Re: Monday Ticker Change - 10/9
Physically I'm feeling pretty good this week... I even clipped my own toenails this morning, I was so impressed (and winded)! But emotionally drained from the rough weekend (but I don't feel like bursting into tears anymore, so yay for that).
3) What foods/drinks/habits do you miss the most & can't wait to resume once baby arrives?
At first my OB said my GBS test would be next appt, but then she said she thinks it might be the one after next, so I'm confused and not excited for that. I have a hard enough time with a pap every 2-3 years, this whole experience (including all the times with Wanda during IF) has been an upsetting welcome-mat for people hanging out near my nethers.
6) GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in theaters? What's your favorite movie of all time (or top 5, if you're like me)?
Last movie DH & I went to see was It (SO good!), and my top 5 favorite movies are (in no particular order, and entirely mood-based): The Wizard of Oz, Crazy Stupid Love, Requiem for a Dream, The Break-Up & Halloween (the original)

3) What foods/drinks/habits do you miss the most & can't wait to resume once baby arrives? I want my ibuprofen..maybe some NyQuil..and I want to sleep on my stomach!
6) GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in theaters? What's your favorite movie of all time (or top 5, if you're like me)? ohh boy it's been a while. I think the last movie I went to was the second 50 shades movie I dragged my husband to on Valentine's day. My favorite movie of all time is dirty dancing!

3) What foods/drinks/habits do you miss the most & can't wait to resume once baby arrives? I am not a huge drinker typically but man I have been craving wine and beer. other than that it hasn't been such a big deal giving up the other stuff. +1 to missing ibuprofen and sleeping flat on my back guilt free... that is what i miss most.
6) GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in theaters? What's your favorite movie of all time (or top 5, if you're like me)? ummm what was it called... magical beasts... or something like that. its been close to a year. ohhh my favorite movie of all time... that's hard. I like the HP series... a league of their own, love actually, firefly, bull durham, breakfast club....
@djd0404 no judgment on the raw cookie dough or Brownie batter... I mean thats the whole reason to make that stuff, right?!? I try hard not to look at the scale... I don't want to believe I actually weigh that much... I think IF has made me not give a F*** about down stairs... I still remember with the twins the first appointment I got to keep my pants on and I was so confuse... like I'm not sure how to see a doctor with my pants on, wait you don't have to stick the ultrasound up there any more?!?... it was a whole new world!
@kersey0208 I think the earliest they might start is 37 weeks but its usually closer to 38 though you can always turn it down if you don't want to know.

3) What foods/drinks/habits do you miss the most & can't wait to resume once baby arrives? I really want a margarita. Also, any pain reliever other than acetaminophen would be incredible. Also, I want to lift everything and not have anyone say "you shouldn't be doing that!"
6) GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in theaters? What's your favorite movie of all time (or top 5, if you're like me)? DH and I saw the new Tom Cruise movie American Made last week. Recommended. Some favorite movies include everything Marvel Avengers, Star Wars (original 3, new new ones), LOTR & Hobbit(s), HPs, and some guilty pleasures like Footloose and Tremors.
@djd0404 I am so very with you on missing the booze.
@kersey0208 I really hope your appointment today went better than the last. Was your mom able to go? Did she help deflect that NST drama you were hoping she could?
@wabash15 So with you on back sleeping. I wake up every night on my back short of breath and pause just one second (savoring) before hoisting myself up and to the bathroom. I'd even sleep on my stomach at this point. My hips just hurt awful and I feel like I have to switch sides every 30 minutes which means very little deep sleep!
BFP 4/27/2017 - EDD 12/25/2017 - DD born 12/15/2017
@kln62689 yes it went a lot better! Thanks for asking
good, some low back pain occasionally.
3) What foods/drinks/habits do you miss the most & can't wait to resume once baby arrives?
TMI: I've been having mucus-like discharge lately. Dr. Google says this is normal. Anyone else? I don't remember this from DD.
Rave: I had the day off yesterday and got a lot done. It was fab. It was even better since we went to a wedding on Sunday, so getting a bonus day to relax after a fun party was extra great!
ETA: Rant: we live near SF and the air quality is horrible due to the massive wildfires just north of us. It is really yucky, and I am concerned for all the people who've lost homes, businesses, and for those who've died and been injured. It is just awful.
6) GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in theaters? What's your favorite movie of all time (or top 5, if you're like me)?
DH and I are big dorks and saw Blade Runner 2049 last Thursday night!!! It was great. I love The Princess Bride, John Waters' Hairspray, Blade Runner, Star Wars (originals), and most Tim Burton movies.
3) What foods/drinks/habits do you miss the most & can't wait to resume once baby arrives? oh man. soccer!!!! moving without groaning. reaching my G.D. toes. not having t-rex arms. intense exercise in general. tequila. fall and winter beer. sleeping on my back. taking something when my head aches. being able to pick up my son and use my core muscles.
6) GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in theaters? What's your favorite movie of all time (or top 5, if you're like me)? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. ahem. excuse me. movies? in theaters? or not in theaters? i've seen maybe one movie since my DS was born three years ago. this is not a joke. it was beauty and the beast, which i really enjoyed.
movies i love include gladiator, shawshank redemption, love actually, most pixar films. i'm that person who hasn't seen anything soooo there won't be much on this list. i have read the HP series one billionty times and will watch the movies in a pinch but they're only OK compared to the books. reading is my one true love so i spend my free time doing that instead of movies or tv. if you asked me my favorite tv shows i would just chuckle at you
@kersey0208 i'm so glad your appointment went well this week.
@kln62689 bummer about the vomiting
@wabash15 i'm glad the move to toddler beds is going well so far! FX it continues! my DS is doing great in his big boy bed, he moved only two weeks ago or so on his third birthday.
@djd0404 for real, reaching your toes is difficult. reaching them for more than a millisecond takes your breath away. it makes me feel RIDICULOUS! also, i still eat raw cookie dough. i'm a little more touchy in first tri since listeria etc. can cause MC but now i'm like, WHATEVA, I DO WHAT I WANT. and i want cookie dough.
