrong part of my finger so I made the whole bloody process harder for myself. *sorry bad British pun* *couldn't help myself*

I haven't had an NT scan yet, but I was reading online that I'll have both an ultrasound to look at the fluid at the neck of the fetus and also a blood test. Mine's not until the 23rd. Fingers crossed for both of us! I am really wanting to have the NT scan behind me. Very nervous about it because my HCG levels are pretty high, which can be an indicator of Down Syndrome.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 9 weeks, cherry.

2) How are you feeling? pretty good! Still sleeping way more than normal when I can, but otherwise I don't even feel pregnant.

3) Any appointments this week coming up? finally got the first appointment scheduled for next Monday, did my blood draw last week so they can confirm the pregnancy.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? nothing comes to mind

6) GTKY: What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch? game of thrones... Too much of a time commitment and as far as I can tell, emotional masochism. No thanks.

Exhausted and my boobs hurt. And I want to eat all the Chinese food. Otherwise, OK.
3) Any appointments this week coming up?

yes! I finally have my first appointment Thursday. Happy to post in the ultrasound thread, even though it is so full of lurkers and drivebys, not sure why I'd bother.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I just want to win the lottery and tell a few key people where to shove it.
6) GTKY: What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch?
I have zero interest in Star Trek. Or most any "fantasy" type movies- I like the realistic timelines in current period (or within the last 50 years or so).

@silverhope huh. I guess I was expecting the first tri screening to be a blood draw like all the other tests! I go in next Thursday for mine. I don't want to stick myself!

day late so 9+1. Cherry or grape!

2) How are you feeling? still tired, sore boobs, peeing like there's no tomorrow. Some random dry heaving.

3) Any appointments this week coming up? nothing this week. First tri screening next week.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: we told our parents this weekend and it was so amazing to hear their reactions! We don't live close by so we had to tell them over the phone.

6) GTKY: What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch? I'll never watch Avatar!

@BertieMeetsGertie I think most people don't have the self-pricking test. I'm not quite sure why my doctor chose it for me instead of a regular blood draw. Cost saving? Hopefully you get the traditional route!
