6) GTKY: What feature of yours do you hope baby inherits? What would you be not so thrilled about? My friendliness. I'm pretty shy but friendly to everyone. I actually don't want LO to have my dark hair. Both DH and I have dark brown hair, and our DS is super blonde (??). I'd love if this baby was blonde too so DS had someone who looked like him lol
Exhausted... I did not sleep enough this weekend.
3) Any appointments this week coming up?
My husband is going to a 2 day conference in another city tomorrow, so I'll be on my own with my just started potty training toddler. My husband has been doing 90% of the chores too, so I just expect to be more tired because after my son's bedtime I'll still need to do dishes/get lunch ready for the next day/whatever other chores/eat dinner and I typically lie down at that point. And, my son's pediatrician has their flu clinic on Wednesday, so I get to add that fun into the mix.
6) GTKY: What feature of yours do you hope baby inherits? What would you be not so thrilled about?
I hope this baby gets a little more of my personality. Our son is "copy/paste" of my husband both in appearance and personality, and while I obviously love them both, I'm more level-headed and organized. I would rather not have two kids who are not. I was a terribly whiny baby/toddler, so I'm hoping that doesn't get inherited.

I am so excited for my 2 sisters and brother in laws to be here this weekend to visit us. We have a big weekend planned and we are doing our gender reveal while they are here. My husband likes to hunt, so he will be shooting a target with shotgun that will explode with pink or blue powder! Eeek, I can't wait and I am hoping the work week goes by quickly.
6) GTKY: What feature of yours do you hope baby inherits? What would you be not so thrilled about?
I was the biggest cuddler and lap sitter growing up. I love baby snuggles so I hope the baby gets a little bit of the love of cuddling from me. I would not be thrilled if s/he got my eyesight or teeth genes. I am pretty much blind without contacts. I can't even see the big E on the wall at the eye doctor. And I had to get braces TWICE. My husband has 20/20 vision and straight teeth with no cavities.

I hope baby is a lot like my son, he was a good baby and overall easy going kid, would not be thrilled if baby inherited my height (I'm short!) or my anxiety also.

Anyone else having a repeat c-section? I had one with DD (it was scheduled for a few reasons) and it wasn’t horrible, but I’m starting to get nervous about going through it again - just the recovery & now having a toddler to take care of at the same time and balancing it all.

My love of cleanliness. Haha...I would love for them to be quieter like me since our son is crazy wild and I'm not sure I can handle two screaming children all day. I hope they don't inherit my bad vericose veins and bad eyes. They are so painful and I've had 3 surgeries over the past 12 years for my legs and multiple procedures and surgery on my eyes since I was super little. At some point I will be declared legally blind most likely before I qualify for retirement.

It would be nice if one of my kids had dark curly hair, instead of straight blonde. I wouldn't be so thrilled if they inherited my teeth, they need to get DH's teeth...
17 weeks, baby is the size of a pomegranate!
This week so far I’ve been feeling good! Last week the headaches were killing me. Praying those don’t come back...

I would love for the baby to have my hair color and my love of being organized! In a perfect world I would love for the baby to have my hair and DHs ice blue eyes. But we will have to wait and see..
Mine's scheduled for November 2 (boo). But I'm counting down the days to find out what we are having!!! We were team green changed to team finding out. So I'm psyched!
Good other than serious round the clock constipation and being completely wiped by 5 pm! Noticing rib pain already as baby moves up.

Hmmm... my ringlet curls I had as a little girl would be fun. Since having kids I’ve lost the curl all together and now I regret the days I wished for straight hair. I’ll be bummed for baby’s sake if it has my teeth (I’m missing several adult teeth and no matter how well I care for the teeth I do have I continue needing root canals. It’s tied to my genetic disease that I also pray baby doesn’t have, but I know there are far, far worse things in the world so I try not to drive myself crazy).
